"I did my homework. I checked prices on the Web for weeks, generating a blizzard of files and paper work on every PC configuration that seemed to fit my requirements. My wife almost left me. But once I found JNCS my search was over.

I've purchased 6 PC's in my life, 3 of them were "customized" online. I won't mention any brand names but two were Dell's. Dell sells computers like AOL sells online service ... it just isn't for me.

OK ... I ordered my dream system from JNCS on 5/19/06. On 6/2 I called Scott and he said it would ship "today". I received unit on 6/6 but had to wait an extra day before I could set it up because the DVI to VGA adapter had been shipped separately. (??)

I set up the system. Looks great .... solid aluminum Cooler Master case. I had to load a bunch of drivers etc ... and I won't go into detail because of 5000 character limit here. My system was an AMD 64X2 4400, 7900GT GPU, 2 gig DDR2, on a A8N32SLI-Deluxe mobo, 2 Lite-On Lightscribe drives, Seagate 250, etc. ... NICE!

Unfortunately it was already out of date by the time I got it because AMD and Intel had "just" come out with new "kick ass" CPU's, and they were slightly cheaper than what I paid. Ok .... my bad luck. Should have waited a day or two before ordering. Story of my life.

In a nut shell - PC wouldn't boot at first. I had to reset BIOS to default settings and then it booted. It was booting slow, was crashing on games like NFL2006, DH2K5, etc. so I ran memtest on it. Failed. Called JNCS - tech said pull mem sticks one at a time etc.... did all that... still no joy - he said "send them back".

Research on the 'Net told me to dis-able Legacy USB in BIOS. Memtest showed perfect scores after that. My only other tiny complaint is that JNCS did not hook up fan/speed sensors to the mobo but opted to hard wire them some other way; and that renders PC Probe, temp sensors, etc ---- useless.

AMD has since released "dual core fixes" for older games, and NVidia's latest 90 series drivers have improved overall "joy factor" but this has nothing to do with JNCS.

Don't get me wrong ... JNCS builds quality systems and you will NOT find a better, quicker, more responsive tech support dept. Period.

My overall experience with JNCS (for a $2000 system) was the best deal I ever made as far as computer buying goes."

"I ordered a new system for college from these guys, for work and for play. I ordered it in May, and waited and waited, and finally in June, I got the shipping confirmation email. It turned out, because I had ordered a brand new processor that wasn't really available, they actually substituted a better one, just in the interest of getting the system shipped! They ate the extra $100 or so that it took to get it out to me.

After about a 2 weeks of use, the system stopped booting - it didn't even POST, actually. So, I talked to one of the techs, and we tried to fix it (I'm pretty good with computers) but I couldn't, so I sent it back. They replaced the defective part (the motherboard) under warranty and even reimburst my shipping cost to them.

I would highly recommend these guys, they know what they're doing, and they're straightforward if not always friendly on the phone. I'll be purchasing my next computer from this company, definitely."

"I purchased a dual Opteron workstation from J & N last month. While the initial process did not go as smoothly as I would have hoped, the team at J & N more than made up for it in excellent and reassuring customer service.

When ordering from their Web site, you're notified it can take from 5 - 10 business days for your system to ship. On the 10th business day I called to see when they expected to ship my order.

They apologized that they hadn't shipped the system yet. I ordered a specific case, and they'd received the wrong cases from that vendor. They described the cases they'd received, and said that if I preferred this new one they could ship my order right away.

I didn't really mind -- the thing's going to be sitting in a computer lab, not be some objet d'art. I said fine, they said, fine, and we both say goodbye.

Five minutes later the phone rings. It's one of the managers, calling to assure me I don't want this case. In his mind it's the worst looking case he's ever seen and wouldn't want me to be disappointed when it arrives. He suggested I go with one of the other cases the system can be configured with that they do have in stock.

I told him I'd really prefer the one I originally ordered. So, he offered to get the case I wanted over-nighted to them and rush the order out. Excellent.

Alas, there was another glitch. The system arrived, but without the DVD-RW drive I'd ordered, and the graphics card box was missing the DVI/VGA adapter.

I called, and do confess I was not polite in voicing my dissatisfaction. I wanted to speak to someone in charge, and was told that unfortunately both the owner (Jerry) and the manager were out, having taken long weekends. That worsened my mood. I told them I expected a phone call first thing Monday morning.

I got the call -- the very same day, from Jerry, from his vacation location. He promised to do whatever needed to be done to make matters right. The correct equipment arrived promptly, their tech support people walked me through the installation, and Jerry refunded me the initial shipping costs for my troubles.

Based on my personal experience, and the other reviews I've read here, I look forward to doing business with J & N again."

"I highly recommend this company!!! They know what they're doing, and I had the most stupifyingly excellent customer service experience with JNCS.com. I talked with their rep Scott and our conversation made such an impression on me, I wrote about it in my blog which you can read at http://www.therelief.com/blog (title: Shout Out to JNCS.com and a Lesson in Customer Service).

