"I ordered an item that said 'Ships SAME DAY' and I paid extra for overnight delivery. The order was not shipped out on the same day. So the next day I sent 2 e-mail requesting that my order be cancelled (because I needed it that day). I did not get a response until the next following day at which they shipped out the order and told me that it already went out. I was told to accept the item and call for an RMA# in which I would have to pay for the Overnight shipping fee and pay to have it shipped back. Needless to say I refused the delivery and it was sent back two days later. They told me that it may take up to 90 days to issue a refund because I did not have an RMA#.
This is just really poor service. The customer service rep was extremely rude and unhelpful. I still have not gotten a refund and needless to say I will NEVER order from them again.
So be aware that even if you order an item that says 'In Stock' and 'Ships Same Day' and you pay for Overnight delivery, it still may take 3 days to get it!
My advice, buy someplace else and tell everyone you know to stay away from PC Mall.
"Ordered a Geforce6800 256mb card. They sent a 128mb card. They said they would overnight the correct card. Sent the wrong card again. Charged me for both and will not remove the charges until they clear their RMA process (they won't say how long that will take)."
"Sold me an open box product, but delivered a different product, then would not make good on it even though they had the right product in stock unless I paid them more money. My invoice matched the HP part number of the correct product and they admitted that their product was not as advertised, but would not send the right product."

"Most people only write comments when they are dissatisfied. I have a different story. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service. I read such terrible reviews was scared to call them about an exchange. Although I did have to wate a while on the phone, the customer service people were friendly and prompt. I needed an exchange for a misordered part. They got it to me by the next day. I am a little upset that I had to pay for shipping on the returned item, and about the high cost of shipping to begin with, but overall I had a pleasant experience. "

"I won't ever order from these folks again. I needed a product next day and paid for it, after confirming availability. The next day, I rec'd partial shipment, and was told the remainder would be dropshipped. I then called the source of the dropship - PCMall used wrong part number and they can't process the order. Called PCMall a week ago. They said it would be fixed. Couldn't get a supervisor to return call. Can't get anyone higher than supervisor on phone (they won't release names/numbers). Finally got the package (no call backs from the company). Installed it and it works ok (problems are not their fault). Got the credit card bill, too. They added $230 to the charges without my authorization. First, they billed the proper amount. Then, they tacked on the additional amount. Called to complain - nobody is available. Tried for a supervisor. He'll call back (yeah, right). I'm a lawyer and I don't need this aggravation. I've now put in a call to corporate counsel. Let's see if their lawyers are responsive. Otherwise, I guess we have to dispute the charge or go to court."
"No Bait and No Switch, just No merchandise. Purchased the advertised Sennheiser HD-202 headphones for $9.99 each plus shipping and handling. By ordering a quantity of three the S & H was a reasonable $9.39 total. After two weeks of no word and no delivery, the order status showed cancelled and “discontinued.” They sent e-mail confirmation that the order was received, but could not be bothered to inform the customer when they cancelled the order. Sure gives you that warm-fuzzy about their commitment to customer service, or ordering anything from them in the future."
"I am extremely disappointed with quality and responsiveness of PC Mall customer service.
Today, on January 21, 2004 I called to track the status of my rebate which has been mailed 6 weeks ago. I spent approximately 30-40 minutes on the phone trying to connect the right person. I spoke with 2 account executives who could not locate the rebate by my order #. The rebate status was not available from website either. One of Account Execs stated that I should try to talk to Customer Server rep. or Rebate department. He suggested to transfer me there however he refused to provide their phone number. I was thrown back to the phone menu where I spent another 20 minutes and that brought me to anouther Account Exec who explained that if Customer Service line is busy, it will throw me back to the menu over and over again. I called 30 minutes later and was magically connected to a Customer Service representative named Priscila @ extension 4744. I tried to find out the status of the rebate. Instead of trying to help me, she referred me to a rebate Terms and Condition. I tried to explain that while yes, I understand, it takes "6-8 weeks to process the rebate after claim is received", I would still like to know if the the claim has indeed been received. She interrupted me and referred me back to the Terms and Conditions. Few times I tried to assert that all I want to know is if the rebate has indeed been received but she kept interrupting me saying the same things over and over again. When I tried to stop her and asked when should I expect a status she just hang up the call that trew me back to the phone menu.
I am extremely disappointed. At this moment I am posting the same comment as above on the following sites: resellerratings.com bizrate.com bbb.org I will also ensure that web sites that post deals on PCMall.com and all associated sites ( MacMall.com and eCost.com) are aware of my experiences.
I also would like somebody to contact me within 24 hours with the status of my rebate and explanation why the Customer SErvice is so unfriendly on PCMall.com"
"Order 3 Items and 1 item has a rebate, another 2 items combined have a free shipping rebate. Only one of the last 2 items shipped. Thus I can't get the free shipping rebate. The remaining 2 items were backordered for 2 weeks. Sent an email asking about the rebate problem and got no replies. Called and talked to a customer service representative and as soon as the Order is reviewed, he IMMEDIATELY put me on hold forever. i.e. They claim to have world class service. They must have forgotten to mention its for World Class purchase only. Coupons are a bait and switch and if you don't switch, you can’t even get the bait. Won't order from them again. They are just like other sleazy electronic stores/sites. If you really want good prices and service, go to newegg.com, or even CDW for that matter."
"Myself and a friend ordered USR 802.11g AP + PC Card for a decent price (w/ rebates). (Seperate orders). The merchandise arrived fast and as ordered for both of us. Some of the rebates (2) were from the merchant and it hasn't been long enough for these to be processed. I will update this review once that comes through (or not)."

"First time purchase from PCMall. Had a few questions, so I talked to some Reps' before placing, all were nowledgeable and courteous. Received confirmation by E-mail promptly after odering and had no problem with the tracking of it. PCMall did a very good job. Thanks. "
"Two weeks ago I ordered a LaCie DVD burner priced a little over $300 and gave PC Mall the account number for my University purchasing card. Included in the price was 2-day UPS shipping. When the shipment did not arrive after several working days I made inquiry and was told that I had not provided a valid shipping address. Despite my repeated requests for a tracking number and my informing them that UPS delivers daily to this same address. I couldn't get a tracking number. Today I canceled the order."

The person I talked to was Kristine Lane . The sale went perfect and Kristine was one of the best sales reps I have ever worked with .
