"VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS - BEWARE. Purchased AnexTEK SP230 PocketPC phone earlier this year. Had technical problem with internal batter. Mfg. suggested returning to place of purchase for repair. When returned I had the keypad attachment connected to the device. When I recieved the return, the keypad was not on the replacement device. The technical support person said he received the device and the keypad wasn't there - effectively calling me a liar. He said I could order a new one but why in the world would I pay for a new keypad when the stole my original one. So unless UPS broke into the box, took the keypad AND replaced it with the original non-keypad face-plate then someone is not telling the truth. SEE OTHER CUSTOMERS COMMENTS, THERE IS A TREND HERE. THIS COMPANY IS VERY DISHONEST. BEWARE."
"I received my laptop with broken keyboard they took 7 weeks to fix it. Then in few weeks again some other problem arised my laptop wouldnt boot this time they took 9 weeks to fix and to my surprise they took away my DVD writer and replaced it with CD writer and when i called tech support the guy was very very rude and hung up on me. Now they do not want to do anything. I feel cheated and they are thieves."
"Laptop was defective upon delivery. Keyboard did not function and I was unable to load operating system. The company provided no support I still do not have a working Laptop after almost three weeks. InterIshop refused to ship out another Laptop unless I paid the complete purchase price again for the second Laptop. I had to wait a week for a return shipping label to arrive a week for the shipping and probally another week or so to receive a new laptop. I know from experience that Gateway of Dell would have a new Laptop at my doorsteps within 24hrs if something like this would have happened. Like they say you get what you pay for and InternetIshop prices are great however you do pay a servere price for lack of quality and customer service. "
"This place is terrible. I ordered my son a very nice laptop. It arrived, I installed the software and he took it to school with him. After he arrived at school, he noticed that it didn't have the features we ordered. He was right, the CPU was less powerful, and the disk was smaller...I called them and after they did eveything short of calling me a liar said they'd look into it. Several conversations later I finally connected with someone who was able to determine based on my serial number that I was shipped someone elses computer. These were the options they presented me with. Send in the laptop and after they receive it they would send me another one (I pay shipping). Or buy a new one, they would send it to me and when I received it, I could return the first one (I pay shipping), then they would refund my second purchase. Needless to say, I opted for the latter so my son would have a computer. 60 days after he received the new one it started to shut down all by itself. So he popped it open and found that a fan blade was broken. We called and they said ship it to them....We shipped and they called after receiving it and said that since he opened it, the warranty was void and that they had to ship it to the manufacturer. It is now 3 weeks later and when we called them to get a status, they said that it was sent to the manufacturer 2 days ago... and that we would have to wait for a repair price... I have had nothing but headaches dealing with this company. They have the worst service of anyone I've dealt with in recent memory and every time I talk to them they spend more energy trying to make me feel small than thy do trying to resolve the issue. This place sucks. "
"ORDERED ON THRUS 4/1/04 RECIVED ON MON 4/5/04,NO PROBLEMS AT ALL,GREAT PRICE AND GOOD SERVICE,ALSO 30 DAY MONEY BACK"
"I purchased a pc Model FPCP30D (desktop, P4 3.06 GHz, 512 MB PC3200 DDRAM (400 MHz), 120 G HD, 16 x DVD-ROM drive, NEC Dual 4X-DVD +/- RW REC, nVidia FX5200 8X - 128 M RAM AGP, Soundblaster Live 5.1,600 Wass Subwoofer speaker system). I ordered the sys on Friday night, it was shipped Monday and delivered Friday. I am very happy with the system to date (only had it less that a week). The only disappointment was the speaker system. It is ok, but not what I was expecting. System was well packaged. I would order again and have talked to others that have been very satisfied with internetishop."
"Very satisfied. Ordered a top of the line 3.0G. Delivery was prompt and everything works fine. I like that they use name brand video card, cdroms, hard drives and memory."
"DO NOT BUY from InternetIshop. I returned a defective laptop under warranty. They would not return my phone calls for over a month. Then they tried to charge me $65 to repair a defective PC Card slot while the laptop was under warranty. They have the worst customer/technical service once you have bought from them. BUYERS BEWARE - you may wait two months to get a repair or replacement!"
"I bought a "laptop" from this company via Ebay. The computer worked fine for about 18 months then began seriously overheating. Every now and then it would shut down because of overheating while I was in the middle of something. I figured the problem was the powerpack because the part where it connected to the computer was very hot. I ordered a new powerpack from internetishop only because I couldn't find it anywhere else (not even best buy). The computer still overheated so I figured the problem must be internal (maybe a broken fan or something). I didn't want to ship it all the way to California (I live in NJ) so I brought it to a local computer service man to take a look. He took it apart and informed me that many of the components of this computer were not that of a laptop. Basically, it was a regular computer that was portable. I guess laptops have different parts. I don't know. Anyway, he said the computer has a design flaw that comes to fruition after about 18 months of use. This problem can be fixed, but it only offers a temporary solution because the overheating will occur again soon after it is "fixed". I contacted internetishop because I wanted them to handle the problem. They insisted that they were not responsible for this kind of a problem. They told me to contact the manufacturer at www.desknote.net. Sounds easy enough - or so I thought. While navigating the website of desknote I conveniently find that there is no phone number to contact them through. I send them an email explaining the problem with their computer and insisting they should send me a new computer because had I known about a design flaw I certainly wouldn't have purchased the machine. They send me a generic computer automated response informing me that I should check their warranty policy. What a joke. Typical of these no-name-companies - pass the buck to another company where you can't get in contact with anyone. It is never anyone's fault. My advice: don't buy anything from internetishop as I am sure they are aware that they are selling products that have design flaws that will not be realized until after the warranty has expired."
