"Ordered 3 512MB SanDisk SD cards, received 3 Qmemory cards 23 days later. Paid for Priority 3-5 day Delivery. Items were shipped USPS First class.
Will not do business with this store again.

"I ordered two 1GB Kingston 133x Secure Digital Cards (KNGSD/1GBU). I received two QMemory 150x Secure Digital Cards. The invoice reflects what I ordered. Further investigation via internet reveals that Flash Memory Store.Com appears to be the only store to supply the QMemory Cards. There are no other references to be found via the internet for Qmemory except for a website that has no real contact information. The products I received are in unsealed packages, and the cards do not look as picture on the website. There are no external reviews for this company pro or con anywhere on the the web. The company's website boasts this to be the fastest card available. How is it possible that this company has never been heard of? I have sent an email and left a message with an answering machine. I am still awaiting a response."

"This is the biggest bait and switch I've ever come across. I returned the first Qmemory 4GB SD card I ordered. They replaced it with a SD card with no label whatsoever.

I wish I would have found these comments before I bought the card. I can only guess that I'm going to have to fight with the cc company to reverse all the charges.

"Flash Memory-Store is one of the biggest scams on the internet.Like a fool I didnt go to ResellerRatings first. It took almost 20 e-mails to get my order shipped and then they substituted items without my approval and didnt ship anoter item ordered. Now I will fight to get credit because I don't want any of their merchandise. My credit card company can handle them."

"Ordered 2 SanDisk SD memory cards, a 1G and a 2G card. The 1G SanDisk card was not even in the original SanDisk packaging, but in some generic Flash Memory packaging, so I have no idea whether the card is new or used. I did not receive the 2G SanDisk card, but a substitute 2G Q-Memory card, which I have never heard of, much less ever used before. I looked at the invoice in the box, and it charged for, and listed, a 2G SanDisk card. Then, when I tried to access the Flash Memory Store website to see what this Q-Memory card is, I received an error message that the page I was trying to access could not be displayed, inspite of my making several attempts through TWO browsers. Now I read reviews that this is not the first time this lying company has substituted merchandise, and delivered what was not ordered. This is my first and my LAST order. I will never order again from this company, if, indeed, it even is a legitimate company."

"I ordered an Olympus xD type H Picture card. They sent the less expensive type M card but still want to charge for the type H card. They want me to pay for return shipping when it was they who sent the wrong card. I asked about exchanging the card they sent for the card that I ordered and they said that they do not have it in stock and don't know when they will get it. Their website still says "ready to ship" for the type H card even though they told me that they don't have it. It is definitely bait and switch. "

"Buyer BEWARE!!! Switch and Bait SCAM going on here with FLASHMEMORY-STORE
AVOID this online store at ALL COSTS--the costs in lost $$$money$$$, time, and aggravation will be your own.

Ordered an Olympus 1G xD card and was sent a Fuji card instead. The explanation was that the shipping department wasn't able to contact me "in time" that they had to substitute the product I ordered for another one. As if it should be up to the 'shipping department' to contact me about such a proposal--instead of sales or customer service--who would presumable be able to do this "in time"!?!?! The customer care rep I began to correspond with told me to try the wrong product sent--and THEN send it back if I wasn't satisfied. (The Fuji card does not suport functions on my camera.) Fine print reveals a hefty restocking charge for returned products which have been opened! And of course customer must pay return shipping--and is required to pay shipping for replacement...what Flashmemory-store calls "exchange." This is a simple Bait and Switch SCAM. If only I had read the terms of their site--allowing them to make substitutions for the lamest of excuses. Like others posting here, I also wish I had read the ratings on pages like this one. If you look at ratings pages, you'll find that all of the legitimate postings are negative, and that the one- and two-liners, obviosly sent in by company employees in blocks, bolster fraudulently inflated overall ratings.

Get into customer care correspondence and you'll encounter someone who calls himself Alex Koval, promising things. Doesn't call. Belated e-mails. Will not cover return shipment for wrong items sent. "

" I thought it might be a good idea to update this review so other customers will get an idea of what they are in for. Here it is December and after numerous inane email exchanges with the infamous "Alex", he finally agreed to replace the junk MMC card he'd sent me with the Transcend part I originally ordered. They sent me the same defective MMC that I had returned (a no-name defective part with holes in the edge-connector). I emailed him again and true to form, have received no response. I gave them a bad review on bizrate, but they still appear as "unrated". My suggestion is that all you other folks who have been cheated also contact bizrate (and other online ratings) to let them know what's going on. They have an extensive history of cheating and lying to customers. I don't plan on just letting this go and neither should anyone else who's been cheated. The only way this is going to stop is via a class-action lawsuit where they have to pay damages to each and every customer they've stolen money from.

original review:
This is not a complete review, because though I ordered a Transcend 2gB MMC card back in August, here it is November & I still don't have it. The first card they sent was defective, the first replacement was 256mB (not 2 gB), the 2nd replacement had a hole in the case and contact fingers and is slow to the point of comedy. Did I mention none were Transcend parts? I still haven't got a reply to my last 2 emails. I simply requested that they agree to send me what I paid for (can you imagine a customer being so unreasonable?). Best advice is to not do business with these folks."

"Avoid like the plague!

I ordered a 2GB Kingston SD memory card from these people and I have yet to receive it. I can't get in contact with the because their toll free # is just a voicemail!

On top of that, their confirmation e-mail said I should be charged 60.25 $CAD but instead I was charged 72.75 $CAD!!!

The e-mails I've sent have all gone unanswered. Even if I do receive my SD card, I will NEVER do business with them ever again.

Avoid like the plague!"

"I wish I had seen these reviews. I also just received a Qmemory card when I ordered a Kingston! what is this about? It took 2 weeks to get here - just at the outer end of what they promised. I bought the card to take on a trip to china so it is now probably too late to return it and get another one! I have emailed them and waiting for a response."
