"I ordered a paperback book 11 days ago and order confirmation said it would be delivered in 5 to 10 days. The money was taken from my account the same day but still no book has arrived.DON'T WASTE YOU TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Even if they are legit they take so long to deliver merchandise that you're better off going with another vendor. After reading other reviews I didn't even bother calling customer service. I'll just chalk this up to live and learn.."
"Brutal! Their system generated a duplicate order when a DVD movie was no longer available. Order was placed on 3.31.2011 & credit card was charged immediately. As of today, 10 emails have not produced either a credit for the duplicate order or ANY DVDs/Blu-rays from EITHER order. Finally found phone number to contact directly and have now been on hold 45 minutes. Thank God for speaker phone. Have been a customer since 2007 but now this may be the end as customer service has degenerated to this farce."

"I ordered a multi media cabinet on 1/31/2011 and as of yesterday 2/14/2011 I have received no word on the status of my order. I have called three times inquiring about this order and I'm told each time they are waiting to hear from the supplier. I decided to cancel the order because of poor customer service and the long delay with this order. I was told by one representative that I could not cancel the order. Requested a supervisor and after a lengthy wait I was disconnected. Called back and spoke to Savannah and she said she wrote to her supervisor to cancel the order. Savannah said she would be calling me in a couple of days to inform me of the cancellation. This is poor customer service at best. Savannah is doing all she can do I'm sure but Deep Discount's service is extremely poor. The web site lists the cabinet as "in stock", which is not true as they order it from an outside supplier. This should be stated on their web site.I can not recommend this company to anyone looking to buy any of their merchandise."
"It I could gave zero, I would. My order was canceled (Dec 21 Matrix Set) even my card was charged. Never received anything email from them or Google. No refund to my card either. Had to call. Person lied and said they sent this back for a refund. What kind of company makes a mistake like that, keeps your money, and then lies about? Will make sure I never shop there and that my 1,000+ Facebook friends and their friends don't either."

"Just read the rest of the reviews. They put up sale prices and almost never honor them. They don't ship for months even on regular orders. Either they are the most incompetent bunch of people or outright crooks."
"I ordered the Blu Ray for the Matrix Collection on Dec. 21. Google charged my account on Dec. 22. I realized today I hadn't received an email with delivery information so I called DeepDiscount. It turns out my order has been cancelled. I checked my credit card account and noticed there has not been a credit. I called DeepDiscount and spoke to Savannah. She told me Google has my money and they will notify Google to credit me. I asked how come this wasn't done when they cancelled my order. She said they have no way to know Google has already charged me. I told her I'm appalled the customer has to call to ask them to inform Google that they are due a credit. Savannah told me DeepDiscount followed their store policy regarding cancellations. If this isn't fraud it's at the very least not customer friendly."
"Right along with everyone else on here, they had some low prices on a couple blu-ray movies. I placed my order through Google Checkout, and a day later my order was canceled without any emails or notification. It's still pending in Google. And they also took my money as well and I have yet to get it refunded. I also filed charges with the Chicago area BBB"
"I ordered MISSION CABINET - cherry at DeepDiscountto match my home theatre. One week later, I receivedMission Cabinet with "Oak" color.I called the service phone number, after 1 hour waiting,one lady picked up the phone, I talked with her and asked for some resolutions. she said she would talk with the right department, and called me back in 10 minutes.I did not get call back from DeepDiscount. After 2 daysI wrote an email describing the problem and asked if they could contact me about solutions. Christmas has passed, but I have not received any phone call or email. I really feel upset with the company. I would never order anything from this company. You do notget what you order, and you do not get any servicebut disappointment."

"I must agree with all of the other reviewers. I ordered a movie that I thought I had ordred on Blu-Ray on November 11, 2010. I mistakenly ordered the regular DVD. I have repeatedly contacted the company via eMail (I don't see any telephone number on their web site) to request a return authorization, I have had no response to-date (December 22, 2010). To-date I have had no response.Subsequently, I have filed a complaint with the Illinois Better Business Bureau as of December 22, 2010."

I ordered 6 dvd's and 1 cd. 5 days later, the items were showing up as "open order" not "shipped" so I attempted to cancel the order and ordered the same items through Amazon. Now they email me to say the orders were shipped and I can't cancel!! Guess what - they're still marked as "open" on the website.Called before I canceled and was on hold for 20 minutes and then an endlessly ringing phone. Now, they have a message on their phone saying they're closed for Thanksgiving (it's December 20).This company should not be allowed to be in business. Do NOT use them. Amazon has the same items for the same price."
"What more can be said beyond what has been said already? Dishonest? Fraudulent? Incompetent?This site requires a last order date to complete this review. I note that it has been almost 4 months now and no products. This despite the fact that their site claims these products are all in stock. I have sent about 10 bi-weekly emails and have received conflicting and dishonest responses each time.You should absolutely 100% avoid these shysters at all costs. I have purchased ~300 BluRays in the past year from amazon, bestbuy, target, walmart, barnes and noble and others. Thye are not perfect, but none of the others have the problems deepdiscount has and they will at least operate honestly. A couple reviews before me said it best: you might as well flush your money down the toilet if you place an order with them."
"My experience with this store has been awful. Their prices aren't bad, and I got a DVD box set on super sale, at a fraction of it's original cost.However, I placed the order on November 19th, 2010, purchasing this as a christmas present. After 2 emails asking for ANYTHING, I finally got a auto-email telling me it shipped today, December 15th, and will not arrive until christmas eve, at the earliest. I have yet to speak to a real person.Their lack of any sort of customer service, along with this horrible wait and ruining a christmas present promises I will never shop here again."
