There is something to say about purchasing from a family run operation as opposed to purchasing from the big boys. Building a relationship with your camera salesman is something I would never trade in just to save a few bucks. Norman Camera has very competitive pricing and even on a few instances matched the big boys price making my decision to pick up the phone and call Norman Camera that much easier. All of my orders went out the same day and were received the following day as I live one state over from Norman. Every camera and lens I have received from Norman Camera has been brand new and unopened. My experience with other resellers prior to Norman Camera was much different in that periodically I had received lenses that had been obviously used but sold as new. Norman Camera has also contacted me by my request when a very hard to obtain lens came in stock. This is one of the perks of building a relationship with your salesman. When everyone else is sitting around waiting for their next desired lens, you have a better chance when your salesman is looking out for you. I give them a 5 star rating as I have never had a bad experience but only good experiences dealing with Norman Camera. "On Sunday, October 3rd I ordered a new Canon 50D body from Norman on eBay for $800.00. Norman assured me that it is a new camera with the Canon USA warranty. They shipped it (free!) on Monday, October 4th and I received it on Wednesday, October 6th. It is exactly as described and I am very happy with it.
