"Wow. I wish I had read the reviews. These guys are total crooks. Angelo has to be be miafa. I'm a marketing professor and I feel like an idiot--I will be lucky to get my money back. High pressure techniques, bait and switch, no customer service--you are always routed back to the ANGELO nightmare. if you need to scream--call they guys--they are used to it. STAY AWAY"

"The store I actually ordered from was called 123BuyDirect but when billed to my credit card was called Price Mad, so I am posting a review here as well. Bottom line: these people are liars and crooks. They will bait and switch, offer rebates that don't exist, will lie about what they they are selling, will offer to apply credit to your card to stop your complaint and then never do it, and will offer you "extras" to make you think you are getting a better deal and then give you something that is virtually worthless. Stay away!"

"Classic Bait and Switch operation. They get your credit card info and they've got their hooks in you. I was told that the free shipping wasn't going to work and I had to fork over $235 more to get it to my house. The customer service rep on the phone made it seem quite clear that this is business as usual. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. "

"THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!!
We ordered the Sharp Aquos 52" on Fri. 11/2/07.They stated that the model we wanted is backordered(all lies) & we should upgrade and they'll give us a shipping upgrade 3-5days for $289(from New York to Los Angeles). We called Fri,Mon,Wed.,everytime the rep. said it had already been shipped. We threatened to cancel thru our credit card & the manager blew up in steam(cursing). He said why are we calling them everyday. It's now 11/18/07 and still No TV. Now we're worried if the TV will come in one piece. Their reps. are very incompetent; told me that my order was shipped by air and many other lies.
Overall, VERY BAD customer service. Do not buy from this website. We should've read all the bad reviews before our order. What a mistake. Please take our advice.

"Criminal Outfit. Cancelled order before shipment - as per "tony" - stated that
order was cancelled - order was never cancelled and was billed to credit card. Have numerous times to call and inquire to what occured
- each time met with disdain as a consumer. Charge still on charge card. "

"Seller claimed by phone that TV and projector I wanted were in stock and would ship in 2 days. Called back in 2 days for tracking number, was told unit shipped, but reps rerouted my call to different reps to get the tracking number - on hold for a total of more than 30 minutes, then disconnected. The same process was repeated daily over the next two weeks. They gave phony direct extensions and excuses. Products never did ship, finally cancelled order. Experience was the worst I've ever had with a store."

"Low price, rude customer service, bait and switch tryed, lied to about shipping, when I threatened to call credit card company lcd tv was finally shipped. Still waiting for it almost two weeks since order. Worst company I've ever delt with."

"These guys have received bad ratings for years, they don't care! After the purchase they email you saying you need to call and confirm the order, not the case. What they try to do is sell you extras such as a different TV for slightly more money that is actually a downgrade from the one I purchased, the only one stupider than me is them. Then they tell me that my price is different than what I purchased over the internet and the invoice they sent me. There is a rebate for $200 for delivery and professional installation, that my price included that. I already paid $199 for delivery, and no one is going to professionally install it. So, I have to commit fraud with the manufacture in order to get the rebate, I don't think so. They promote a tracking number regarding delivery, the number only tracks to the transport company, no further. In the long run I think it will all work out, but why do New York vendors have such a bad reputation? Because they don't care like I said in the beginning. Maybe Bin Laden purchased a TV from these guys?"

"HORRIBLE!!!

I called in to see if a Plasma was "In stock, Ready to Ship" they assured me Yes!! 3 days later I call in to get a tracking number, and they tell me the Plasma is on backorder.

I called in maybe 5 times before that and no one told me this. They also lie about shipping, kept giving me the run around (tommorow, tommorow)

Their sales/customer service are not friendly over the phone either, you can tell their clockwatchers just waiting for work to end."

"My son ordered a computer from this company, but he cancelled within a few hours because he decided he didn't want the operating system on it. Well, they still charged his credit card. When he called customer service he was told that they weren't able to stop the charges after the order had been placed, but that a credit would be issued within a couple of days. It has been OVER 60 days since the order was placed and cancelled and this charge is still on his credit card! "

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS. Amazing. I ordered a Sony Bravia Plasma TV 7 weeks ago, I've called every week for the past five weeks to find out what is wrong. Every week they told me "shipping today". I called today, the product still had not shipped. I told them to cancel the order. My bet is they make money off the float on many orders... Save yourself some grief and do not order from this store. I don't understand their high rating- rude customer service, long wait times, no product, lies... what's up w/ that!"

"Ordered on Sunday, confirmed all info on Monday
Took 5 days to ship and another 5 days to receive.
Their site shows 2 days to ship!
They also did deferred shipping which I understand that when it gets to the terminal in your location they can do whatever it takes to get it to you as cheep as they can, If this means more time, so be it.
It will take fedex 3 days to pick it up at the terminal and 3 days to go 2 hours away.
When I tried to call pricemad to fix this, they were closed April 2 to April 5 (this is in a work week, not weekend)
Unacceptable shipping methods at pricemad."

"There are lot of horror stories out there about people getting ripped-off by on-line deals to good to be true... this is NOT one of those stories! PriceMad came through with the best available price on a Panisonic 58" Plasma and delivered it on-time without a hitch. The delivery guy even helped me bring it into my living room."

"They practice in deceiving sales. Their stuff is not in stock eventhough the web site stating that it is. Even after they been informed, they still leave it as it is. They want you to call them so they can sell you "something comparable". No wonder the product I was looking for for hundreds less then other retailer. Will not shop there again."

"In spite of their website saying the HDTV I ordered was in stock and would ship in 24-48 hours they could not give me a shipping date. It turned out that they did not have the TV and were having it drop shipped from somewhere.
10 days after placing the order and still not having a shipping date other than "the next couple of weeks" I cancelled the order.
To their credit they had not charged my card and were gracious about the cancellation.
An hour later I ordered the same TV from another vendor. 24 hours later their freight company called to arrange delivery. That is the way it should be done! "
