"I ordered a simple fan shroud for my computer on February 6th, by the time February 15th came around I emailed the company asking the whereabouts and status of my purchase, with no response from the company. So, I gave it a few more days, when February 19th came around I sent a second email, and to which, no response again from the company as of today. It is now February 21st, and no fan shroud or response from NEXFAN, so I finally just went ahead and purchased another fan shroud from a different company, my loss I guess.."

"I too have ordered from Nexfan several times over the years and never had a problem before. I ordered on 1/8/08 and expected delivery by 1/14/08 as I live in NJ and previously received order in 4 days or less. I sent an email on 1/17/08 and requested cancellation of the order if not shipped by the 18th as I needed the parts to assemble a computer. They billed my credit card on 1/8/08 but never shipped my order or acknoweleged my emails. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company and obtained the parts elsewhere where they were promptly shipped and delivered. Seeing as the negative comments go back months I don't see how the banks and Yahoo allow them to remain open and accept orders that then can not handle."

"Ordered here because Newegg was out of stock. What a mistake. They promise that all items are in stock and will ship in 24-hours. It took 24-hours to bill my credit card, but no shipment. No status update. I called and sent emails. Finally I got an apology saying that my order would be shipped right away. Still nothing almost a month later. Avoid these guys at all costs."

"I'm extremely disappointed here I live 1hr away from this sellers' listed address and I won't go there due to having a short fuse. I've purchased from them b4 without a hitch, now I wish I would have found this site b4 I will inform my friends of nexfans' nonexistence. Yahoo should be closing his acct to avoid anymore fraud to all banking facilities nationally. If anyone should know how to approach yahoo please list it here. I've taken steps to reclaim my funds,patient no more. Nexfan has made my blacklist stay away, if he should revive himself out of some hole he's dug for himself he better knock on my door with products on hand"

"Nexfan has major problems.

My online order was placed on 1/6/08. I received an immediate email from help@nexfan.com confirming the order. The correct charge for the order is on my most recent credit card statement.

3 emails and 2 phone calls asking for an estimated ship date have been ignored by Nexfan.

In the eighteen days since my order, Nexfan's homepage 'specials' have been updated at least 2 times.

Nexfan is guilty of poor customer service and possible fraud.

AVOID NEXFAN!!!"

"Over the years I've ordered several times from Nexfan and the service was always top shelf. So when it came time to place another order I didn't think twice about buying from Nexfan. Several days went by and I had not received my order. My email went unanswered, my phone calls went unanswered. I then decided to come here to see if anyone else has had this problem. I was shocked to see their rating. I will now start proceedings with my credit card company to get my money back. Never, never again will I buy anything from Nexfan. Anyone thinking about ordering from them better take note of all the unhappy customers and buy elsewhere."

"I have ordered from Nexfan.com sporadically for years and have always enjoyed good prices and cheap fast shipping. However, my most recent order has been nothing short of being a terrible purchasing experience. I received a partial shipment 1½ months after my order and now 2½ months later have not received the rest of my order. They do not respond to email or voicemails. The items that were supposedly "backordered" and thus couldn't be shipped to me are still available to order on their site. Since I have yet to receive any communications from them I have contacted my credit card company, since the full amount was charged."

"I placed my order on this site because I saw they had a sale on SATA II cables for cheap and they were giving ones away for free as well. I placed the order and it's been 8 days and the order still hasn't been shipped. I had to actually pay through yahoo's system because the paypal wasn't working. I tried sending an email to them but no response at all. I tried calling the phone number listed and there's never an answer at all. I did however do a whois on their domain name and here's the registration information:

It appears the 2nd address is either a warehouse or some type of office environment. Well either way, I'm calling the local police to see if there's anything I can do about this business.

I called the Royersford, PA Police Dept and he said that he doesn't even know that address but it's a multi-jurisdictional city and so that he's going to contact the others and do some research to find out about the address, the business, and the owners and once he speaks with them and I can prove (duh credit card reports) that I paid them and they haven't responded to me or sent me anything in return that they will prosecute them and I should be able to get my money back.

Also, remember that Yahoo has a Buyer Protection Policy like Paypal but it's automatic so long as you contact them within 60 days of the order. I just contacted them to get my money back and from what they say on their site I should get my money refunded by Yahoo but on the phone the lady was a little dodgy. I asked her if yahoo handled their CC processing and she said no but yahoo does handle the CC processing of merchants using Yahoo. I would never buy from these people again but I'm damn sure going to get my money back and press charges against them."

"This guy got me too! I was referred to nexfan by a user board. Did not think to research!
Placed the order on 12/26 card was charged on 12/27, (Paypal doesn't work.) I heard nothing until I emailed and got back the family emergency b.s. Since then nothing, fax # is no good, voice box is full. I did find his address and sent a letter. But nothing, this guy blows. I'll have to do the chargeback routine.I can't believe Yahoo stores lets him stay open. Stay away, just stay away from this goofball!"

"10 days after ordering and no tracking info, company will not respond to multiple emails requests, company will not return phone calls, voice mail box is full. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!"

"WHAT happened to this company?? I bought from them a few years ago and there was super service, great communication and super fast shipping. I have been calling for several days and leaving messages and sent numerous emails trying to find out where my fans are at.

THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE HAD THE UNFORUTNATE PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. Wish I had looked here before placing my order, now I'm paying for it in more ways than one.

"I made a mistake by not reading reseller ratings before dealing with this vendor. Just like the many complaints below I have not been able to contact Mr. Soo Y. "After several successful orders from NexFan in years past and a strong past rating from satisfied users, I ordered again last month assuming things were still OK (and unfortunately without checking Reseller Ratings for updated information). Ordered on 11/29/07 and credit card was charged immediately. Never received as of 12/19/07. No tracking information or status update on web site. No email status updates. Not responding to customer service request via email. Not answering phone and not responding to phone messages. Stay away from this company!!!

12/26/07 Update: Have sent additional emails, still no response at all. Be forewarned."
