"Similar to others, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I purchased a pair of Metzeler tires from Motorcycle Superstore because they could ship the fastest, even though they were not the cheapest. A week after getting the order confirmation, no product arrived. Two weeks, no product. Called customer service, was assured they would ship a replacement quickly. Another week (3 weeks now), no product. Called customer service again, and was informed that they do not ship replacements (store policy), but they saw in the order history that I had been told they would ship a replacement. Their solution? Refund my order. I'm waiting for the refund..."
"Wished I had read all the other reviews! I ordered a $200 gift certificate on 5/16 to be sent to my son for his birthday on 5/19. Was told order would arrive (a gift card) on 5/18 or 5/19. Today is 5/20, 4 days after the order, and I receive an email stating the order was never shipped because they were worried about fraud of having a different shipping address from the credit card billing address. HUH?? It took these people four days to tell me they didn't ship my order?? HUH?? My son's birthday has now passed. I cancelled my order and told them of how crappy their customer service is. These people suck!"
"i have to agree with others, they claimed the part was availible and it would ship when ordered. instead it has been 3 days and the part has not even been sent to there whearhouse for it to be shipped to me. i will never order again from them and would not recomend anyone else buying from them . you can go to other bike dealers and get parts quicker and as cheap. i am ver disappointed, there customer service is just as sad as there sales and delivery is."
"My review is like all the others, ordered on 5-4-2011, paid extra for 2 day shipping, it is now 5-9-2011 and the item still has not been shipped. It might seem petty, but this is a company that survives by being able to pull from their warehouse and put items on a truck to ship. It's like a fast food restaurant that has to butcher a cow before being able to make a hamburger. In the future I will find a company that has a better logistics capability than billing capability. On a positive note customer service was nice and professional over the live chat albeit ultimately unhelpful. In this economy I truly do not understand how this company is still in business."

"I ordered from Motorcycle Superstore on 4/25/11 and paid extra for 2 day shipping. Shortly after, I received a confirmation stating that my goods would be delivered on 4/28/11. On 4/27/11 I contacted them to check the status of my order.
After 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES waiting in their hold queue, I was told that my parts SHOULD ship the next day 4/28/11 (the day they initially me it would arrive). I asked for some compensation for the late shipping, or perhaps an upgrade to a faster method, and they told me that this is STANDARD PRACTICE and they could not help me in any way. I asked to cancel my order so I could buy from somewhere else, and they told me they could not do so because it is now "locked in."
I don't normally write these reviews, but this is quite literally the worst customer service I have ever encountered. If you need motorcycle parts or apparel, DO NOT SHOP AT MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE. Revzilla and Denis Kirk have the same prices and exceptional service"
"On 3/26/11, I placed an order for a Shark RSI helmet shield. I received an email confirming the order that also stated that I would receive another email with the tracking number. To date (3/30/11), I have not received an email with a tracking number. I contacted Motorcycle Superstore via chat twice (the first time the "agent" simply stopped communicating with me after I asked one question.) I waited almost 3 hours in a que of 9 people, and finally asked 1 question, but received no response. The second time in chat (it only took 1 hour to wait for a que of 9 people this time), I was told that Motorcycle Superstore does not stock Shark RSI shields or helmets and that they are shipped from a supplier. Their supplier has not shipped the shield I ordered to them, therefore they cannot ship the shield to me. So, I wait in limbo while Motorcycle Superstore has no idea if/when they will receive the Shark helmet shield.
Be advised that IN STOCK does not mean IN STOCK. Motorycle Superstore acts as a drop shipping company. The most that Motorcycle Superstore could tell me is that they will email me when they hear something from the supplier. They wouldn't even give me a time frame how long it would be before I hear from them. "
"I wish I would have read these reviews before I spent any money with moto superstore. This was not my first purchase, just the first that went bad. I bought an expensive pair of heated gloves. Second time out, one glove stopped working. I was told by two different cust serv reps to buy another pair, then return the defective glove once the new one came in, because it would be a quiccker process. I did this and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get a refund. Imagine my surprise when the defective glove showed up on my doorstep. On the phone they said they repaired it. A letter inside the box said nothing was wrong with it even though they also charged me a repair fee. So now I'm stuck with two pairs of gloves. Why do I want two pairs of the same gloves??? I will NEVER spend any more money here again!!!"
I ordered two items from them on 12/16/2010 with their promise that my order would be delivered before Christmas. Not only was it not delivered, They sent me an E-mail stating that my credit card was denied. When I showed them proof that my card was charged, they said it was not really denied, but they could not "capture the funds". My bank told me that MS received my hard-earned money on 12/17/2010. I still don't have my merchandised and MS still has my money."
"Bought some Michelin Road Pilot 2's for my bike. The front tire had 1/4" of vertical runout. The customer service put me on hold indefinately when I told them about the problem. Finally talked to someone on their chat window at theri website. They told me I had to go to Michelin because they don't accept returns on tires once their mounted defective or not. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would say, stay away from these guys if your buying tires. I suspect they sell blems also."
"I ordered a motorcycle helmet that was pictured with a shaded shield. It came with a clear shield. I asked about it and they said it was policy to ship a clear shield and Bell had asked to use that picture because it looked cooler. I said I understood, and asked if they might cover shipping if I could order a shaded shield, they said no and referred me back to the item listing saying that it was noted that that shield would be clear.
They had changed the listing since my purchase.. highly, highly questionable. It would have taken perhaps 3 dollars to make me happy, instead they lost a customer. Too bad."
