"I haven't written a review for resellerratings for a very long time, but just had to return to comment on my order from orbit micro. I've never had such amazing customer service from an online or b&m store, ever. Within hours of my order, customer service contacted me, automatically opened a ticket, etc, and let me know that it would take 3-4 days lead time for assembly - they wanted to warn me and check that this was an acceptable delay. It was, I let them know, and in 3 days the items were shipped. They contacted me again in a few weeks to make sure everything was resolved to my satisfaction. I talked to actual people every time, never had to work my way through automated replies. They initiated all contact, I never had to go out of my way to ask why my stuff hadn't shipped. I can't speak highly enough about their customer service.
Obviously, on top of it all, they have a very unique selection of very hard to find hardware. I was happy with what I got, and will check them first next time."
"I am an experienced in IT and computers in general, and I have done dozens of bios and firmware updates to equipment over the years, but this one time I made a small mistake that almost costed me a $200+ motherboard... I flashed the wrong bios in it! As it was in EOL I realized that chances were that I would not be able to find a replacement bios chip for it, and it would be junk. I got in contact with several places but no one had it in stock, until I found Orbit Micro. I ordered the bios chip, it arrived safely, I installed it and it worked perfectly. A $200+ motherboard was saved by a simple and small $10 bios chip that came when I almost had lost hope for it. Thank You Orbit Micro!"
"We spent hours in failed searches for an adapter from PCI-E X4 to X16. Finally we found Orbit Micro and in minutes were able to order the correct adapter. Prices were reasonable and shipping was on target. The best part is that the adapter worked as advertised and solved my problem! Tom Morgan"
