"I ordered a back ordered video camera from FuturePowerPC on 12/19/10. The website allowed me to order the item, even though I was not charged for it. It wasn't until 2 days later after I had contacted the company via e-mail to check on when they'd have the camera in from back order, that the company informed me that they had no plans to have the item back in stock and they would cancel my order. Why let me order it if you have not plans to have the item back in stock?? The item shouldn't even be on their web site then. Also, if this was the case, an e-mail should have been send to me immediately letting me know they no longer had the item. It shouldn't have waited until 2 days later right before Christmas AFTER I had to inquire about the order first. This is false advertising. They shouldn't be able to advertise an item they have no intentions of getting back in stock any time soon!"

"Ordered product and it was not shipped. Ruined Christmas. Called to say I needed to pay extra for WA state Taxes. Should have had it on the check out screen but didn't. Need to update shopping cart technology and ship ASAP. I did get a full refund by hassling with PayPal."

"I wished I would've looked more closely at the reviews before I placed an order with this company because my experience is very similar to quite a few of the other reviews. I ordered 2 wireless guitars for the Xbox 360 Rockband 3 game on December 3rd. On December 22nd I still had not received it and my shipping status was "ETA" (what the heck does that mean???). I called customer service to inquire about my order and the representative I spoke with said that it was backordered until January 10th!! I never received any notice regarding the backorder. I asked the representative if they sent anything out to inform me of this. He said that an email was sent on December 19th. First of all, I never received an email. And second of all, that was six days before Christmas!! Had I known it was backordered, I would have tried to order it from somewhere else. I am not pleased at all with the service I received (or lack thereof) and to top it off, the representative was very rude. Needless to say, I canceled my order and I will never order from this website again. I guess the good thing was that I was not charged for it, but now I have to find 2 wireless guitars and give it to my son and nephew as a LATE Christmas present. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!

"Put in an order one FULL month before Christmas. I was told it would ship directly from the manufacturer and told it would ship in 7-10 days. I did not receive it in time and no one picks up their phones or responds to emails."

"Placed order 12/16/10 - rush for Christmas. After order confirmation, watched for shipping. Called to get shipping date and was told that item was backordered and est ship date was 12/31! So not only was their inventory on website incorrect, but they couldnt bother to let me know item was out of stock!
So, went back to AMazon where item was back in stock, lower price and faster and less expensive shipping. "

"Placed order for Archos 70 - informed the item was shipped directly from Archos, and that the item was on back order - ship date has been pushed several times since then - informed over the weekend that the item was in stock, and that I should contact them during normal business hours however the contact number has been busy the entire day - clearly I'm never going to see this order fulfilled! Avoiding this reseller is strongly recommended!"

"Same as everyone else. I called for an order status and was told the item was out of stock and would be $40 more. Cancelled the order. I was told I had not been charged for the item and so far that appears to be correct. I'll be watching my account statement carefully though."

"The 4 1/2 stars shown on Google are misleading. This seller has a less than 1 rating out of 10 when you look closer at their recent ratings on resellerratings.com. I purchased a Nintendo DSI on November 25th (Thanksgiving) and received an order confirmation. It is now December 13th and haven't received it. I checked the order status and it says "order cancelled". I never received an email from them. I just called customer service and after an hour of busy signals I was told they cancelled the order because the DSI was no longer available. I asked why it was still being advertised and he said that it shouldn't be and didn't offer an answer as to why I didn't get an email about the cancellation. It seems that this website advertises low prices to bring people to their website. Very poor."

"Ordered on Nov 23, 2010. Just checked with bank after canceling order, charge never appeared with my bank. A week ago I called to check on order, and they said it would ship on Dec 8, 2010. But yesterday I checked the order status on their website, and it still said "ETA". I tried calling today but got the busy signal a few times, but finally got through. I've learned to press "1" for orders instead of the number for customer service. Yesterday even though I called around 5:20PM EST (they close at 5:30PM EST), I got hung up on. Today after I pressed 1 for orders, after listening to the automated filler commercial message, I heard someone press some telephone buttons and then I got hung up on. So I called again and this time reached someone, who after taking my order number, put me on hold, and then after a minute or two (any longer and I was about to hang up and call again) came back, verified my name, and then I told them to cancel my order. She told me a cancellation email would arrive within 2 minutes. I went to check my email and it was already there (that was fast, maybe too fast?). I don't know how they make money, except that they have my card number, so that's dangerous. I called my bank to warn them and check for any charges."

"I ordered the ARCHOS 10 Internet Tablet 8GB [501590] on 11/26/2010. I paid additional shipping costs to receive it within 3 days. As of 12/9/2010 I still have not received the item I ordered for a Christmas gift.

When I called customer service, I was told it was on back order until 12/29/2010. I asked to cancel the order since it was for Christmas and it would serve no purpose coming that late. I was told the order would be canceled and I would receive the cancellation notice within 10 minutes via email. That was at 9AM. I had to call back at 4 PM to request the cancellation again and was told it was caught in spam. I informed them it was not and I had checked prior to calling. I then asked for a credit and was told they had not charged my credit card and the order was indeed canceled. After ending the call, I received an email that said "Your order was canceled."

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing from them. Buyer beware!!!"
