"Same story as everyone else. I ordered an American Standard toilet part. Said it was in stock. Guess what it wasn't. They immediately charged my credit card. After two weeks I got an e-mail stating that the part was in and did I still want it? Heck yes. Now two weeks later I am still waiting. I believe this company is a scam or very poorly run. Tried to call and of course the automated answer says that nobody is available and to leave a message. Do yourself a favor and buy your things elsewhere and save a lot of headaches. I am now going to have and contact my credit card company and get them involved."
"Ordered several Kohler parts from "overstockdeals.com" They were upfront and accurate with ship times on special order items and their pricing was very good. However, when they shipped an incorrect part - their mistake - customer service was difficult to reach, tried to tell me what they shipped was the "same" as I ordered and that the correct part would require an additional 7 weeks (!!) lead time. Disappointed."
"The same thing happened to me. I ordered thinking I was ordering from overstock.com and they charged my card twice. I believe that this company is a straight up scam. I should have been smart and reviewed it before making the purchase but again I thought I was ordering from overstock.com"
"This company is fabulous. I ordered a lot of Kohler bathroom accessories from them in several orders because they have the best price. The orders all came promptly. Because of delay in my remodel, it took me months to unpack and install all the items and when I did, I found that two items had the wrong finish (polished chrome and not brushed crome). This was their original mistake but mine too since I did not check the shipment - the packaging is identical except for one letter in the part number. Despite being months outside the 30 day return window, it took one e-mail to get them to accept the original error, ship the replacements immediately and arrange for a prepaid UPS pickup of the wrong items. This is good customer service by any standard. I am highly suspicious of all the low rating on this site because this is not my experience."
"I wish I had checked this site before ordering my Kohler products! I ordered two duo strainers and they arrived without any of the necessary parts for installation. I left message after message on their "customer service" line (which, by the way IS ALWAYS BUSY), and I sent e-mails through their site. I have not yet received a response. I'm getting concerned and I'm about to contact my charge card and refuse payment. I feel so foolish as I thought I was ordering from OVERSTOCK.COM."
"I was about to order from overstock deals.com when I came across this site. Thank heavens I did and learned what crooks they are before I got scammed, too. But then I thought about it and figured that it's only people who have problems who write these reviews. So I decided to order a couple of Kohler products which they offered for far less than anyone else. Their communication was excellent and I quickly received the new, unopened, and perfect products. I found these guys to be professional from beginning to end."
"I ordered some Kohler cabinet knobs. Website said in stock. I also paid for next day shipping. When I did not receive an email that the product was shipping, I checked my account on line. The day after I ordered it the product showed processing and my credit card was charged. The second day, I checked and the product showed backordered. They did not notify me that it was backordered. I sent an email asking for more clarification and have received no response. I left two voice mails on the customer service line and have not received a response. I should have known better and should have checked the reviews. Will never use them again. Based on other reviews, you throw the dice on getting a hassle free transaction."
"I ordered a Kohler tercet tub here it was $200 cheaper than anywhere else. The product was backordered and only then did I read the reviews. I was nervous at first but I called customer service. They were polite and professional. They gave me a ship date two weeks in advance which I thought was reasonable. After only a week I got a email stating shipment was made over a week prior to the estimated date. The next day the shipping company called to set up delivery. The shipping company was polite and professional. The tub upon inspection was correct and undamaged."
"I received the email notice that my order had shipped. I waited a few days, but not receive the order. I checked UPS tracking and found the order was being held due to incorrect address. Three differnent online inquiries to OverstockDeals were completely ignored. I tried calling, but all I got was a recorded message saying to leave my number and they would call me back. They did not. I finally got my order by contacting UPS directly. My experience indicates that OverstockDeals provides zero customer service."