"I ordered a 1557G notebook over the phone from these guys. I placed the wrong order at first and I called back in a couple of hours and had it changed. No screw ups with the order or the billing, the saleperson got everything right. The salesperson was knowledgable and helpful. The notebook arrived pre-loaded and worked right out of the box. I verified that I recieved exactly what I ordered. So far my experiences with internetishop have been great. Keep up the good work guys. "
"I took a chance on this company, buying a server (P4-3.06 HGz (533 MHz) Socket 478 FSB Processor) with two 120GB HDs on mobile racks and one 120GB fixed disk. 6 months later, I have had a total of 4 hard drives fail, in addition to one fan going bad on a mobile rack and another main fan in the box itself. The keyboard has also failed. I assume, as others here have stated, that they are using cheap parts. Customer and tech service is sadly lacking in quality, to put it mildly. My advice is to find another vendor - these guys stink. "
"I ordered a laptop from this company over eBay, and have thusfar been very dissatisfied with the level of service I have received. For reference, the laptop I purchased can be seen here:http://www.internetishop.com/product_detail.asp?main_cat_no=LT&sub_cat_no=01&item=351C30E(split for viewability)Soon after I received the laptop, I had several issues with it. I was unable to resume from Hibernation in Windows XP, as I received a STOP error telling me that there was an issue with the driver for my graphics card, a 64MB nVidia GeForce 4 GO. I tried several things on my own, including checking that there was no spyware on the system and reinstalling the nVidia driver, both from internetishop.com and nvidia.com, before calling their technical support line, which put me on hold, then took my customer number, then told me a tech would call me back in an hour and disconnected me. The tech did indeed call back in about 40 minutes, and insisted that I uncheck everything in MSCONFIG, and reinstall the driver, despite my telling him that I had already done it (I do technical support for HP / Compaq myself; if a customer says they've done something, take their word for it). He then told me to reinstall Windows, despite it being practically a new installation. I did so, and it did not solve the issue, and the next tech told me to send it in to them (at my own cost). They then sent it back to me with a small post-it note attached:"HDD makes high-pitched noise sometimes, better reinstall Windows, with my testing HDD is fine"My guess is that they did no hardware service at all. After about a minute of looking around, I realized I had left the microphone on, and it was generating feedback. I muted it, and presto; no high-pitched sound coming "from the hard drive". Despite my knowledge that it wasn't an issue with Windows already, I went ahead and reinstalled Windows, and the issue persisted. Now, that's only one issue of a few, I had to fix an issue where the system would freeze for a moment every time I pressed a key myself (through a registry hack, if anyone gets the same issue, check your Event Log in XP). I also still have an issue where the PCMCIA wireless card often needs to be inserted several times before it will start working. Also, the laptop has a huge heatsink on it, which doesn't surprise me, it having a desktop P4 processor, but what does surprise me is the placement of the heatsink: right above the keyboard, in front of the screen. Not on the side or on the bottom like a sane laptop design would have, but on the top, effectively making it so that I cannot close the laptop while it's running lest it overheat horribly. These people sell crappy, third rate hardware. Their tech support is incompetent. Their repair center is incompetent. Their outlook on customer service is that they've already got your money, so they shouldn't bother providing decent after-sale support.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RESELLER."

"Hello Below is just one of the emails I’ve sent to www.Internetishop.com – I grown so tired of waiting for these people to take care of my problems. I bought a $1600 doorstop. The mouse doesn’t work – example. Touch it and it goes crazy and all different kinds of windows start opening up, the only way to stop them is to manually shut off the computer. Go to my documents and the whole computer freezes up. Let me backup a little so you’ll know that I bought this with no operating system – I then bought a legal issue of Operating system XP PRO. And “My documents” is just an exact copy off of my PC – and everything on my PC works fine. I had no one that could help me there. One minute they’re telling me to download a program of their site to fix the problem – it didn’t work. I tried it 3 times – it doesn’t work. They had me run every possible test or remedy. They even had me reinstall the operating system – guess what? The problems still exist. They’ve told me a supervisor will call me back – don’t know how they achieved that title since everyone who called me didn’t know more than the person before. Did I mention the last time I left a message for them to call me back – and their answering machine does tell you that they will – well lets just says I’ve been waiting for two months. I’m looking for two things – my computer problem FIXED – or another way to VENT. Until I can use this on a regular basis without any problems – the letters will persist. "Excellent pricing and very fast shipment. I ordered a barebones case+mobo+cpu. CPU was supposed to be INTEL P4 2.4GHz but the actual CPU shipped was a P4 2.66GHz. I don't know if this was intentional, but I'm not complaining. The packaging was a bit funky, but that may be because I asked them to pre-assemble the unit. "
