"I went to Sears to shop/compare gas cooktops to replace my old electric one. After finding one that met my needs and budget, I went online to compare prices. Goedeker's site was easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. The price was about between 20 to 25% less than Sears, in part because no sales tax. Everything went smoothly with the online order. I used PayPal and Goedeker's quickly confirmed the order. Apparently the cooktop was not a stocked item and Goereker's had to order/receive one before it was sent to me. This was not clear when I ordered. It was about 10 days before I heard from Goedeker's that my order arrived at their warehouse and was being prepared for shipping. It went out the next day FedEx and arrived when scheduled. Everything seems fine, it works as anticipated. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Goedeker's again. The only suggestion I would have is that Goedeker's provide an "estimated arrival time". I have a sense that they don't stock bigger items and order when they receive an order. The delay didn't impact me, but might impact someone who is having some work done and needs the item at a certain time for a contractor to install. "
"Excellent service with unbeatable pricing. Saved over $350 on a $2000 refrigerator. Kind of skeptical buying appliances online at first but figured I had to give them a try because of the price difference. Big box stores all say they can match but when you throw free delivery and no sales tax at them they can't do it. Delivery time was good and we are totally satisfied with our purchase. "
"My entire kitchen appliances were delivered within 4 weeks after I placed the order. I am very pleased and completely satisfied with the services Goedeker's provided from pricing, online order, e-mail and telephone conversation and delivery. Goedeker's service is much better than I expected. I recommend Goedeker's without reservation!Peng Li, MDThank you again for your excellent service"
"We bought a wine fridge and it came broken. The people at Goedeker's have been helpful trying to show us how to repair it, but no luck so far."
"ordered ge cafe and received product in timely manner. was treated very from customer service. will definitely recommend to friends, and will order again from goedeker's "
"A few weeks ago I wrote a glowing review for Goedeker's, but my opinion has since changed after a week of back and forth with them about replacing my dishwasher that arrived in horrible condition. Their customer service has been very poilite, however, their resoulitions not so much. We order an oven and a dishwasher from this company. Both packages arrived in a timely matter looking perfect. We installed the oven immediately, but kept the dishwasher in the box until our flooring in our kitchen was installed. Upon opening the box the product still looked ok, but when we took all the packaging off we noticed it was totally damaged. We have been going back and forth with the company about replacing our dishwasher. Their resolution was to send us 2 of the parts that are damaged- 3 are damaged. They have not yet offered to replace the entire item, so we will see today if they accept it as a return at least. "
"Researched best Electrolux range price and Goedekers had it. Ordered the appliance and Goedekers answered any questions I had quickly, very impressive. Will definitely buy from Goedekers again! JB hunt delivered and did an excellent job. Installed, used the range once received a blemish in the glass surface called Electrolux they sent out a company to fix (diagnose) and they did. The service company went to order the parts and Electrolux refused them parts because the range was purchased over the internet and the parts had to come from a third party supplier in another state who has nothing to do with anything and it's been a battle ever since. I made four calls to Electrolux and every time they tell me it's taken care of only to find out the next day it's not. Buy Locally from a brand you can trust!"
"I ordered a wall oven via the internet. I never ordered from Goedeker's before, but read the reviews and the price was right, so I decided to give them my business. The ordering process was smooth with the exception of all the contact emails I received from Goedeker's went directly to my spam mailbox instead of my in box. I was disappointed with the lack of communication from Goedeker's once I placed my order. After a week, I ended up having to first email them for an update status on my order and when they never responded in two days, I then called their customer service. That experience was ridiculous. First, I was on hold for over 17 minutes. I finally hung up and called back and got right through. The customer service rep was difficult to deal with. He seemed inept at his job, unable to get me difinitive answers on the status of my order, and left me upset that I even ordered from this company at all. With that being said, I did receive a call a day later from the freight company with delivery info and received my oven the next day (although the freight company messed up my delivery time because they mistakenly left my oven on the dock that morning and had to reschedule a later delivery."
"Needed a small oven for a rental property and Goedeker's had the best price. Ordered it on-line and received it within two weeks, exactly what I ordered. They also called me to let me know when JB Hunt would deliver it. Good service."
"Great customer service! I purchased a Refrigerator, Range & an Ice Maker. Everything was delivered to my door. I will definitely shop here again. Thanks Goedekers!"