"I accidentally ordered a different model kitchen sink. (1 number off). I realized my error within minutes of making the order. Despite multiple emails and phone calls in efforts to replace the wrong item with the right item, I was unable to reach anyone until 5 days later. They simply told me, too bad. Once you hit the order button, you have NO recourse or option to cancel or change the order (like amazon.com any other reputable sellers). I now get to also pay a 15% restocking fee. Tough lesson to learn. I should have stayed with amazon.com. I would not recommend this seller for the sheer fact that reaching a human being is insanely difficult. Their "live chat" option on their web site NEVER works. They do not respond to their emails and voice mails in a timely way."
"I was skeptical about this company but everything was fine with my order, so I thought I'd share my experience to balance out the horror stories here. CLEARLY Overstockdeals has minimal customer service, and depends on others for inventory, so I'm not sure I'd rely on them for anything that was fragile or time-critical, but in my case I was just buying a replacement Kohler toilet seat with no urgency whatsoever. Overstock Deals had the lowest price by far, so I rolled the dice. I placed the order Thursday, it shipped Friday, and arrived Monday. Packaging was solid. No complaints here."
"Dishonest and uses False Advertisement to sell their products. I ordered an Axor Uno Showe ring. It arrived but was missing the plate required to screw the unit into the wall. The customer service response was that this was a display unit and that the missing plate was not on the picture on the website therefore is not included in the purchase. Total garbage-the item was not identified as a "diplay unit" nor should it be missing any installation parts! All websites have the same exact picture and descriptions as theirs for this item. Just because the "plate" wasn't shown in the picture doesn't mean they can sell an incomplete product. The screws and plastic adapter that were in the box were also not pictured on their website yet were included in the purchase. They seem like a dishonest company and will try to talk their way out of mistakes rather than have integrity and try to correct mistakes. Its obvious that someone at their warehouse took that piece out of the box. My issue is still not resolved but I will never ever buy from them again. Shipping process is poor as their is no QC to assure all parts are in the box. I rated them one star on the price because I paid a very high price for a unit I CANNOT USE!"
"I was hesitant due to the negative reviews but got my items in perfect order in just a few days - very easy and at a price much lower than I could find elsewhere. I got an American Standard sink and a Moen faucet and saved at least $40 on each item. Happy I risked it!"
"We are renovating our bathroom at the last minute for a family reunion this coming Saturday and ordered bathroom faucets (shower and sink), pedestal sink, vanity lights, etc. I placed the order on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. Then, I looked at the reviews on this site and panicked. On the following day, I received email notice that a portion of my order was not in stock and I thought "here we go...". I emailed back almost immediately and requested them to ship in-stock items and cancel the others. Approx. 4 hours later, I received an email reply that the in-stock items were ready to ship and that I would be receiving a credit. I later emailed with a request for shipping #'s for tracking and received an email with tracking #'s and the credit transaction ID to track my credit card credit for canceled items. I received the full credit within 3 days. I then began to receive my items on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 (probably would have received them sooner if not for the Thanksgiving holiday). My pedestal sink top arrived via UPS on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011. It was shattered during shipment and we refused it on the spot. Called and got someone on the phone this time (usually get the voicemail), with profuse apologies and assurances that a replacement would be overnighted to meet our renovator's deadline. We recieved the replacement tonight, Thursday Dec. 1, 2011. Order is now complete. I have no complaints whatsoever with the responsiveness and willingness to correct things to keep this customer happy. They bent over backward to make things right. The only thing that I would suggest is a better communication system. Maybe I've just been spoiled by Amazon.com though"
"I ordered from OverstockDeals.com even after reading the reviews here. You can not beat the prices. I took a risk. Some of the items were not in stock so I had to order somewhere else. Other item came in perfect condition, shipped promptly. I was concerned about credit back to my credit card since I was a bit paranoid after reading all bad reviews, but it came back all right. The communication was via email very prompt. I got replies the same day or the next day. The phone 1-800 number goes to voice mail so I did not bother leaving voice mails but was fine communicating via email. I take one star off for the phone going to voice mail during business hours."
