After running the cable and terminating the jacks, I used my personal network tester to test my lines and kept getting readings saying there were shorts and miswirings. Needless to say I wasn\u0027t thrilled - about 2700\u0027 of cable laid and now I\u0027m thinking I have bad cable and would have to do it again... As it turns out, after using a spare Patch Panel to check my wiring, the problem is that the my personal network tester(IDEAL LINKMASTER)isn\u0027t compatible with the Patch Panel\u0027s built in circuitry, which was casuing my faulty readings. I called up FIREFOLD and spoke with the manager, and was told that it wasn\u0027t his problem because his network testers that he sells work with the panel. I don\u0027t have a problem with that but there is no disclaimer or note saying that when reading the specs of the above-mentioned panel. <br>He really wasn\u0027t too understanding to my problem and didn\u0027t seem to interested in doing the right thing by me and pay for the return or even offer a discount on a replacement. But, due to my deadline I ordered the replacement panel and RMA\u0027d the original Panel. I didn\u0027t have any time to shop around... Although they have fairly decent prces and great selection I am not too sure if I will order from them again - just on principal. It\u0027s not my fault that there wasn\u0027t a disclaimer.
