"I have been a loyal customer of Newegg for many years. All of my computers that I have built for myself, friends and family have all had parts purchased through Newegg. Along with offering great products at competitive prices, the customer service has truly been a shining star for the company any time I've had to make returns, exchanges or even concerns with sale pricing and still the process has been quick and relatively hassle-free.
With that being said, I recently had purchased a hard drive and a few days later, that same hard drive had a promotional discount. I contacted Newegg Customer Service and they responded that "we don't offer any protection on the price or promotion." While I disagree with the policy (any retail store would honor a sale price post-purchase), I was still awarded a credit for the difference.
