"I can't say enough good things about GenTech/1toppc. The MSI notebook I ordered was originally configured with a solid-state disk (SSD) and traditional hard drive with no optical drive. Before my system was built, Ken contacted me to find out if that was how I really wanted the machine built because the hard drive adapter that would replace the DVD burner was not a stock MSI part. Thus, with the second hard drive, the notebook might look a little strange with everything in place. After some consideration, I elected to go with the standard single hard drive/DVD burner configuration. Ken saved me about $300 off the already low price for the system. Once we had this straightened out, the machine was built and shipped in two days. It performs exceptionally well in games and other applications. I'm very satisfied with the notebook and doubly happy with the service from GenTech."

"In one word: astonishing! I'm just astonished that there is a company in today's world that offers such tremendous customer service and attention to detail. Ken has a great deal to be proud of (although he is actually very modest). I can not imagine a better reseller to deal with. I just hope they are around for a very long time. Now that they've spoiled me, I don't want to deal with anybody else, and I will go back to them for my next computer purchase...and the next...and the next!"

"Gentech PC is awesome! I ordered an Asus G73JH and I didn't want to pay for a bluray drive so I send an email to the support line hoping that in the next week or so they'd respond with the shipping date estimate. Within 10 minutes, Ken responded saying I could buy the A1 and downgrade to DVD for the same cost of the A2 system and even though we ordered at around 4:30, Ken worked with us through the credit card issues and ensured that the system shipped the same day! So far the G73 has had no GSOD/PSOD issues etc., probably due to the superb testing that these machines undergo at Gentech.

"GenTechPC comes as close as you can get to putting your desktop design into a laptop frame. I purchased the ASUS N61JQ with many options and was quite impressed with their quick service and delivery with all the details. My doubts about such a new laptop on the market being able to get all the pieces in place, but their engineers had all the answers and solutions, so my new N61JQ was up and running on both WinXP Pro and Win7 quick and fast. I'm now using GenTechPC for all my clients to fulfill all their specialized needs. They have continuously provided top service for me. "

"Although I did not get the PC I ordered as it was out of stock, I was extremely satisfied with their customer service. They kept me updated and when I called to cancel the order (since I would not get it in time for a gift), it was processed promptly and I received a refund check. I would not hesitate to do business with them again."

"I was struggling between two laptops and price was a consideration. I scoured the net looking for deals on the more expensive machine, always seeing GentechPC and a few other smaller companies priced a bit lower. I was skeptical but did my research and decided to call.

Within 10 minutes, I had the laptop ordered and promised to ship as soon as my cash payment cleared. Once done, it shipped immediately and UPS Ground did its thing. Received my laptop within days (Oregon, GentechPC is in California) in pristine shape, double-boxed as promised and factory sealed with paper copy of invoice enclosed.

Ken at GentechPC stayed in contact with me over email and made it easy to order. If you are looking for an ASUS, GentechPC states and many online reviewers agree that they are one of Asus' premier resellers.

Based on my experience, you can order with confidence from GentechPC. Wish I would have acted sooner instead of wasting days chasing prices all over the place.

"I normally don't write reviews unless the company's product and service level was either stellar or horrible.
I compared this laptop to all the i7's I could find and read many reviews.
In a Nutshell: GentechPC went far above and beyond my expectations and the ASUS N61NQ-A1 is amazing.

1st: The Asus N61NQ-A1 is a GREAT LAPTOP and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. The N61 boots up quickly and the graphics look great. The keyboard feels extremely solid as with the entire laptop. The HP dv7-3180 and the Toshiba A505-S6033 take much longer to boot and the keyboards are felt cheap (I have had keys pop off before).
I am not much of a gamer but I installed Crysis Warhead (a 3D 1st person shooter) and set it on the highest graphics setting. The video was smooth and looked great thanks to the ATI 1 GB Video Card.