"In less than two hours, I received a reply from Goedeker's to my reguest for information about my order. It was not a computer generated form letter, but was from an actual person. Chelsea fully informed me about my order, it was not a generalized reply, but showed she had researched my order status. I replied and indicated my appreciation with the way Goedeker's does business, she replied with thanks."
"AWFUL experience with them. Stay away.We were doing a renovation, and ordered a refrigerator, dishwasher and above-range exhaust fan/hood from them. Good prices, and an easy shopping experience online. The shipping was slow, and the company I had to deal with was difficult to schedule for last mile delivery. Having done so and gotten the contractor who was going to do the work on our house to be there (which cost me, but they couldn't give me a time window that would let me be there for only part of the day, and the cost was less than the value of a day's vacation), they delivered the order and pushed for only external inspection. "If it's unscratched, what could be the problem?" When he actually went to install three days later, the dishwasher was broken. The motor was just hanging off. Clearly, it had been through a major drop, as the foot was driven through the housing. But they wouldn't accept responsibility, while the delivery people said it was fine when they delivered it. This damage is not visible from the outside, and the thing arrives sealed. It would take another month to get a replacement. They offered to find a repair facility near here that would do a repair in about two weeks. After the difficulty getting it, followed by another delay with installing it and the buck passing I've seen in response to a customer problem, I've decided to pay the restocking fee and return it just so I never have to deal with them again. Oh, and the logon they made me create so I could see my invoice online doesn't give me access to the invoice, since I wasn't logged in when I placed the order. This is one of many problems I've had with their web site. The shipping page was down, so I didn't know the delivery time frame. The login changed, so I can't find my order. If you're going to be an internet retailer, it helps if your web site doesn't suck. They're charging me to return something that arrived broken. And I'm willing to pay a fee to get them out of my life. What does that tell you?Price is a good thing to compete on, and they do that. But it turns out that in a renovation project costing over $50,000, you're a fool if you shop to try to save $1,000 on your appliances. You need someone local who can do the work locally and deliver quickly. And if you're not renovating, you're replacing most likely because your appliance is broken. If that's the case, their shipping is too slow for your needs. So if you're doing a renovation, don't use them. If you've got a broken appliance, don't use them. Other than that, of course, I'm sure they're fine...I hate these guys."
"The variance in breadth of customer response on this review site is odd and somewhat confusing. It seems to be totally binary – either awesome or terrible. Maybe there are a few bad-eggs in the customer service department? Or maybe some of the purchasers didn’t have appropriate expectations for the timing for delivery (which is in my mind is Goedeker’s job to explain if it is atypical of common or expected online practices). Anyway I guess I was lucky in that the sales person I spoke with initially appropriately set my expectations (though I did get some of that marketing fluff when I called back and spoke to someone else…”our average delivery time…” just tell me when I’m getting the item and don’t provide vague answers or generalizations…consumers are not idiots). I somehow got lucky and eventually connected with Chelsea in customer service. She was AMAZING and stayed in touch via email throughout the entire transaction all the way through to delivery (several weeks and many emails). Even when the JBHunt delivery team damaged the initial item, had to remove it and replace it with a new one. Chelsea was on top of the process from beginning to end, provided relevant updates, and worked with the delivery company to fix some damage that occurred during initial delivery. The level of customer service was quite unusual and completely unexpected (READ: amazing). I actually felt as if someone was helping me further the process and making my life easier (shocking, right?) Especially as most of my recent online shopping experiences have involved customer service departments out sourced half way around the world. Seriously, I’d shop with Goedekers again purely on the amazing customer service experience I had. That said it seems from some of the other feedback that there have been issues that others experienced which didn’t have quite so rosy an outcome. I did notice that it appears that the company does proactively respond to each and every comment both positive and negative, which would lead me to believe that they are working to get any kinks out of their order processing. "
"Everything arrived as promised and I am very Pleased! There were a few small communication issues, but some of the very nice team members such as Kim and Dave at Goedeker's helped me out and proved to be very friendly. I would recommend and order from them again! Thank you Goedeker's!"
"Ordered a Samsung top load washer and a Samsung dryer. It cost much less than anywhere local and tax free and free shipping was a definite plus. My wife loves them. The only thing that could have been better was a notice of shipment before it arrived."
