Whether it is improving the speed with which to find an order without a part number, or to find the needed parts, they are willing to assist customers to meet their needs. My order of grab bags, 20 drawer bin, professional electronic tools and complete electronics course book are great. The tools came in a keyed, padded metal box. The book and catalog came in sealed plastic packaging which protected them in shipment. Handy sticky refill labels were included to affix to the 20 drawer cabinet so that it would be easier to re-order the right part from them. <br><br>Jameco\u0027s website is informative and intuitive. Their catalog is extensive and concise. Their staff is courteous and concerned to resolve any customer service issues efficiently and effectively.<br><br>as my granddaughter gets more involved in electronics, and I use Jameco products in my garden, I will be a long time customer. <br><br><br><br>Their catalogs have puzzler questions. Their website and newsletters have training videos. One was on printing your own circuit boards. I wondered aloud how loud the fan might be since it will be in an office environment and Tony offered to grab one from inventory and test it. A few minutes later I had an email telling me how many decibels it was at different levels of load and at different lengths, as well as a helpful decibel level reference guide. Where do you get customer service like that?? They fill my orders incredibly quickly, have the best selection of soon-to-be obsolete parts (whenever I hear someone bewailing their inability to find an older part I immediately send them to Jameco), their customer service cannot be beaten (and is rarely matched), and their inventory of newer parts is truly huge; you can lose yourself for days putting together an order containing everything you want only to have to remove much of it so ya don\u2019t break your budget. Additionally, they warehouse 90-95% of what I am looking for. They ship the same day an order is placed (providing you place your order by 3:00 PM Pacific Time.) Their shipping rates are very competitive and I have never received any damaged parts.<br>If you do have a problem with a shipment, call them on the phone. They have always resolved any problem to my satisfaction.<br><br>Don\u0027t dismiss the words(IN STOCK.) What good is a part number or product number if your present supplier is temporarily out of stock. I confirmed this with UPS, but Jameco\u0027s CS reps kept telling me that my order would be delivered \u0027today\u0027 (on any day that I called). It is not Jameco\u0027s fault that the package was lost, but it is their responsibility to ensure that I get what I paid for (and to not lie to me in the process).<br>I finally got them to replace the order, and one part was missing due to poor packing. The case for the missing chip was in the box, but the case had not been closed, so it was empty.<br>These parts were for a school project.
