"I ordered an Airsoft rifle for my son on May 10th and kept checking the status via their website, only to continually see "order in process." I tried calling to no avail and conducted online chat twice. I also sent email inquiries and was told both times that it often takes 2-3 days for processing. It has been 11 days, and live chat person told me would ship "tomorrow" 3-days ago. Charged my credit card at time of order and finally reached a live person today (Brenda and then Nicole). Both provided conflicting information and ultimately said item was shipped today (how ironic). I told them to cancel order and they said it could not be cancelled. I contacted my credit card company and put charge in dispute. They credited my account and I will refuse shipment so charge credit remains in place. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!"
" Received R/C helicopter that was not new and was faulty. In fact,when I turned it on,it burst into flames. Got an RMA# and returned it. Nicole from customer service said returns take 1-2 weeks to process. After 3 weeks I contacted again and she then said returns takes 2-3 weeks to process. I never heard from them again. Nobody answers the phone or returns messages. Nicole is a skanky whore."
"i ordered a rc kite plane from hobbytron on feb 2 and still havent heard anything except that its on backorder now from my e mail.. can not get hold of them on the phone..its been over a month and im still waiting..i dont think i will ever get my plane.....well its now well into april. and i still havent heard a thing from them.. i have never been able to reach them on the phone.. not even once. and ive tried at least 1000 times.. please save yourself heartache and dont order anything from them... you wont get it anyway.. they took my money from my credit card the same day i ordered.. its now been over 2 months...nothing"

"Product arrived broken. Since it was a birthday present that I had ordered ahead of time, I didn't realize it soon enough. I just hung up with hobbytron rep (after long hold time) who wouldn't accept a return as the last day to return was yesterday. Absolutely not willing to be accomodating. Poor customer service and product, will never order from hobbytron again"
"I made order on jan 7 never did i get a confirmation email and or any kind of contact from the company. Luckily i printed my order sheet. I got the items today jan 15. I was sent whatever they felt like sending me i didn't get what i ordered!!! The email they give you on their website to contact is a fake and doesn't work. And when you call to get a hold of somebody no matter what extension you get nobody answers and all the voice mail boxes are full. This place is a scam DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! Then they have the audacity to put a sticker on my packing slip saying that I GOT A FREE UPGRADE! because my items were on a manufacturer delay. So i checked the website and the items they sent me were listed to be cheaper than what i paid and they didn't bother to refund me any of my money.I'm sure this will be a total loss. "
"I ordered a radio-controlled X-UFO for my grandchild. They did not pack it properly, and one of the wings got bent in shipment, and almost all the parts were scattered around inside the shipping box. I had to figure out how to re-pack the entire thing. I left a telephone message, an email, and finally a fax, too. It has been 2 weeks and no response. I would definitely never recommend these people to ANYONE!"
"TERRIBLE!They sent me a coupon since I am on their mailing list. Used this $5 off coupon and placed order for 2 items. Received confirmation email that order has been placed. A week later my order was cancelled and they send me a one line email. I emailed back and got no response. They have a live chat, the operator asked me how I can be helped, I explained the situation and the operator kept me waiting for 30 minutes (not sure if they were online). Finally I gave up.Stay away!"
"I placed an order for 1 Spinner Vertigo, 1 Super Cyclone, and 1 Flexboy RC Stunt ---I get 1 Fire Chariot free.What came in the mail was 2 World Shaking, 1 R/C Fire Engine, and 1 Hapy Vertigo Car. What was stated on the invoice AND packaging slip (which was supposedly QC) is 1 Spinner Vertigo, 1 Super Cyclone, and 1 Flexboy RC Stunt ---I get 1 Fire Chariot free.I called up customer service to find out what happened. They sent me directly to their online RMA. They did not even want to discuss the issue with me and/or assure the toys that I actually ordered will be shipped and the wrong toys they sent will be shipped back at their cost. No. I received no help from customer service.As I was putting the toys back into the shipping box, I noticed one of them looked kindof opened (frayed at the edges). This was after I filled out the RMA. Of course, since there is no real customer service, I couldn't even speak with someone and explain this.When my RMA came, I wrote to explain what I discovered. I also asked who is paying for this incorrect shipment. The answer is: me.So, let me get this right. This is a scamming, a fradulent company that sells online, then ships the wrong toys in open/damaged boxes so now the customers will have to eat up the cost because shipping it back will make this whole thing not worth the cost and trouble. Besides, since one of the toys came in an open box, they will not accept shipment back. If this happened to anyone else, you should go online and report them to the BBB. I did."
