"Back in February 2013, my husband and I purchased 4 stainless steel appliances at the HH Gregg store in Gainesville, VA. We spent close to $9,000. We bought a refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop and double wall oven. Since we currently had all white appliances, one week prior to the installation date of our cooktop and double wall oven, we had a new stainless steel range hood installed. It was on sale for $425. After the installation of the cooktop, my husband noticed a gash in our new range hood. He asked the installers to write it up in their report. My husband dealt with the installation department (which are contracted through HH Gregg). Since the installers denied damaging the hood we were told there was nothing they could do. My husband reached out to HH Gregg - he spoke to the manager numerous times with no resolution. We recently went to the store to pick up a griddle (part of the cooktop - the one we got was damaged. We spoke to the salesman who has been nothing but gracious and who has been trying to help us out. He indicated that the regional manager would be in the store in the next week and the manager would speak to him about reimbursing us for our range hood. Needless to say that was almost 3 weeks ago and we have heard nothing. By the way the products we bought were LG and both the cooktop and wall oven had to be repaired less than a week after we bought them. Bottom line - HH Gregg in Gainesville may be a great store but their installers are not!"
