"I suggest you phone or email this merchant to test their service before trusting them to handle your order. I ordered two trim pieces for recessed lighting in our bathroom. After waiting 10 days for delivery ($51.04 plus $7.95 shipping plus $3.85 handling), I discovered they are not safe for the intended location. I sent an email asking for advice with no response. They did not answer the phone the many times I called. They use the trick of making you press a number to hold for an agent. Of course, an agent never answers as you continuously have to press a number every 30 seconds. If you try to leave a message, their phone message box is full. They finally responded with a series of emails. The end result is that they accept no responsibility and say that WAC Lighting is the one stating that the fixtures are designed for damp locations. They still haven't provided an RGA number after many emails. The final straw is informing me that they will charge a 35% restocking fee for an item that they don't even stock and which was sent direct by the manufacturer. So, faced with costs almost as much as the merchandise, I am throwing the unsafe trims in the trash."
"Horrible. Ordered 10/27, credit card charged. Wait for item. Nothing. Tried to call. No one picks up. emailed. Response (very polite) "I SPOKE TO TREND ABOUT YOUR ORDER. THE LAMP THAT YOU ORDERED IS OUT OF STOCK RIGHT NOW. THEY ARE RECEIVING THEM IN ON NOVEMBER 20th. THEY WILL BE SHIPPING IT OUT TO YOU AS SOON AS THEY RECEIVE THEM." Problem is, their web site still says in stock. Wait. Try to call again. No one picks up. This is week after the 20th. Emailed again. No response. Emailed again. Response: "This item is in route to us from the manufacturer and is expected in early next week to ship to you." OK, so now the manufacturer ships to them not to me as stated below. At this point it is 11/27. Several phone calls. No answer. Several emails, then it is shipped. This is on 12/4. I finally received it 12/7. Item is fine and just what i wanted. And i agree with prior post about poor website design. Will I order from the again? No. I do not believe there is anyone in the office during business hours. At least no one picking up the phone. All email responses were done in the evening. All were polite, but not very helpful. Web site had this item as available the entire time i waited for it. This is not the way to run a business and keep your clients. "
"I really like these guys. They do exactly what they say they're going to do at prices that will keep you out of HD, Lowes, and WallyWorld for every conceiveable lighting product. They shipped on the day promised by UPS, and automatically enrolled the shipment in Quantum View. The case of halogen floods was double-boxed and very securely wrapped. The product was exactly what I expected.
The *only* negative I encountered with them was their balky web site. It demanded frequent unnecessary logins, and persistently entered the wrong count of items. I wanted 15, and it kept trying to sell me 30. Try to change the quantity, and it send you back to login again! It was needless to say, very frustrating. They reallly need to put some development into their e-commerce facility to get the bugs out of it."
