"This Company is the worst I have dealt with on the internet, bar none. I placed my order for a Canon EOS Rebel T1i on Thursday the 12th of November for $639.00 + Shipping for a total invoice of $ 647.49. A few minutes after I ordered, a representative who called himself "Frankie" called to verify my shipping address and proceeded to try to sell me more accessories for the camera, I listened to him and told him no thank you, this was a gift for my husband and he could look for any accessories once he had the camera. Of course the real reason I did not agree to buy the accessories is they were grossly overpriced!!! The gentleman thanked me and stated he would add the extra battery to my order at no charge to ensure I was satisfied and would be a repeat customer, I even repeated to him, no thanks, I just want the camera. Well that afternoon I received a notice that my card was being debited $807.48 from EMS Wholesale trading! I immediately replied to the email that this was a mistake and I had only ordered $647.49 and to refund my card the extra $159.99. I received an email back stating I had to call their customer service number to resolve any issues. I called and spoke to a man named "Stan" who proceeded to tell me the order was processed with the 5 hour battery and it was too late to stop it as it had already shipped. I was shocked, there was no way the item had shipped between 5 PM EST and 8 AM EST and I asked for the tracking number. I was told to call back in 10 minutes. I did and no one answered, so I called with my cell phone with an unrecognized number and "Stan" answered again and proceeded to tell me they had a recording of me ordering the battery, at that point, I told him great, if you have a recording, please play it as you will hear me decline the accessories. At that point he said he would cancel the whole order and credit my card. I received a notice that my order was cancelled, but the credit has still not hit my card. Stay away from these sellers!!!"

"ordered a digital cameral on thursday online,for my wife's birthday the following wed, 11/11/09. played email/phone tag with cust serv the next friday, seemed to be some confusion about my order. i assumed it would go out friday, 2-day air. i was a little upset when i doublechecked following monday and it still hadnt gone out yet. re: cust service I... i echo some of the comments here about how short the reps are with callers, maybe a new york thing but to a north carolinian used to warm phone manners this is jarring. To their credit, however, when i called monday to complain that i needed the camera on tuesday ASAP, they said i would get it on time, and apparently lit a fire under UPS and i got it the next morning. Looks like they didnt charge me for overnite even though i said they could. re: cust service II....when i called they tried to upsell me immediately to a memory card, etc. but i said no, it was a soft sell. Would buy from them again based on price and results, but i would also keep close communication via email and phone. CUT TO CHASE: shaky on the phone "bedside manner", iffy communication, but a bottom-line get-the-job-done mentality that results in swift service. wife is happy with camera, which sells elsewhere online for up to $75 more than i paid here."

"Digitalhawks.com offered the Canon XSti body at a lower price than their competitors. I ordered the camera online. I was surprised when I received a phone confirmation from a friendly but pushy salesman trying to get me to buy accesories. I did buy an extra battery and a high res card for the camera, but they seemed higher priced than I could have bought locally, but that is understandable given the low price of the camera. The camera XSTi is terrific, and I am having fun trying out its many features. I was also told I have a five year guarrantee but no papewrwork came with the camera to confirm it or indicate who stands behind it. I was pleased with the quick shipping. All items were received in a well packaged box within a box. I would buy from Digital Hawks again.

"Simon at Digital Hawks was great! I love my canon camera and got it at a great price. I did have a problem with one of the customer service reps, but Simon called me back and made it right and promised he would make sure he talked to the rude customer service reps. THANK YOU! "
