"The people at Excaliberpc.com are absolutely amazing. Not only were they one of very few sellers to stock the new Asus 1018P-PU17-BK, but they were also selling the high-end version that included BT 3.0, USB 3.0, the Fingerprint Scanner and other such additions. The US model did not end up coming with the fingerprint scanner, but that didn't stop Excaliberpc from making my purchase absolutely amazing. They at first offered a full refund for the error of listing the feature and not including it. We worked out a partial refund equal to buying a fingerprint scanner. The whole process was quick, painless, and certainly the best customer service I have ever received from a seller. Highly recommend!"

"I received the package in Romania country in very good condition, in 10 days from the order.
The wire transfer is 40$,the shipping cost is 80$ for package weight about 4KG.
And incredibly here in Romania, I was again charged with 24% VAT."

"it was june 7 when i first order a monitor from them, it's asus ms238h. I used an international credit card and they told me that I should provide some company email or any email that is not free like yahoo or gmail so they can proceed with the shipping. So I gave my dads email cause it is his credit card. I just received my monitor and speaker this june 18 2010, they shipped it june 10, 2010. So for the service I think they're good."

"The worst experience I ever had in my life.
Order on the 7th of Jan with the promise of a quick delivery and it is still not with me.
From their point of you because Asus and USPS fault.
From mine, they chose their partners and they get the money as well the responsibility.
Now I can't even ask for a refund until they will not finish their investigation. Unbelievable!

After I wrote my review I have been contacted by the shop that again blamed me or USPS. No refund, no excuses.

BTW I am a freelance and I invested my savings on the laptop because I need it for work and as many of us I have chosen that shop for the good reviews. For this reason I'm writing now here.

After my bad review I have been contacted by Steve that however had wrong info from his colleague.
So after I explained to him all that happened he apologized and started to be very proactive. First, he kept me informed on everything that was going on. Second, he proposed possible solutions. Third he acknowledge the mistakes and I believe he started to fix them.
Overall I think that with a competent sale person like Steve from day one, I would have been an happy costumer.

"Ordered a T101MT netbook/tablet. Website said it has Bluetooth. It arrived, but did not have Bluetooth. My initial 3 emails and 1 phone call were left unanswered.

I called again today and got through. I was offered a $30 credit for the error. I ultimately decided a refund was in order, since internal Bluetooth was a feature I really needed. They said no problem, and are sending me an ARS tag for return shipping.

I'm a little disappointed that they didn't return my call or my emails promptly, but after I got through to a human today, the issue was resolved in just a few minutes. So no biggie.

I still have to get a credit on my card for $499- so if you don't see an update on this rating, assume everything went well and I'm a happy camper. But if I'm charged a restocking fee, I'll be updating this review ;).

EDIT:
In ExcaliberPC.com's defense, all US resellers have the T101MT-EU17-BK listed as featuring Bluetooth, so it seems possible the error is thanks to ASUS who fed them the wrong specifications. In the end, it all worked out, so I'm happy. "

"ExcaliberPC will go beyond their means to satisfy customers. They can be trusted to handle orders promptly. They are professionals at keeping customers informed of the ordering process and offer solutions that best suits their customers, not their business. There was a delay my order and they were genuinely concerned that I reached satisfaction. This is hard to credit to most companies but ExcaliberPC will put customers first before anything else.

Not too many businesses left where customer service is the one goal and ExcaliberPC is one of those few places that truly go out of their way. "

"After calling the company to verify stock of my items, and being promised by the salesman that the order would be shipped by the following Thursday, I placed an order on a Monday.

The order did not ship that Thursday, so the following Monday, I sent them an email inquiring about the status, and informing them that if they could not ship it that day then I would order elsewhere. They did not reply to that email until 12 hours later, well after business hours, and after I had already received notice that the order was "shipped". Further investigation of the tracking number revealed that they did not actually ship it, they just processed the tracking number, and my order was not actually shipped until the next afternoon (Tuesday). It was just a tactic to stall for a day, and prevent me from canceling my order.

I was never once given a reason, apology, or any compensation (for instance, upgraded shipping) for the five day delay. Not all of those days were business days, but the fact remains that I was inconvenienced by the delay, and had I known it wouldn't ship until eight days after I placed the order (and then wait 5-7 days for shipping), I would have paid a little more to buy elsewhere.

All in all, though the original salesman was very pleasant, and patient, I would not order from this company again. They did not deliver on their promises, and had very poor follow-up customer service.
-----------------------------------------------
Update: After I posted this review, I received a voice message from Steve, my salesman, who apologized for the service I received, and credited me the costs of shipping. While I wish the experience had been better the first time through, they do seem to care about their customer's experience (or at least the ones who write tepid reviews).

I also wanted to mention that the order finally came accurately, complete and in reasonably good condition.

One corner of the box was indented ~2 inches (!) but I'm sure that was Fedex's fault. The contents, including a motherboard and processor, were packed sufficiently well that none of them were damaged by whatever blow caused the corner of the box such considerable damage."

"I recently ordered a laptop from Excaliberpc, had a little mix up with their customer support and question about products, but this was solved very professionally. A employee from the website gave me a call quickly and effectly to sort out the issue. This is by far the best customer service I have seen. A company that is willing to go so far as to rush a call and even offer further assistance is good quality service in my book. I haven't recieved the product yet, but will update after I've recieved it.

Thanks Excaliber PC! I will definitely shop with you again. Great customer service! A+

"I originally ordered an Asus U20A B1 laptop with another dealer which shall remain nameless in this review. Even though they told me they had the laptop in stock, they didn't when it came time to ship it. I requested the order canceled and found the same laptop CHEAPER, AND IN STOCK at EXcaliberpc.com! They were the only dealers that had the notebook I needed and they were very helpful in the ordering process and offered excellent customer service. I even canceled an item and they were quick to refund it since it was on backorder (car charger wasnt available anywhere) Fedex dropped the ball when shipping this order (took 9 days to get here!) and excaliberpc kindly refunded the rush processing fee because the order took so long. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an Asus laptop or computer product when you cant find it anywhere else they probably have it!"

"Even though the laptop I received had a display that had a tint that was not correct, I found out enough to know that the laptop was very good.

But, more importantly, I now know that the ONLY place I will shop for Asus laptops and accessories is at Excaliberpc.com The customer service they gave me on my last two orders was way beyond anything I have experienced in a long time. I almost thought it didn't exist anymore. Well my friends it does, at Excaliberpc.com. They will stay with you through every step of the process and make sure your satisfaction is guaranteed. They not only "talk the talk" but they also "walk the walk". Thank you Excaliber.com!"
