"I have had good experience with Fry's local stores but not much with Fry's Outpost. On 11/29/2013, I ordered online a Canon camera. Fry's had the best price on that day. Not long after I placed the order, I noticed that Fry's did not use the credit card I wanted. I called the csr to change my credit card. The csr proceeded to cancel my order but was not able to place a new order because the camera was out of stock at the time. If the csr advised me about the possibility of not able to make a new order, I would not try to switch my credit card. Then I spoke with the supervisor and the same csr told me that a new order was finally placed successfully. However, this time the csr entered the wrong item. It was a Samsung camera instead of a Canon camera. I had to call again to cancel the new order with the wrong camera. I ended up with no order and no camera! "
"Frys.com is unable to match a competitor's price as stated in Fry's guarantee policy. The policy should be changed if this is the case. The competitor is Newegg.com. This is an indicator to me that Frys is not a customer first retailer.Frys.com before processing the order should cross check with inventory to ensure the customer there is available stock. Other customers on Facebook have complained the item is not available yet their credit card was charged. Frys.com should not charge the customer until the order has been filled.It is an inconvenience to the customer to buy from Frys.com but can't return the item through the retailer store. I had to pay to mail back the item to Frys.com and can't go to the store with the receipt to get a refund. Because of this I probably will not purchase from Frys.com again. Other retailers allow their customer to buy online and return if necessary at the retailer store. Frys should do the same.Overall I love your product and sale items. Frys should do more to retain your customer base. They is a lot of competition online so customer satisfaction is very important to retain your customer base."
" I spent an hour and a half trying to place an order on Thanksgiving Day. Twice I finally got an item into my cart, and when I went to the next screen, the cart had emptied. I finally gave up. I had the same experience last year. If you are going to offer online ordering on Thanksgiving again, you need to greatly expand your capacity."
