"NEVER, EVER AGAIN! I purchased a groupon and thought it was the greatest deal...not! Apparently there are SPECIFIC arrangements you can use with the groupon, "specific" as in which ones FTD chooses! Inconsistent customer service, VERY RUDE representatives AND management. Will never use FTD again."

"Brilliant! My mum loved the flowers, the box it came in was very 'posh' and she said it was packaged very nicely. Great choice of flowers, much more sophisticated than other websites. Although shipping was a little pricey (ordered for Mother's Day) it arrived on time and was not ruined in the shipping process.

Will definitely use them again! Much better than 1800flowers and proflowers."

"I was unpleasantly surprised when I found out that my order was delivered one day earlier. As it turned out, to get delivery in the exact day, I was suppose to order the delivery next day after the day I needed. How was I suppose to know about it????? Furthermore, I couldn't get tracking number and when I called, FTD representative was speaking with a strong accent and I barely understood what she was saying. "

"Never again. I ordered flowers for a customer's birthday. FTD left a voicemail for me the next day regarding the order. They gave the wrong phone number, the wrong order number, and I could barely hear them. When I returned the call, I had to give them the order number, my phone, my address, the last digits of the credit card number, the recipients name, number, address and phone. It felt like 20 questions. They put me on hold to call the local FTD florist in St Louis MO, then tried to tell me the florist was not open on Saturday. I find that highly unlikely as Saturdays are prime time for most small retail companies. I demanded a manager, who told me the florist tried to deliver to the recipient at 12:30 pm, but the company was closed. Nonsense. They either did not show or did not ring the doorbell. The people I spoke with claim to be in Downers Grove, IL. I believe that is a lie. This is clearly a phone bank located overseas. I should have known better. I also had a problem with them 2 years ago with a Mother's Day floral order. At least they agreed to refund my money."

"I purchased an exclusive Better Homes & Garden Arrangement for My sister's birthday. It was mostly purple roses and lilacs with a beautiful blue vase. I chose the best upgrade option for this arrangment.

She received an arrangement thrown together, nothing like the image represented. Pink Roses and White Filler and a cheap, plain glass vase you would get anywhere. I understand there will be substitutions, however this was a design that is exclusive to FTD and it was almost $100. The arrangment my sister got wasn't even close to that value. Why bother to have Designs people can go through on the site, if it is nothing anyone would receive??

I emailed them and I got a very generic, sorry, we will try harder next time response. Sorry, there won't be a next time. This company along with 1800flowers is not a company I would reccommend to anyone. Just call the nearest florist to the destination and save yourself money and disappointment. "

"My step mothers sister passed away and she was devastated ..I thought well I will send flowers to her in Ill. They were going to be for 3 days only..ordered the flowers And they never showed up that day although I paid straight for same day shipping..emailed them the morning of the 26th just a automated response saying thy will call me in 24hrs..at noon still no word on the flowers finally at 2pm I called them..my order was never sent out..they had no idea why..and said it wouldn't be able to be delivered today because its too late..but they can discount the order and deliver Tom. 04/27/12 my father and step mother leave sat..soo the after the delivery..no matter what they do I am very disappointed and will never use them again..the worse day of her life and wanted to raise her spirits a Lil..thanks FTD :-("

"Many years ago I had ordered online from them. And I never realized that it's not a local florist delivering the flowers. That means that the flowers get delivered in a box (FTD box) but nonetheless in a box.

I would attach photos if I could, but the photo of the flower arrangement I bought looks VERY different from what actually was sent. I litterally looks like they threw in the 17 stems, with no real arrangement, into a vase. Now I do have a realistic expectation that the photo that you see online will never be the same as what you get, but it should at least resemble it somewhat.

I won't be ordering from them again."

"Fraudulent representation, Trash flowers, Disrespectful presentation that is what you get thru FTD, I ordered sympathy flowers for a funeral. Chose the Better arrangement of white Calle Lilies and white roses with upscale greenery ($122 plus handling etc).On the "free card" I entered respectful,heartfelt words&name.FTD delivered white Stock (usually a filler) tiny Mums and little greens-looked like weeds thrown in a glass.BLANK CARD and no name. Mourners had to call to see who sent it.Flowers similar to a $49 arrangement but not arranged.How do you undo the humiliation and seeming disrespect to the family of the deceased.So far no response to my complaint which FTD says will respond in 48hrs, Also no refund pending.L/L fraud-substitute cheap arrangmnt but charge full price for the more expensive one ordered. "

"Terrible experience...

I ordered a bouquet from FTD to be sent to my girlfriend in valentine's day. She lives in a different state and thought the flowers will brighten her up, since I couldn't make it to her that day.

I was told during ordering that the call will be made to her before delivery of flowers. Well, there was no call when the delivery was made in the middle of the day. Upon not finding her at home, they left a note with address to get it the next day. When she got to the place, it was shop specific for funeral decorations.
Do FTD ever check on their local florists or is that the only florist they found? I am disgusted at having her to pick up the valentine flowers from a funeral florist. I am never gonna deal with FTD again... period."

"My experience with FTD.COM was a pleasant one. I was very apprehensive of FTD after reading some of the horrible reviews.



1) My order was delivered timely, the flower arrangement was pretty close to what was ordered.
2) I got an email confirmation of the delivery shortly after the delivery was made.
3) I had signed up their Gold membership priced at $39.99 for a year during my Valentine's day flower order where I used Groupons too.
4) Price was reasonable and no shipping/service fees.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Will do business again with them."