"I did not know that this web seller is cheat and ships old and bad quality items. They shipped me something which was very old with scratches and dents. Very bad customer service and overall shopping experience.NEVER buy from them."
"this company was by far the worst online company i have ever bought from. even worse than amazon (long story for a later date). starting off, the moment i ordered my airsoft guns, my credit card was charged. after a week, my order was still listed as "processing". seeing as how i was in a hurry, i called their customer service. bad idea. it took me 4 hours of calling to get a person. the phone was either busy, making the AOL dial-up noise that sounds like a bugs bunny cartoon, or i got a message saying that they had no csr's. when i finally got through, i asked the person about my order. as it turns out, half of my order, which consisted of various replacement parts, isnt carried by their company. ironic, seeing as how it is listed as "in stock and ready to ship" on their site. as she said this i was thinking to myself,"how long after charging my card were you planning on telling me that you dont carry $40 worth of product that is part of my order? never mind that the rest of my order wont ship until the parts, which they dont have, and never will have, are in the box." so i call in to cancel the order. which takes another 3 hours of calling to get a csr. after i finally get it taken care of, i recieve not one, but 3 emails saying that "your order is important to us" (bull $#!+) "some of your order isnt in stock" (the parts that dont exist) "we will ship the rest of you order when they arrive in our warehouse" keep in mind that i have already ben charged for this. "we thank you for your buisness" like i am ever shopping there again. to this day, after i had canceled the order, their company still thinks i am ordering it. i went to their website to check my order, because i still get emails about it, and it is still active! after all of what happened. if i get the package, and ill be amazed if i do, im sendin it back, and filing a complaint with the BBB.long story short, never, EVER, buy from hobbytron. no matter how good their deals sound."
"Based on a report of an item I wanted at a forum I trusted, I purchased from Hobby Tron. Bad idea. They charged my CC immediately, but the order status never changed from "Processing". I tried to contact them via email, online chat, phone, and fax. They never responded to any method I tried (and the phone was busy every single time I tried to call). I called my bank to dispute the charge and was credited my money back pending a resolution of the case. I just checked today to see what the order status was and the site said there was no record of me at all! I guess I'm glad I got my money back and don't have to fool with them, but can't believe there are companies like this out there."
"I agree! Horrible Customer Service. My card was charged the day I ordered and I have not received the Airsoft gun I ordered and paid extra shipping to receive by my son's birthday. I can't get a response from them by phone, email, or live chat. DO NOT USE HOBBYTRON! I'm reporting them to my credit card company."
"I believe this sucko company went out of business!! I returned a airsoft gun for my son a 2nd time. First and second one never worked. I was waiting for a credit (to purchase more garbage) becuase they refused a refund. I have not heard from them since nor is there any recording on their phone. No email answer either. I'm going to press charges. "
"Terrible experience!I purchased an Airsoft Rifle for my son for Christmas as it was the only thing he wanted. It worked twice then stopped working. They sent a new battery, but it still would not work. Over the next few months they took their time returning my calls and had us try a new fix-it method each time. By April I had enough, but they said "sorry, the warranty is up". I was persistent and they finally agreed that if I sent the gun in with all the parts they would look at it and if they determined it was a manufaacturer problem they would fix it at no cost to us. I enclosed a detailed letter with the return and several ways to contact us. I requested they please let us know what they found. A couple weeks later the gun showed up at our door, untouched and still not working. I again called and the manager told me that the person who looked at the gun did not make any notes about what he found and that she would have to speak to him the next day and would call me back in the morning. No phone call for 2 days, so I called again and again. Finally this manager called me back and to make a long story short, she claimed they were not going to honor their word. My son is out his main Christmas gift and I threw $100.00 out the window, not something we can afford to do.I do not know how they sleep at night."
