"DO NOT SHOP at this store!!! I ordered an "open box" toner cartridge, expecting an unused toner cartridge which had been opened and the box resealed but otherwise a new, unused cartridge. What I received was a nearly completely used cartridge (verified by weighing) with the inner sealed wrapper missing and a plastic protective strip broken. The RMA policy is terrible and the nonrefundable shipping AND HANDLING charges so high that it is uneconomical to return the cartridge for a refund. Furthermore, since the original sale was fraudulent, I have no confidence that the store would refund my money if I returned the cartridge; so I will use the 30% or so of remaining life and eventually recycle the empty cartridge properly. STAY AWAY from THIS STORE!!!!!! "
"Unscrupulous company. I ordered a power supply for my grandaughter's Gateway Laptop. Unfortunately it was the wrong size plug even though the part number was the same as the original power supply. I called E-Tech Silicon and ordered the correct power supply. At the same time I was issued a RMA to return the original power supply for refund. The original power supply was shipped back at my own expense and delivered on to E-Tech on 9/2/2010. This was well within the three days sited by E-Tech. It is 10/27/2010 and I have yet to receive a refund, even after multiple calls and e-mails.I have referred this matter to BBB and also my credit card company.I wish I had read the reviews at www.sellerratings.com prior to ordering. I would never have ordered from E-Tech had I done so based on the multitude of similar complaints. Lesson learned!When a company takes your money with no intention of providing goods and or services for that money, that in my mind is theft.Stay away from this company."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! They will send you junk parts and claim that you broke it. When you call and ask for help they won't listen to what you have to say and will lie and hang up on you. If you need to return a part then will tell you on the phone you can request a return shipping label, but when you submit a RMA request, (which they won't give you unless you call and ask what happened to it) they will tell you they don't pay for return shipping. So I bought a laptop motherboard that was DOA and they wanted me to pay to ship it back, wouldn't refund the money I spend to have them ship me a broken part, and then when I sent it back they claim the box was damaged when it wasn't. I am working with my credit card company to get my money back. If you don't believe me, check out their BBB rating. I am going to lodge a complaint with them next.Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these people. They are dishonest liars!!!! It is not just me, you can see a pattern in these reviews and the complaints with the BBB."

"I got the adaptor form HP DV 2000. Cost wise and the quality wise both are excellent.I ordered it by Thursday, it was shipped on the same day, I received it on Saturday. It was quick and at the same time cost wise when compared to other products in the market is far better and competitive. I love their service since it is speedy and perfect quality product. "I remember it was in the May 20,2010, We were planning to go for a AMYWAY meeting to LA, that was time Toshibha laptop adaptor broke down due to some power circuit failure. We browsed over the internet for the model, it was relatively hard to find after thorough search I found E-tech having the same model Toshibha adaptor. I dropped in there personally hand over the laptop to them to verify if there is any other issues because of which Power adaptor got broke down. They took it and tested it and fixed the minor issue related to some component level problems and then they gave it to me to use new adaptor. So I would wish success for all their services. They provide excellent customer service because they always consider the time and cost invested by the customers should be valued. By not only providing the adaptor to use, I am so happy they sought out the underlying problem and so that I dont have invest on next new adaptor again. I would have definitely ended buying another adaptor if had I not seen them in the internet search. Great service."
"DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE.Sales people are not well informed. Part description vague and when questioned about specifics the sales people said part was correct. Upon shipment, obvious part differences where overlooked. Bad experience, DO NOT shop here if details and accuracy are important from a vendor.RMA HELLTheir refusal to refund 100% of their websites incorrectly identified parts totaling $62.86 has cost them thousands in loyalty dollars.Great business plan."

"Do not purchase from this company. I have never written a review about anything on the Internet but unfortunately I feel it is my responsibility to let others know about this company. I purchased a "new" fan for my IBM T42 from E-Tech Silicon Valley on September 23, 2010. Once the fan came I scheduled a computer tech to install the fan but upon unwrapping it he said it was obviously used and once he installed it it did not spin. I know it is not because of my computer because the computer still spins the old fan, it is just loud. I sent the fan back with a letter explaining the situation. When I did not hear from them I called and they told me I should have filled out an "RMA" and wait for approval before I sent it in. there was no documentation in the packaging about filling out an "RMA" but they said I should have found it on the website. I then filled out the RMA and got a notice they received it on September 2, 2010. In the meantime I received the fan I paid MY money to return to E-Tech. It was stamped "REFUSED". They did not even open the box. I called the customer service and they informed me that I should have filled out an "RMA" and what until it is approved. Well, it is September 8 and it is still not approved. Meanwhile, I not only had to pay the tech to take the computer apart but also put the old fan back in. I still have to pay to return it AGAIN. I still have a computer that sounds like airplane and I am waiting for the approval of the "RMA". Unless you want to go through this experience, please exercise your free market power and buy from someone else so that unscrupulous companies like E-Tech will go out of business or change their ways."