"I had some trouble with the JNCS' customer service rep. When I had to mail my laptop back for repairs, the R&M guy was absolutely rude throughout the whole process, which took over a month. However, after complaining to the "Issues" department, the owner personally called me and helped resolve the issue. Still not exactly sure what was wrong with the laptop, but I suspect it had to do with the optical drive not being inserted completely. Anyways, the owner agreed to reimburse me for shipping and handling and extended my 1-year warranty to 2 years to make sure my laptop would be covered for possible future problems and as gesture of goodwill for my inconveniences."

"I was recently in the market to purchase a new PC Tower and after much research to determine what I wanted I selected JNCS from a list of "custom builders" that I found on the web. Their Co's website was very user friendly and specialises in high quality, name brand products. Their site indicated that they are a member of the BBB and enjoy a great rating with that Organization. When it came time to order I dealt with Scott Noble who was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and eager to concur, advise or make alternate suggestions to my choices of components. He also accomodated a change of Motherboard from the standard choices of the Configurator. After ordering I was told exactly the time frame the build process & shipping was going to take and the Company lived up to their statements and delivered exactly as promised. Upon delivery by FedEx Ground I found the packaging to be extremely well done and heavy-duty. When I opened my new tower the quality of workmanship that went into putting my new "baby" together was exceptional! Now I have been enjoying my new PC for almost a week and it is performing wonderfully well. I have had reason to call Scott on 2 occasions for follow-up information and I can happily report that Scott's after-service has been as good if not better than before the sale was comsumated.
All of which leaves me with nothing more to add other than I would rate JNCS and Scott Noble as a "10 out of 10" will not hestitate to buy from them again and would recommend them to anyone. "

"Coming from Dell and Gateway, I found JNCS to have excellent customer service and excellent products at a decent price. I purchased a new PC w/ Asus P5WD2, 840 Pentium D, 2 Gb Ram, 2 x 200GB Drives, Nvidia 6600GT Video and was VERY happy with the purchase. I called them four times and they ALWAYS picked up after the second or third ring. I could always get the answers I seeked and they were nothing but up front with me. I did have to wait and my credit-card was billed day one. I did get my machine in 3-4 weeks because of the wait on the Pentium D chips. Everything was packaged securely and everything arrived undamaged. I will defenitely do business with them again. Highly recommend you do the same! Thanks JNCS. "

"I ordered a motherboard bundle on 2/18/05 it is now 3/14/05 I am still waiting......Mind you, they charged my credit instantly even though they did not have the part in stock.I ordered a AMD FX 55 ,I know these are in short supply but most places get them at least on a two week basis.Monarch Computers has the part and for fifty dollars more would give me OCZ Performance Ram instead of value Ram which I am getting from J&N.I would of course cancel my order but I would be charged 2.5% penalty by J&N and have to wait who knows how long to get my credit card charged back.I am sorry but I feel charging someone's credit card when you do not have the part is not good honest business. Most businesses that I have dealt with do not charge your credit card until they have what you have ordered.Monarch Computers is in my estimation a much more honest and up front company.I have ordered a video card and a psu from them and received both three days later.I will be doing all my business from them in the future.I blame no one but myself for all this, after all, if I would have checked this out with more scrutiny I would have noticed that Monarch is rated much higher.........The prices are better and they offer everything that J&N does and more,in fact the choices on motherboards alone are very good indeed .So,here I sit feeling very helpless and with almost no options. If you still deal with this company I truly hope you are treated better....
Update as of 3/15/05 I was notified this morning that the FX55 was in and they would send it as soon as possible. This evening I was notified again that my bundle was finished and sent Fed Ex,should arrive by Thur.Well, I have to be honest and say that I am very pleased at this new development.Maybe they are not so bad after all,
I will make final judgment when I get the bundle and see that everything works ok.I do want to be very fair minded about all this and do not want to bad mouth J&N if it is not deserving.....

Ok,I am going to retrack my original statement on J&N..My bundle arrived on the 17th and was very well packaged,I mean it was quite professional. They send you a short guide to follow installing and posting.I installed without any problems at all and my system is running very stable. This is a good company and I will consider them on my next upgrade.I still think that they should not charge your card until they have all the parts but I guess this is not the worse thing.I will call them to let them know that they do very good work, very good indeed........"

"We purchased an ASUS/AMD64 MB bundle and everything works great. This was not our first time of doing business with Jerry and the rest of the great staff at J&N. As expected we got the same fast, competent service as in the past. They do not always have rock bottom prices however the small extra cost is well worth it to do business with a great company like J&N."

"I purchased the Asus M6800N (barebone- no OS). I called and spoke to Jerry, Jason, and Dean several times to answer my questions about the system and their service. I received the laptop about a week ago and so far everything has been just fine. It is a beautiful piece of machinery and I'm very happy with my purchase.

My main reasons for choosing JNCS over other resellers (I looked up many many resellers) were their excellent service over the telephone and their reasonable price. I feel safer with a small company with high ratings and who will remember my purchase than I do with a large reseller who may give me the run-around when I'm in a time of need.

We'll see how it goes in the future. Thank you, JNCS."

"I recently purchased a new PC from JNCS to replace an ancient home PC. They upgraded some components of their Stealth 9030 series at reasonable prices. The product shipped when they said that it would ship and it has thoroughly exceeded my expectations.

So far my only contact with this company was a simple setup issue which was resolved in about 1 minute.

I want to send my absolute endorsement of this company and the people within it.

A. Mitchell"
