"I had never bought tires online before. I checked tirerack.com and discounttire.com. Tirerack charges for shipping but no sales tax. Discount tire.com has free shipping but charges sales tax and the prices are the same as going into the local store. I then accidently came across discounttireDIRECT.com. Apparently they are somehow different from the regular discounttire website and stores because they are the direct warehouse. As a result, the price on the tire I wanted was 40% lower than on the regular discount tire site. $102 VS $171! PLUS FREE SHIPPING VIA UPS AND NO TAX! The price difference will not be the same for all tires. Sometimes there is no price difference at all. In fact one tire was actually a few dollars more than it would have been in the local store. Just no tax.
I got an email update and tracking number. The tires were not in stock. I was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks. They received them 3 days later. Once the tires were in stock, it only to 2 DAYS to receive them at my door!"

"These guys are one of the best online stores I have dealt with. Very polite staff and treats customers as Kings!!!! I am sure they are the cheapest too. If you can get a better price, ask them nicely and I believe they would beat it. Their warranty program is the best in the class. "