"Do not order from these scam artists. I ordered a used toshiba power adapter from them which arrived dead which I confirmed with the notebook and multimeter. After doing their song and dance number for RMA and waiting over 30 days to get my money back they are now trying to charge me a restocking fee on the returned item saying that their return department verified it working on return. I have been working with computers for 15+ years there is no way it worked. They are most likely going to sell the dead adapter to another customer to collect their restocking fees just like they did to me. Judging from the reviews here this company makes a living off of scamming people."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!I Purchased a replacement keyboard for a toshiba laptop that was "New"... when i got the item it was clearly used. I tried it anyway and low and behold it didn't work. I got an RMA from the company and sent the item back. About 8 days later after returning the package the item cam back marked "refused". When i tried to contac the "live support" the message i got was "There are no operators available at the moment. If you would like to leave a message, please type it in the input field below and click "Send" button" which i did but didn't get any response. I tried to call them but no answer. I sent them an email and got a quick reply. I was told the item was sent back because there was no RMA number on the outside of the box, to which i replied yes there is, it is in bright purple. Then i got a response that the box was damaged to contact my carrier. The box is not damaged. They sold me broken junk and are refusing to take it back and refund me. I have filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company and the BBB. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!"
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered a replacement base cover for my IBM laptop because mine was cracked and the part that was sent to me was also cracked!! There obviously isn't any QA when orders are sent. When I requested a replacement part, I was told that I would have to pay for shipping/handling to return the cracked part and pay shipping/handling AGAIN for the replacement order. Why should I have to pay for their lack of QA?!?! You have to log into the website to request an RMA and there's some gliche so after 3 phone calls to the company, I was finally able to request an RMA. When they email you the RMA instructions, there are 13 bullet steps listed. After paying for the 25% restocking fee and shipping the cracked part back to them certified or FedEx/UPS, I will have lost most of my refund amount. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOUSY COMPANY!!! *** UPDATE *** Even after receiving an RMA and returning the product via their prepaid postage label, my return was refused. The stamp from USPS says "REFUSED Postage Due", but E-Tech has informed BBB and my credit card company that it was refused because the package was damaged when they received it. The part was wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a box and then placed in another box just to make sure it was packaged properly. The outer box is slightly crushed and they just assumed there was damage. How convenient for them to say that the part they sent me damaged was damaged when being sent back to them. Just another scam to rip off customers!!"
"I ordered a replacement LCD screen Toshiba LTD121EX9D price $149.99 + FedEx to Guam $88.35 on 3/23/10. When I received the package on 3/30/10, I realized it was the wrong item B121EW03 and would not fit on to my laptop. I immediately contacted the company but because it was Easter weekend, did not get anyone on the phone who could help me. I received the RMA on 4/1 but because I did not want to pay another $88 to ship the product back, I asked for a return label from FedEx, as this was not my mistake but the company's. I was informed they could not. I persisted on some sort of reimbursement and finally got a verbal ok (according to Rina) from the manager to get my shipping costs reimbursed on 4/7. I mailed the package on 4/7 with the original box secured inside the USPS box and insured the package. On 4/21, package was returned to us as "REFUSED". Shipped it again on 4/23 in another box that was not DAMAGED but they still REFUSED to accept it. Tried to contact company again and was told the because the USPS box was damaged, they could not accept it. Even though the product itself was INSIDE the USPS box and the merchandise was clearly undamaged. I disputed the charges with my credit card company but was refused credit 60 days later. I can't claim a loss with USPS because they saw that the box inside and the merchandise was UNDAMAGED. I have no way to check if indeed the product was ever working or is now damaged because it's the wrong part! I have never had such an experience with any company in the world! I now see others have been mistreated by E-Tech and are now stuck with merchandise they can't use because it was broken, sent the wrong part, or simplay can't return it. I wish I had known that - I live 3000 miles away and FRUSTRATED. BBB can't do anything, no one can, it seems at this point."
