"I wish I had read all the complaints this merchant had, because like most of you I just lost my money! It's been more than four months since I placed an order with Netmagazine and after many emails still no magazine. Stay away from this Merchant, this is a scam!!! I consider myself lucky to only lose 19.00 bucks out of my Paypal account. Paypal will not help because you can only complain the first 45 days and the lead time for these magazines is 90 days after you pay-see the scam? What a racket!!"

"Ordered March 2006, never received, they supposedly resubmitted order Sept 2006, still haven't received. Customer service promised response in 5-7 business days, 2.5 weeks no response yet. Clearly they are scammers, they probably take in as much as possible and fulfill only the subs that harrass them relentlessly, I am going to contact the state attorney general, I suggest others do the same."

I ordered and paid for a magazine subscription in July 2006 and it's still not here! I've contacted them several times and given them the date, PayPal confirmation number, etc. and every time they've told me there had been a problem processing the account. Mind you - this subscription was an anniversary present for my hubby ...

Finally, I cut to the chase and contacted the MAGAZINE I ordered's subscription department. Apparently, after you hound and hound and hound NetMagazines they finally give it up and place the order because the magazine responded that they'd received the order DECEMBER 8th (5 months and 1 day after I initially placed the order through NetMagazines) and that we will receive the first issue within the next 10 days.

Hmmmmm ... makes you wonder if there isn't some kind of scam going on - like NetMagazine is out there taking your money, promising the first delivery within 12-15 weeks hoping you'll forget you placed the order and maybe splitting the ill-gotten gains between itself and the magazine???

I dunno, but next time I'll just bite the bullet, search online for subscription coupons to use directly with the magazine, and pay for it that way.

Bottom line - avoid NetMagazines unless you've got more patience than most folks and really really really like nagging.

" It's been 10 months they charged my credit card. Till date I never had the magazine nor the refund. I would strongly recommend not to go with Netmagazines.

The customer service representative (Shelly S.), is so dumb that she asks the same questions over and over again. Example: What is last four digits of my credit card #. I replied back with the info. 4 days later she asks the same question. Can't she pull that info from my order # rather delaying the whole process for next a few days?

I did leave a complaint against them with both BBB.org and Attorney General of Washington Consumer Protection Division. I request all of you to do the same. Thank you

"Ordered 52 issues of TV Guide on 8/26/06. Credit card was charged immediately. Estimated delivery date passed a month ago. Their response to my e-mail inquiry not received as promised. Still no magazine 4 months later. Thoroughly dissatisfied."

"DO NOT buy from this company!! I ordered American Girl magazine on 7/21/06 and I STILL have not received it! The subscription was supposed to start arriving on 10/14/06, so I contacted them for the first time a couple of days after that and haven't stopped communicating with them ever since. I have asked for a refund again and again and have been told that a refund was on the way. Then I was told that the magazine should arrive any day. Today is 12/19/06 and I contacted them AGAIN regarding the refund, and was told AGAIN that the magazine should arrive any day! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!! YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY!!!"

"Horrible, fraudulent company. I paid for two magazine subscriptions and never received either one!!! Impossible to communicate with them. I've been emailing them for the past month and now they are saying I never paid!!! Paypal and my credit card company sure charged for the magazines!!! Complete rip-off. DO NOT order from them or you will be out money. TERRIBLE"

"It's been 16 weeks since I ordered, and thus far, no magazine publishers know of the order. They charged my credit card promptly, but that apparently is where they stop with their obligations. I contacted their customer support, and got a response saying they'd investigate. After 16 weeks, I don't care what they say... I want a refund, and it doesn't look like I'll ever get one."

"I have ordered 4 subscriptions from them. They debited my credit card immediately, but after 3+ mos 3 of the 4 subscriptions have not begun nor is there any record that the magazines ever rec'd them. I dont expect that the 4th subscription will ever arrive either! I ordered from them because they have the Better Business logo on their homepage. Apparently that is meaningless."