2nd: I purchased the N61NQ-A1 from GentechPC on 5/5/2010 in the afternoon, upgraded the Operating System and they shipped it the SAME DAY!
I checked with the 3 reseller companies listed at asus.com and the ONE that offered the OS upgrade installed (not the Microsoft anytime upgrade that you have to install over windows 7 home) said it would take 5-7 days for it just to ship.
Did I say I ordered it in the afternoon and they installed Windows 7 Pro and shipped it that day?
Great Job Gentech! I will definitely buy from you again. "

"After ordering an ASUS G73jh-A2 from another reseller and told the wait would be close to 2 months, I emailed gentech inquiring about their wait time for this highly sought after laptop. Ken's estimate was about 3-4 weeks which is way better than 2 months. I immediately canceled my order with the other reseller and placed one with Gentech. I was expecting to wait the full month for delivery especially since I had some upgrades that needed to be put into the laptop. Suprisingly got an email 9 business days later that my laptop had shipped! Needless to say I am very pleased with the service and how fast they are able to get your order out the door! Thank you Gentechpc"

"I just made my first purchase from Gentech, and just wanted to share what incredible service I received.

Ken from gentech is an absolutely great guy, and he deserves an 11/10 for the service he provided. Very knowledgeable and helpful, he always responded to my many inquiries within a day at most, and his after delivery service has been excellent as well.

Can't recommend him more, I'm definitely a customer a life!

I can guarantee you definitely won't be steered wrong with Gentech!

"Ordering a pretty expensive computer from a small internet business had me worried, but they had the best price and i had read that they had amazing service from online forums. I ordered a G73 on 2/16 and received the laptop on 4/8. They were heavily back ordered but Ken Lee from GenTech PC will make the wait worth it. I was completely blown away when my email to this company was answered by Ken Lee in 5 minutes. I was expecting at least a one day turnaround, but it was an instant answer. Ken will work his hardest to work with the customer to help them. All of my questions to him have been answered, before the purchase about my order status and after the purchase. I recently had to RMA the laptop to ASUS and he even assisted me in setting up the RMA. This kind of customer service these days is really unheard of, and is really what makes or breaks a purchase. I highly recommend GenTech PC."

"I did my order in January and now I'm enjoying with an asus g73jh-a2 with blueray, intel pro wireless 6300, car adapter,and external hd 500gb... All perfect and I only paid in custom 36EUR. I'm from spain and I think i will be buy again in gentechpc, i hope they are always so perfect. "I bought an ASUS G73JH, one of the latest laptop from GentechPC. I live in Australia and this is the first time I buy a computer from overseas via the internet, so I was naturally a bit nervous. It was a great experience, however, thanks in particular Ken who was extremely helpful and accomodating in answering all the queries I had in a prompt and precise manner."

"When I decided to move to laptops from desktops, I bought my first laptop from another reseller. During that time as I read online discussion forums, I noticed that many users were raving about Gentech PC and Ken Lee, mostly about their excellent service, knowledge and responsiveness, excellent prices, not withstanding. Therefore, when it was time to upgrade, I decided to give them a try. Since then, I consider Gentech to be one of the best, if not the best online retailers I have ever dealt with. I wish I had known them before I bought my first one, then I would have gotten what I really wanted in the first place.

Since then, all my laptops (G2S, two Netbooks) have been purchased through Gentech. On my most recent acquisition, I was unsure as to what I really wanted, something lighter for travel or upgrade for my dated G2S. That is, until I spoke to Ken. He told me about the ASUS G73JH and this turned out to be the best laptop I have ever purchased. The bottom line is, if I have any questions, I don't hesitate to ask Ken.

I have recommended Gentech to friends and family (and most recently, even the hair dresser who cuts my hair), and all have been extremely pleased with the experience. I look forward to many more happy dealings with Gentech! "

"GenTech is a phenomenal company. They helped me get my G73JH (these days quite limited in stock) as quickly as possible, even though I was impatient. I ordered with them, but when I was told how long the wait might take I got discouraged and canceled my order. When they got their shipment a couple weeks earlier than I expected, they offered to reactivate my order and ship it that day. I was simply amazed that they would do such a thing. These guys are great; if you need to buy a new computer, be sure to check them out!"
