"more than a months has passed by sense I order 2 custom plates from European plates. I got an order confirmation e mail and a week later I got an email from a staff member called Jeff saying that my order was in production but still no plate. I called the number they have posted in their web site but its no longer in service. I think I got scammed 60$"
"My wife placed an order on November 21, 2010 and went weeks without any notification. Nothing saying that they are busy because of the Christmas season or anything. We finally got a return email from Tyler on Dec. 5th saying that it is being shipped out priority this week. Ummmmm, what is priority because it is now Dec. 19th and we have gotten nothing. No tracking number, package, or a return email after we did not get it. Just get an automated response on phone and no returned emails even after sending it to every possible email listed on site. They charged our card the day of order and there is no communication on their part. Can no believe you could run a business like this. Wish I would have seen these reviews before hand. No chance of getting this by christmas now probably! "
"On 27 July 2010 I placed an order for a custom plate and holder. I received an order confirmation that day. After no news for a few weeks I asked for tracking information - on 6 August got an e-mail saying the order was in production and I would hear ASAP about shipping. Nothing but silence... Now, here it is more than 3 months after the order was placed, and my credit card was charged the full amount, and no plate and no news. Three e-mails have gone unanswered. Telephone calls simply get you an automaton who suggests you e-mail (!) for information. I suspect I will never see either the plate or my money. If you are looking for European-style plates I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I will be sending a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, for what it's worth. Quite the scam artists, these chaps. "
"I first placed an order with European Plates on 8/27/2010 but did not receive a confirmation ... tried to call (no call back) .. emailed.. no response. I assumed that the order was not placed or did not go through because I did not receive a confirmation. SO on 9/10/2010 I placed the same order again. This time I received a confirmation email. I've since tried to speak with someone twice and emailed numerous times but never reached ANYONE!!! No I've been charged twice for $30.24 and never received any merchandise. I am going to stop payment on my credit card because they cannot even simply respond to a request!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! After placing this post I was contacted by the Company.... finally received my license plate and a credit for what I had requested. Why it took so long for them to respond is beyond me .. but they did the right thing!"
"This company does not adhere to its own advertising on its web site. I ordered a plate in December and still don't have it. I am in the military and moving out of state. I will probably never see it. The better business bureau is brimming with complaints. Don't use them. Paypal was absolutly NO help either. They don't resolve disputes with merchandise that never arrives. Lovely. "
"It took 1 week to change the status of my order for 3 measly stickers (that were in stock) purchased from this company. I wrote at least 2 e-mails asking for them to send the merchindise but never recieved any response. After the second e-mail I see it changed from "new order" to "in-transit" without any response to my e-mail. As of 2/27/06 I still have no idea if it was really sent out or not. For 3 stickers I wouldn't care if they just slapped them in an envelope with a stamp, but I am upset of the lack of response on whats happening.Still waiting, and waiting....."

"I am quite dissatisfied. In short, I am still waiting for merchandise I purchased as a gift for my brother on Christmas 2003. Needless to say, it is already May, and I still have yet to see the plate that I had ordered.The plate I ordered was not in stock, so I agreed to wait for new ones to arrive. A month of waiting went by, and I was told there was still nothing in stock, with EuropeanPlates still holding my money.4 emails and 39 days later, I inquired about my order, and the company owner told me the stock had arrived and asked me where to ship it. I provided the information promptly.Yet another month rolls by, and I have yet to see the plate. I contacted him (informing him of my intentions to file with the BBB and FBI internet fraud), and he told me he's not sure what is wrong, but would look into the situation. Without hearing response from him after 5 days, I emailed him again.I can make 12+ emails available upon request, as proof, including read receipts.The phone number listed with the BBB does not work, and the website has no phone listing.Update: On 4/27/2004, I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau of Western Washington [ http://www.thebbb.org/commoncomplaint.html ]. (This 'company' is based in Seattle, WA.)Update: 05/08/04, I am still waiting for a response from him (24 days since last response), and waiting for my plate to arrive (138 days since order).As of June 2004, the plate finally arrived. In all, this was a 6 month ordeal to get any merchandise from this company, and I will NEVER do business again."
