"DX has has cheap prices and great customer service.
The packaging could be better, but I guess that's part of the "free shipping" thing.
I shop there regularly at least once a month for everything from batteries to cell phone and tablets."

"I ordered 5 arduino pro mini and the same amount of nokia displays for my DIY project. This was my second order at dx.com and that time I decided to test if expedited shipment is faster than regular. It was. The first one I had ordered a week or two before is still in queue at Russion customs. Thats the issue of "Pochta Rossii", not dx.com.
The thing I didn't like in dx.com is their automatic emails which cames to you when your order have to be completed (time is about to expire), but it isn't. Let me quote a bit: "Unfortunately we are currently awaiting restock on one or more of your items. If you would like to wait for the item, we thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience. If you would like to change this item or cancel the order, please click here." This gives you no information at all if you think about it. You can find a lot of discussions around such emails in internet so I'm not going to repeat, but just wanted to mentioned it here.
OK, what about my order? It is in good condition! Every element was well packaged, so even our post were unable to brake it :-)
I've checked - all 10 work good. Initially displays worked very differently (I even thought some of them don't) but later it appeared to be a "contrast issue" which can be fixed programmatically. So I'm happy so far. Thanks dx!

"Worse company I've ever ordered from. Order can take 1-2 weeks to ship and another 3-5 to get to you. Even paid expedite shipping and still no sooner."

"Goods at dealextreme is usually a bit more expensive that in another China stores, but in this case you pay for excellent service. For example, if you received a damaged item, or didn't receive an ordered item at all after the reasonable time, it's extremely easy to get the refund. You even don't need to pay for additional postal insurances, like in many other shops.
Free HK shipping (even without minimal order amount) is also a big pros.
You also will nowhere find so much honest and useful product reviews, as at lovely DX.com."
