"Facts of my experience: I saw a rock-bottom price of $169 for a Canon 55-20 IS Zoom lens and was lured into doing business with them. The item is listed as "in stock". The next day a representative called to inform me that in fact it was "out of stock" but should be available in 2 weeks. He tried to sell me a UV filter for $59. I declined and politely told him that $59 was too high a price for a UV filter. He then recommended that if I get a UV filter elsewhere, make sure it is a "HD filter". Now, I am no idiot when it comes to optics and I know that was a complete lie. I stupidly waited 2 weeks then called to ask when I could expect delivery. This time the representative told me that it would be another 2 weeks. I immediately canceled my order.
My opinion: My opinion is that they lure customers with low prices, then do bait and switch, or try to sell overpriced accessories. I do not believe they ever planned to sell me that lens at the advertised low price.

"First of all, I read some of these reviews just after I placed an order for a SanDisk 32GB Extreme Pro memory card for $93 + change (a little "too" good of a price). I read the reviews about bait & switch, and there are "a lot" of them. Then within a day, I received an e-mail indicating that there is a problem with my order, so I thought to myself, OK here we go! They told me some nonsense about a "global manufacturer defect", and I'm thinking "Yeah right!", anyway I said, OK just cancel the order, and of course they try to offer up another memory card for $109. I simply cancelled and that was that. I then placed an order for the same SanDisk 32GB Extreme Pro with a reputable seller. Classic bait & switch -- BEWARE!"
"I ordered a two SanDisk 32GB Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I Memory Card. I received an email asking me to call them. I was told the product was "backordered." The representative then tried to sell an inferior "Vivatar" card which he claims was "just as good" for the same price. This seems to be the classic bait and switch con. I cancelled my order and will take my future business elsewhere."
"Very pleasant experience buying lens caps and hoods. I made a mistake with the version of my lens and ordered the wrong size. I thought it was their mistake first when the parts didn't fit my lens. They were very gracious throughout the whole process and even sent me one of the correct parts free! Great customer service."
