"VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS - BEWARE. Purchased AnexTEK SP230 PocketPC phone earlier this year. Had technical problem with internal batter. Mfg. suggested returning to place of purchase for repair. When returned I had the keypad attachment connected to the device. When I recieved the return, the keypad was not on the replacement device. The technical support person said he received the device and the keypad wasn't there - effectively calling me a liar. He said I could order a new one but why in the world would I pay for a new keypad when the stole my original one. So unless UPS broke into the box, took the keypad AND replaced it with the original non-keypad face-plate then someone is not telling the truth. SEE OTHER CUSTOMERS COMMENTS, THERE IS A TREND HERE. THIS COMPANY IS VERY DISHONEST. BEWARE."

Then in few weeks again some other problem arised my laptop wouldnt boot this time they took 9 weeks to fix and to my surprise they took away my DVD writer and replaced it with CD writer and when i called tech support the guy was very very rude and hung up on me. Now they do not want to do anything. I feel cheated and they are thieves."

"Laptop was defective upon delivery. Keyboard did not function and I was unable to load operating system. The company provided no support I still do not have a working Laptop after almost three weeks. InterIshop refused to ship out another Laptop unless I paid the complete purchase price again for the second Laptop. I had to wait a week for a return shipping label to arrive a week for the shipping and probally another week or so to receive a new laptop. I know from experience that Gateway of Dell would have a new Laptop at my doorsteps within 24hrs if something like this would have happened. Like they say you get what you pay for and InternetIshop prices are great however you do pay a servere price for lack of quality and customer service. "

"This place is terrible. I ordered my son a very nice laptop. It arrived, I installed the software and he took it to school with him. After he arrived at school, he noticed that it didn't have the features we ordered. He was right, the CPU was less powerful, and the disk was smaller...
I called them and after they did eveything short of calling me a liar said they'd look into it. Several conversations later I finally connected with someone who was able to determine based on my serial number that I was shipped someone elses computer.
These were the options they presented me with. Send in the laptop and after they receive it they would send me another one (I pay shipping). Or buy a new one, they would send it to me and when I received it, I could return the first one (I pay shipping), then they would refund my second purchase. Needless to say, I opted for the latter so my son would have a computer.
60 days after he received the new one it started to shut down all by itself. So he popped it open and found that a fan blade was broken. We called and they said ship it to them....
We shipped and they called after receiving it and said that since he opened it, the warranty was void and that they had to ship it to the manufacturer. It is now 3 weeks later and when we called them to get a status, they said that it was sent to the manufacturer 2 days ago... and that we would have to wait for a repair price... I have had nothing but headaches dealing with this company. They have the worst service of anyone I've dealt with in recent memory and every time I talk to them they spend more energy trying to make me feel small than thy do trying to resolve the issue. This place sucks.

"I returned a defective laptop the 2nd week of January, and didn't get it back until April 8, 2004!!! To top it all off, they even charged my credit card long before I got my laptop back. Can you believe it!

Avoid this company at all cost! Horrible and inconsiderate customer service. I called them 16 times, and they rarely returned phone calls.

"I purchased a pc Model FPCP30D (desktop, P4 3.06
GHz, 512 MB PC3200 DDRAM (400 MHz), 120 G HD, 16 x DVD-ROM drive, NEC Dual 4X-DVD +/- RW REC, nVidia FX5200 8X - 128 M RAM AGP, Soundblaster Live 5.1,600 Wass Subwoofer speaker system). I ordered the sys on Friday night, it was shipped Monday and delivered Friday.
I am very happy with the system to date (only had it less that a week). The only disappointment was the speaker system. It is ok, but not what I was expecting. System was well packaged. I would order again and have talked to others that have been very satisfied with internetishop."

"Very satisfied. Ordered a top of the line 3.0G. Delivery was prompt and everything works fine. I like that they use name brand video card, cdroms, hard drives and memory.

"DO NOT BUY from InternetIshop. I returned a defective laptop under warranty. They would not return my phone calls for over a month. Then they tried to charge me $65 to repair a defective PC Card slot while the laptop was under warranty. They have the worst customer/technical service once you have bought from them. BUYERS BEWARE - you may wait two months to get a repair or replacement!"

"I bought a "laptop" from this company via Ebay. The computer worked fine for about 18 months then began seriously overheating. Every now and then it would shut down because of overheating while I was in the middle of something. I figured the problem was the powerpack because the part where it connected to the computer was very hot. I ordered a new powerpack from internetishop only because I couldn't find it anywhere else (not even best buy). The computer still overheated so I figured the problem must be internal (maybe a broken fan or something). I didn't want to ship it all the way to California (I live in NJ) so I brought it to a local computer service man to take a look. He took it apart and informed me that many of the components of this computer were not that of a laptop. Basically, it was a regular computer that was portable. I guess laptops have different parts. I don't know. Anyway, he said the computer has a design flaw that comes to fruition after about 18 months of use. This problem can be fixed, but it only offers a temporary solution because the overheating will occur again soon after it is "fixed". I contacted internetishop because I wanted them to handle the problem. They insisted that they were not responsible for this kind of a problem. They told me to contact the manufacturer at www.desknote.net. Sounds easy enough - or so I thought. While navigating the website of desknote I conveniently find that there is no phone number to contact them through. I send them an email explaining the problem with their computer and insisting they should send me a new computer because had I known about a design flaw I certainly wouldn't have purchased the machine. They send me a generic computer automated response informing me that I should check their warranty policy. What a joke. Typical of these no-name-companies - pass the buck to another company where you can't get in contact with anyone. It is never anyone's fault. My advice: don't buy anything from internetishop as I am sure they are aware that they are selling products that have design flaws that will not be realized until after the warranty has expired."

"I ordered a 1557G notebook over the phone from these guys. I placed the wrong order at first and I called back in a couple of hours and had it changed. No screw ups with the order or the billing, the saleperson got everything right. The salesperson was knowledgable and helpful. The notebook arrived pre-loaded and worked right out of the box. I verified that I recieved exactly what I ordered. So far my experiences with internetishop have been great. Keep up the good work guys. "
