"This store has excellent prices and are very easy to communicate with. This company in my opinion handles everything very well, yet sometimes question one's knowledge of the product that they are buying. I would rate this store at an 8 on a 10 being the highest scale. Very helpful."
"This company is crooked. I recieved a damaged camera and they refused to exchange it. They lied several times and the customer service manager actually cursed at me. They said no exchange but that they would send it to Manufacturer for repairs. Two months later i finally get the camera back. No repairs done, and no repair order. They kept my camera for 2 months. Pleas esave your self the headache of dealing with these liars and crooks."
"My experience with this seller was nothing but positive. I received no high pressure sales pitch and I got quality equipment on time. I couldn't say for sure if I got the manufacturers warranty or not but I bought an extended warranty through Mack Camera anyway so I'm not worried. I know that most eBay sellers are not authorized so I didn't expect anything else to be honest.
The only problems I had were an email with an attachment called "upsale.txt" which I thought was pretty bad considering what most people think of upsale sales pressure. They said my order would be delayed if I didn't call them but I'm sure I made it clear I wouldn't putting up with any crap so they didn't give me any.
As with any mail order company be sure to order with a credit card and don't sign any crazy waivers of your rights and you should be ok. Credit card companies have backed me before and I suspect they will again. They know who is playing dirty.
So again I didn't have a single real problem with this outfit. I did get a lens that didn't exactly match my camera but they included an adaptor ring so who cares as long as the lens is bigger. You're probably better off getting a bigger size actually since you won't be using the outer extremes of the lens which is where you see distortions.
I don't see any reason for not buying with them again. You just need to know your rights before you play the game and don't let them get over on you. I didn't even have to try though. It was clean and smooth all the way and I got what I expected."
"I am disappointed with the service. I ordered a camera, lens, case, memory card, and battery from pricerite and they told me they had all on stock and it would arrive within 3 days. It took over 3 weeks to get everything and about 4 calls to the office. After about 2 weeks I talked to the manager, and he said my lens would be sent out the next day. It actually got sent out about 4 days after that. I would recommend buying elsewhere. The accesories are overpriced and they lie about everything, even on the phone. You can't trust them. I finally did however recieve my camera and lens. "
" BUY ELSEWHERE! PriceRite Photo sent me a broken camera, included the wrong size lenses and filters, and never sent one of my accessories. When I spoke to their "customer service" department, they gave me the run around and claimed that the damage must be my fault, because it couldn't be theirs. They REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR RETURN POLICY, and would not pay shipping to return the incorrect lenses and filters that they sent me. They promised to ship the missing accessory, but I never received it (it's been 8 weeks now). I now have to pay Canon to fix a camera that I received broken. Their prices may entice you, but it's not worth it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - pay a little extra to buy from a reputable company rather than dealing with empty promises."
I ordered a Nikon D70 kit, which was being sold with a $200 Factory Rebate. I emailed and also phoned (a different person) PriceRitePhoto to ask if they were an "Authorized Nikon Dealer", which was a condition of the rebate. Nikon has denied my claim, because "PriceRitePhoto is not an authorised Nikon dealer". So, I'm out the $200 because of these shady characters. And, the phone order was the most unpleasant experience I've had in a while, being high pressured to buy their overpriced accessories for my camaera. Shipping cost was over twice what it should have been but at that point, it was too late because the order was placed. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE !!"
"I wanted a Canon 20d with the 18-55 lense and bg-e2 grip and I needed it before Vacation. I called in to verify stock and overnight shipping availability. I was only asked if I needed any filters before completing order. Price Right Photo had best price out there. I recieved my camera on time, USA not grey market. In perfect brand new condition. Overall great buying experiance. I would buy from them again."

"I placed an order with PriceRitePhoto (aka TheCameraMall.com aka C&A Marketing) on June 9, 2005 for a Sony DSR-PD170 camcorder. At the time the price advertised on-line was very low, which should have raised a warning flag, but a call to the company confirmed the item was in stock ready to be shipped, was a US model, the user's manual was in English, and the salesman (Joseph) seemed helpful. There was some pressure to add unwanted items like a tripod, extra battery, etc, but they were declined. An offer to add insurance was offered, and initially I declined but then agreed after being told that otherwise if the product arrived and was non-functional I would be taking full risk. Before the product could be shipped I was asked to sign and fax a form, appended below, that indicated that if I wrote any negative feedback I would agree to have my credit card charged $100, and that I also agreed to waive my right to chargeback to the credit card company, and that product could not be returned for any reason. I signed and returned this form. However after a week there was no indication of a product even having been shipped, and the customer service folks indicated that only the salesperson could give me order status, so after several tried I reached Joeseph again, and now he indicated that he couldn't ship the product unless I faxed him a copy of my credit-card!!! This I refused to do, and have never, ever had to do for a transaction. I sent email to the company requesting cancelation of the order, and received yet another email asked me to sign and fax back a form indicating that I would not post negative feedback and if I did I was authorizing my credit card to be charged $100. I refused to sign this.
I then placed an order with B&H Photo, and received the product promptly.
Here is the first form I was asked to sign and return;

Here is the form I was asked to complete after canceling the order;

PriceRitePhoto - Customer Service
ADDED ON 7/7; the day after posting the above factual information here I was contacted by a gentleman who identified himself as "John Hancock" and threatened me if I did not remove the above feedback. He stated that it was illegal for me to post the forms that were emailed to me (though they were not marked Company Confidential) and he said that he would charge my credit card $250 for each instance of negative feedback, and that he had already charged my credit card with the amount of the previous purchase of $2138 and was going to ship me a Malaysian version of the camera I ordered, but with no lens, if I didn't comply. A call to my credit card company comformed that there was a pending charge in that amount, but I was also told that since I had a record of my cancelation in email from weeks before, that I would have no trouble disputing the charge. These guys are slimey!
Added on July 9; Although I had canceled the order weeks ago, my credit card was charged $2139 for the product that wasn't shipped, and a separate charge for $100 for posting the previous feedback. The "owner" of the company called me again and threatened me again, this time he said he would post my credit card on the Internet if I didn't change the feedback. My credit card company requested that I cancel my card, and I have done so."

"I would not suggest buying from these people. They are horrible and rude! First, off I bought a camera from this site and I they called me the next day while I was asleep and decided to keep talking even though they realized I was asleep. They asked me to buy some camera kit and I declined the offer. Then they rudely remarked about how “stupid” I was. After that I decided to cancel my order and they directed me to the supervision where he mocked me and said he would charge my card $50 for being so rude to him and not wanting the camera. It states clearly on their website that their might be a 5% fee of the order if and only if the item has been already shipped. My item was not shipped and he claimed he was going to waive the fee if I wasn’t so “rude” to him. I was so scared I had to cancel my credit card account because he hung up on me and kept reminding me he had my credit card number. This man even claimed that my account could be fraudulent because I sounded “Chinese”. I told him I was not Chinese and he kept saying “You are Chinese!!” This indicates to me this man might also be a racist. Very scary and the whole ordeal put me to tears to be honest, I did not know what was going on. I had to call back a second time and wait almost an hour to reach someone. Where he told me to post three good reviews on sites such as these to get my $50 dollars back. That I did and I now I am telling the truth. "
