"I ordered the Nokia N95 online, but it was backordered, and the product will not be available the next day. I found the product the next day cheaper at other places. I called to cancel, and told me it is in the shipping dept. and can not be cancelled. They lied to me, as the order was still no available. I went ahead and block my credit card to cancel the order. WARNING DO NOT ORDER FROM COMPANY THAT CAN NOT BE RETURNED!!! "
"Good price, free shipping. Sounded too good to be true, especially after reading somee of the negative reviews on this site. I decided to try them because the negative reviews were not very current and thear prices were good. I'm not sorry.Placed an order for a Samsung LN-S3296D LCD TV on 28 Feb; the site said on 1-2 week backorder. I received an order # immediately but dod not get a comfimation e mail for two days. It said I needed to contact my credit card issuer to assusre this was not a fradulent charge. I did, and assumed everything waS OK. I called datavis the next day and was told my order was being shipped that day. They shipped and billed on the same day. It arrived as promised in excellent condition.They are not great about handholding nervous customers but they deliver the goods. They were polite and efficient in their phone conversations, and did not try to sell additional unneeded accwssories.I will definitely purchase from then again. "
"I ordered a Toshiba HD-A2 hi-def DVD player Sunday night, received a shipping tracking number on Monday, and received the player on Tuesday. This was for a player that was out of stock at most places and was ordered just a week before Xmas. The price was the lowest on the internet ($399.) and the shipping was a reasonable ~$10. The excellent service I received is totally inconsistent with their ratings."
"This is my experience with this company. I purchased a refurbished FUJIFILM camera from them. In the add it listed that included was the lens cap, strap, batteries, etc, and that it was in a FACTORY SEALED BOX. I got the shipment. The box was NOT sealed. There was no lens cap, strap or batteries included. The usb cable that came with it didn't even fit the camera. So, I contacted Data Vision. He said he would send me a new usb cable, and he would credit me for the missing items. I never got the cable, had to go out and buy one. I had to contact them several times to finally get the credit of $12. Not near enough credit to buy the missing items, and the cable. By this time the 30 day return period had lapsed while I waited for them to refund my money. Well guess what? The camera is a piece of crap. It totally doesn't work half the time. Probably a return to their store, and they sold it to me knowing it wasn't any good. This explains why the box was open, and the usb cord didn't fit and missing items. BEWARE, THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF IF THEY GET A CHANCE!!!!!! Oh, and they had the nerve to leave me negative feed back, for what? Because their service and items are such crap, I guess!"
"Even after reading some horrible reviews about this company, I thought maybe I'd give them the benefit of the doubt since their prices were much lower than some others I had seen. So, I order a laptop sleeve from here. Online it said product was in stock, but six days later I still had not received any verification on my order. I sent them an email, no response. I finally called them and waited about 10 minutes until someone finally picked up. The lady who answer was EXTREMELY RUDE! She tells me that the product I ordered is on backorder and it would take another 1-2 business weeks for them to get it in. I cancelled my order on the spot. She says a confirmation will be sent to me shortly of my cancellation...we'll see about that!I will NEVER order from this company again!..nor will I give any company with bad ratings the benefit of the doubt again. Don't be fooled by the low prices..."
"Low price - but low service. Called a few times.. Once or twice I got an american male who was very helpful. The rest of the time I got someone who was either outside the US or spoke bad english. The bad english speaker is VERY UNHELPFUL. He promised me the shipping would be removed - it was not. I called back to get it removed and he told me the item wasn't a free shipping item!! This item had been labeled with free shipping since they begun selling it. Luckly I took screen caps/got to the right guy. The shipping was removed. It took a day or two to ship(okay for a TV I guess).. I never got any tracking - even sent an email asking for tracking.Like I said before.. cheap price - but its a gamble. I only took the gamble because amazon canceled my order ealier that week."
"Worst internet service ever... i purchased an ebay item with buy it now. A week later i still did not get my camera for a birthday gift. I called and they said it was out of stock and to wait 2 weeks to a month and MAYBE it would be in stock again. I left negative feedback due to this and they left me one back lying. Check out my ebay user id lookitzadobo and you will see the negative. They lied saying i was a bad customer. I was the perfect customer they were the bad guys"

"They've charged my credit card and I still havnt recieved confirmation of shipping, even though their website alleges to charge and ship products coherently. Customer service was exceptionally rude over the phone and would not give me my tracking number of their supposed shipment. I'd definatly think twice before ordering through datavis if you expect to recieve your items in ANY timely manner. Returns is also very difficult as they charge you shipping to and from. So if your item is not in stock they'll tell you it is in stock and hang the value of return shipping over your head as an incentive to keep your order backordered. This company is very mischievous and hardly honest.Will never buy from datavis again.EDIT: item recieved. Speculations were wrong, regardless however, customer service was still exceptionally rude."
"Bought a HL-R5688 Samsung DLP 1080P TV , and 3 year Mack warrenty for unit and bulb. Placed order over phone. Got confirmation email. Found this site. I got worried I had made a mistake. So I ended up becoming paranoid. Called every day to check the status. The customer service rep was helpful. Said order was in progress. Although I admit at times seemed a little shady, it could have something to do with the outside influences of this site.I figured I would give it a try since they where linked to from Samsung as a "online" dealer. Besides I figured I live just over the river from them in Jersey, so if there was a problem, I would just go over and bust some @$$.A week to the day of placing my order my new TV was delivered. Guy helped me unpack it and turned it on to verify it was functional. Overall, I was happy with the sale. They definatly need to do some work on there website. And refine the workflow for "large" deliveries. I was promised I would have the TV and they came through. It might be nice if more people wrote about there positive experiences since most people only go to these sites when they are pissed.Tech Guy"
"I called the store before placing my order and asked if I placed the order on Monday 1/30/06 and paid for 3 day shipping when would the item arrive...the customer service rep state Friday 2/3/06. I placed the order and recieved a 'canned' email that stated the order would be procssed in 24-48 and shipped thereafter. The item did show 'available' when I placed the order and at no time was I contacted that the item was not in stock. I called the store today and was told I would be the item sometime next week. The customer service rep said the internet state the item would be available in 5-7 days. I did not see that at anytime before placing the order. I then canceled the order and I will not order from them."
"Simply horrible!! Received a broken unit. Took 2 emails and 2 phone calls (btw, each phone call took me more than half an hour to get an actual person) to get an RMA. Sent the unit right away after getting the RMA. Another long-waiting phone call to confirm that they received the unit. Was told the refund will be credited in a week. It passed a month and I am still waiting for my money back. Every time I call, they keep saying the same 'in a week' bullshit. (Emails simply do not get any responses)"
