"Well, it's been almost 3 weeks now and the package has yet to leave Old Bike Barn. If there's one thing they are very good at, it's promptly charging for products they don't have in stock. It took 10 days before I even learned there was going to be a delay shipping the product. Don't buy from these guys if you need something sooner than a month out.UPDATE: Got the package, Shipping manifest matches what I ordered (a carb sync gauge and 4 carb kits), yet the package only had one of the rebuild kit. Nothing in the package is hard to get and my local shop can have the same items the next day, so don't bother with these guys."
"Scammers?!That would be polite...in reference to The Old Bike Barn.These Bozos...took my money....made me wait three months and then....wait for this little gem...stated that my credit card company billed me (how would they know that....considering the following)but...did not credi TOBB with the money...thus they could not send me the tires I purcahsed.Three months!They then had the nerve to say...check with your credit card company!This was after at least three e-mails to and from them...stating ...from TOBB that the tires were on the way.A total time waste....D not run from this company...just put them on a check list that says"he best way to "win" is not to play the game...at all with them"Total nonsense company!Plus I purchased the tires from a company in Medford ...less expensivelyand...on time delivry.If you see their website....totaly put it in a box that says....incompent...unreliable...alcholic mentalities.DCW"
"Run, don't walk this "family owned business" are the biggest scammers on the internet. They will quickly charge your credit card and not ship the merchandise. When push comes to shove they will only ship part of the order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS you will only loose your money. I have filled a complaint with the NY attorney generals office and have requested VISA's assistance with recovering my money. I wish I had first checked them out on the internet before ever placing an order with them. Be advised they now ship your money to Canada to deposit to avoid US Prosecution. Although they say there based in the U.S.A. your money is deposited in Canada and your credit card is charged a Exchange Fee. When you do reach them on the phone they are extremely rude and refuse to give you there name.....BUYER BE VERY WARY !!!"
"Company has had a MAJOR downturn. Look at reviews and blogs. Sluggish response. Quick to charge your card, but then impossible to contact. Huge customer complaints. This would have been my 4th order from them. They have always come through, but slowly. So I didn't do a background check. The order has been cancelled for over a month, and I still do not have a refund. My credit card company is working at it. Please, don't do business with Old Bike Barn. Someone should lock down their website. Follow up: I initiated a grievance procedure through VISA and we are finished now. My $360 is back in my account and I am done with Old Bike Barn. It took several emails, a couple phone calls, one fax and two mailed packs of evidence, but VISA came through for me. "

"I would have to agree with 3 of the 4 previous ratings for old bike barn (poor service). I paid for a tire over 5 weeks ago. They sent me the wrong tire so I paid another $20 to send it back to them. They were supposed to send me the correct tire which has yet to arrive. I have spent $130 at this point and have nothing in return. I have sent many emails which come back in the form an uninformative auto reply. I tried calling the customer service number many times with no answer. I finally called parts and someone did answer that number but I still have yet to get my merchandise or a refund. I would avoid purchasing anything from this company unless you absolutely can not find what you need anywhere else. "
"I do not recommend The Old Bike Barn for online orders. I purchased on July 8th, cancelled due to no activity on the 18, received a reply on the 22nd from one of three inquiries, and was told that my refund had been processed on the 29th. Still no refund on August 1st"
"On the 14th I placed an order of 1 clutch lever and payed promptly and had the 1-2 day delivery shipping. I recieved a call the day after explaining that there was a problem with inventory and that the shipping would be reduced to regular mail delivery. I was assured the part would be here by monday. never came. Same on tuesday, and now 11 days later still nothing. Customer service is a joke. I sent multiple e-mails with no response. When you try calling you get the same automated message saying no ones available. Don't do business with these scam artists!"
"Got My Tires is very short turn around time. Faster than they had quoted. I was expecting it to take "7-10 days" to land, but Mailman dropped them off on the 4th Day. I'll Shop here again now that I know they're good"
"I placed an order for five different parts, hoping to get my bike fixed quickly. I emailed right after the order to make an addition and they did make the correction eventually. I expected the parts in a week or so, so after two weeks when I hadn't gotten them I emailed (couldn't find a phone number, though now I know their merchant page on Amazon has one) to ask what was up. One of the items was out of stock. They didn't bother to let me know that at any point until I asked, and they told me it would be back in stock in three days. Two weeks later, I still don't have my parts. Prices were good, but I wouldn't order from them again, not if I needed the parts within the month anyway."
