"I've bought products from NCIX several times. Every time, the transaction has gone smoothly, items have shipped quickly, and above all else, the prices are excellent.

This time, however, I decided to write a review because I used a feature on their site which I'm really impressed with: their price matching feature.

In summary, I had found the best price for some of the products I wanted at NCIX.com, and the best price for others at NewEgg.ca (another great on-line store). I didn't want to pay double for shipping by buying the products at both stores. Then I discovered the NCIX's price matching system.

I was skeptical, but I entered the URL for the better prices I had found at NewEgg, and the price that NewEgg had posted. To my utter surprise, that's all I had to do. NCIX matched their price, and I was able to get everything in one shot, and from one place which allowed me to save on shipping costs.

Bravo NCIX! I'm really impressed with that service, on top of my usual satisfaction with the rest of NCIX's products and services.

Finally, I'd also like to give a "thumbs up" to the email feedback I receive from NCIX at each step of the transaction and delivery process. I really like the fact that I get notified when each step of the transaction is completed instead of me having to log into some annoying system to track the progress.

Overall, NCIX is an excellent online store. If anything, their services have gotten better over the years which is yet another plus in my books. I like not having to worry that customer service has become a victim of a store's success. Quite the contrary at NCIX.

"I have used NCIX for all my major computer parts needs over the years. Have always had great service from them in the past. This recent purchase went without issue as well. Delivered faster than I expected to boot.

"I was recently purchasing parts to build a new gaming PC. Tigerdirect used to be my main parts supplier, but recently I've noticed that their prices are not very great. After some price comparison and reading reviews, I decided to try NCIX. Excellent decision!

I really like how NCIX will price match, which meant that I was able to get a part that may have been cheaper elsewhere, for that same price and not have to pay extra shipping, which I would have if I'd ordered from two companies. Between the price matches and money saved on shipping, I probably saved about $150.

I did place two orders since I wanted to take advantage of some Boxing Day specials. When I noticed that my first order still hadn't been billed but the second had, I gave them a call. The gentleman (Brad) who handled my call was very friendly and fixed the issue right away.

I also had 4 items ordered that ended up being out of stock, and Brad went through them all one by one, to find me comparable items that I wouldn't have to wait for. He ended up saving me another $35 and I got a much nicer PC tower as well.

Shipping was incredibly fast and reasonably priced, and even though they had to ship from multiple warehouses (my 2 orders came in 5 separate packages) I only paid for the base shipping on each order.

Unfortunately, once I got the build completed and powered it up, the power supply shorted out immediately. But once again NCIX was amazing. I put in an RMA request which was fulfilled the next day. I shipped it back to them and one day after receiving it, they have shipped a replacement.

All in all, I am incredibly impressed by this company and they have gained a new customer!"

"I've been ordering from NCIX for years now, for personal orders and for my employer. Their prices are usually the best, their price matching is simple to use and ensures I get the best price from them, and the shipping is always fast ( as long as the product is in stock when ordered). I always recommend friends to use NCIX and will continue to use them as long as they have best prices. Service is good when I rarely use it, and they ship from Canada, which is faster than some of the competition. "

"Honestly they had great support and awesome response, but they didn't do an amazing job at building the pc. I've so far had problems with my graphics card (gtx690) which i should not and then my raid set-up failed multiple times and they couldn't help fix it. Also multiple things were not plugged in and some configurations in the bios were not proper. The pc itself should not have any problems, its all very good products. I paid for the premium setup for building the computer and they honestly had terrible cable managing also I asked them for individually sleeved cables ( over the phone) which they said they had, and they instead gave me the regular cables. Without letting me know they also shipped out my pc with 1 original fan instead of letting me know so i could order an extra (every other fan was a bitfenix led pro). Lastly what made my experiance terrible, is when they shipped my pc they took the graphics card out and shipped with the boxes and such which is awesome, but then they forgot to ship the actual pc and it was lost in their factory for about a week and they didn't realize, so i had my beautiful graphics card and all the boxes and extra components but no tower or actual computer, they literally left it in their factory and didn't ship it. Awesome right? Anyway honestly if the shipping thing didn't happen I would still be rater please with them overall, I did state the negatives but thats just to show what did happen that was bad yet the experience overall was still above average."

"NCIX.ca has served me very well.

I purchased from them a computer a few months ago, and a monitor this time.

I was even able to use a prepaid credit card in combination with my regular VISA card, for an online purchase. I had read in various places that retailers in general allowed the use of these type of cards only for in-store purchases. The second possible hurdle, combining two cards for a single purchase, was dealt with swiftly by competent and friendly staff.

Also at some point I erroneously (my error) purchased two NCIX Gift Cards one late Friday night and was able to cancel it by email the next day, and received a reply and confirmation that it had been effectively annulled the following Monday morning.

I took NCIX three days only, with Purolator ground shipping, the cheapest option, before I received the monitor.

I'm happy about my new monitor, even though I did not get a chance to SEE it before buying because practically no retail outlet had any working screens on display to look at, here in Montreal.

"Last week, my MacBook Pro Hard Drive failed, so instead of reinstalling everything and hoping it would not happen again, i just decided to order a new hard drive from NCIX, a nice upgrade and a real low price. They accepted my price match very easily, this was great! All in all, i ordered on sunday night and received my new drive the following wednesday in the morning. GREAT SERVICE!"

"I have ordered products from NCIX previously and always ben exceptionally pleased with the high quality of their products, careful packaging, and quick delivery.

Today was my first experience in dealing with their RMA/returns department, however, and it sold me on them as my vendor of choice for all computer hardware in the future.

Despite ordering a product that said "no returns/refunds/exchanges" and then contacting them long after the 15-day standard return period, when I explained that I had made an error in my order and wished to return the (opened) product, they made the whole process happen, and it has been totally painless!

Most companies are at their worst when you want to return something, but NCIX was at their best."

"I think I've made my last order with Ncix. Past ordered have been processed and shipped the same day. This last order took days and it was still "processing". It took 3 days to get an email answer to a question,and a day to get a "ticket" response.
When I finally called to see what was happening to my order: the guy said it was put on hold. Ncix has my phone number and email. I think they should have contacted me if there was a problem.
In short, the quality of service has gone downhill at this company. I went on their forums,and mentioned this. An employee of Ncix practically called me a liar about how long it took to get a reply.I cancelled my order and reordered from somewhere else.

"Ordered a Microsoft Comfort mouse that came with a free gift (seen this in NCIX email sent to me on Jan 4th - "Hot Weekend Deals ") The free gift was a Microsoft Wireless keyboard - I needed both a mouse and keyboard so this was a great deal. I was sent an invoice that listed both items on Jan 5, 2013 and received a shipping notice on Jan 8 that only listed the mouse - not the keyboard. Logged into my account on NCIX.com and found that the invoice had been changed without my knowledge and the wireless keyboard removed. Called NCIX and was told that it was an error in both the promotional email I received (it should not have said "free gift" and on the web page when I ordered) after the customer rep consulted a manager - there was not a free gift included with the mouse so the keyboard was not shipped- could not believe that an order had been changed without contacting the customer. I have kept the mouse as I was not offered a return without restocking fee. Needless to say I will never buy anything from NCIX who does not have the common courtesy and respect for their customers to notify them that their order has changed. I understand that errors happen, but just brushing it off and expecting the customer to not care or to figure it out themselves is ridiculous.
Update - NCIX customer manager contacted me who apologized for the situation , sent me an updated invoice and shipped me the keyboard. Changing ratings to 3 stars as this issue was resolved professionaly and in a timely manner. "
