reply posted Apr-17-2012 “The order came into us 4/12 and was shipped 2nd day air that very same day. Fedex Air service runs Monday-Friday and therefore doesn't deliver on the weekends. This is a standard Fedex practice. We are sorry for the confusion. We shipped your product as requested and it arrived within 2 Fedex business days.”

On the Nikon Rumors website, I saw an add that Norman Camera had them in stock. I called right away and ordered one. I got it two days later exactly as promised. Since I had never heard of Norman Camera, I got nervous about a Grey Market Copy. When I called to confirm that it was a regular Nikon import, the clerk told me that they only sell photo equipment with regular US warranties. He added \u0022this is Wisconsin, not New York!\u0022 By the way, the B&H clerk was happy that I had found a D800 elsewhere and cancelled my order without a problem. I drove from Lansing to Grand Rapids about an hour and ten minute drive, unfortunately I had the lens shipped Fedex since I could not pick up the lens on location do to a lack of communication\/experience from one of the sales guys, which I think he didn\u0027t mean no harm, however on this note, a sales rep named Chris Sells turned it all around and Norman\u0027s Camera made a comeback and paid attention to my concern and made up for the short lived trouble. When I went back to their website to place my order, my item was out of stock. I telephoned the store to ask when my item would be restocked. The floor sales person who was very courteous and most accommodating said there was possibly stock in their other store. There was and he said he would have the item sent to the store from which they shipped their internet orders and that he could have it shipped to me in three business days. I received an email the following day that my item had shipped that day (less than 24 hours after I originally placed my order). My order arrived on my doorstep the following day in perfect condition. The only way Norman Camera could have improved my experience with them is if they were telepathic and had shipped my order to me before I placed it! I will definitely go out of my way to deal with Norman Camera whenever I can in the future. The Norman family is wonderful!
