"I should have read this forum before placing my order. it's been more that a week since I ordered. Even though they charged my credit card right away, they have not shipped it yet and not answering my emails. I just asked for the refund and if they don't get back to me I will file the dispute. "
"I order from DailySteals on a regular basis and up until now, have been satisfied. Of the numerous items I have ordered, one, a TV, was damaged and they handled the return promptly and courteously. Unfortunately, the regular good service I have received is missing with my recent order of a laptop. The item, advertised as "refurbished", was actually used and damaged. The computer was delivered loose in a box with a used cord. That was it. Anyone who knows anything about computers knows that you don't package a computer like that. When I inquired about a return, I was told that I needed to contact the supplier, who is in the process of moving so it might take a while to get in touch with them. Seriously???? Dailysteals.com charged my credit card and I expect THEM to back their products. It is not the customer's responsibility to track down some rogue supplier. I called my credit card company and they told me since DS charged my card, I should NOT send the return back to the supplier (since the supplier can't credit my card). So, here I am, a very unhappy customer, with a POS laptop, trying to track down a supplier who can't help me anyway. "
"Don't waste your time. I placed an order on March 14 and the item has not shipped yet. I just went ahead and cancelled the order now and let me see how long it takes to get my money back. UPDATE# 1:After I cancelled my order yesterday, I checked my order status this morning and it was still not showing up as cancelled so I cancelled it 2nd time and contacted them one more time. Then I received an email that they cannot cancel my order because my order is getting processed to be shipped!!!!!!Anyway, I will sit tight and hope I get what I ordered...UPDATE# 2:Finally I received the item but 1) refurbished 2) defective DAMN!!!I believe the add didn't call out specifically refurbished but that is Ok with me but IT IS DEFECTIVE! Now I filled in the return order details and let me see how long this shit takes. "

"From my personal experience, stay away. I finally learned my lesson after several items I ordered had to be returned due to defects. Keep in mind, it is not easy to return to them. They make you jump through hoops and so not answer your emails promptly. This last order, 2 solar lights, 1 came damaged in the box. I asked them to just replace the broken one. They wanted a sample of my DNA and proof of purchase which they already knew I purchased it from them. Ridiculous and anyone contemplating from purchasing from them should think twice. Their refurbished items are really damaged items. I purchased a tablet that arrived with a scratched screen. The scratch was so deep that if you ran your finger across it, you would cut yourself. I had to send 8 pictures of the scratch before they allowed me to send it back for a refund. If you ever got that feeling that you were not dealing with an on the up company, purchasing from them will make you feel that way."

"My advice to people trying to buy products from Daily steals is to not do so. As soon as you check out/buy your product, daily steals will just send you an email saying that they got your payment and after that they will forget about you and not ship your product.I placed an order with them back in February and I've yet to see them ship the order. I also tried contacting them and I've yet to hear from them either! It seems that once they get your money they forget about you and move on, which it totally unacceptable.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DAILY STEALS. YOU WILL REGRET IT!UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review I was contacted by one of the managers of Daily Steals. He/She finally was able to ship the product I ordered and told me that I would be getting a partial refund later for the shipment delay. I will keep you guys posted to see if the product actually arrives and the overall quality of the product when it arrives. UPDATE 2: I feel really ripped off right now. I finally received my shipment today(3/16/2013) and when I opened it, the product inside was not what I ordered. The product features that were listed did not match the actual product that came in!!PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE. like I mentioned before you will regret it. Daily Steals is nothing but trouble!! "
"Never buy anything from Dailysteals, unless that u need to buy something like accessories, or something for cheap1. SHipping is super slow2. Quality is so cheap3. They only sell clone, fake one, not original4. Item not as described. I already some items from them, that why I know. I order burberry brand new, they sent to me the tester. This is a big company, and they sent to me the package without any invoice. How bad is this service?Please dont buy from this company. Forward this information to help other consumers."
"Bought a couple of items from DailySteals.One of them was a Talking alarm clock that arrived on time, but found that it does not have the features as advertised and now the product description cannot be found on their website anymore to prove it.The item description said that the alarm clock also has FM radio that can be used as alarm but the product received does not have that feature. They display the product only while the deal is on and then the product is gone from their website.Keep away from this site.Its deceptive marketing of products.Updated 3/8/2013:Sent a complaint via their website and they called back and refunded the amount and said no need to return the product. Good customer service."
"As for the resolution below, I had forgotten about it, but as a belated follow up; I didn't get the gift certificate and the helicopter didn't work. I'm not sure they're still in business.Their deals are great, if they get delivered. They don't respond to customer service inquiries and there's no phone #. They seem to have a canned response that says they've either tried to contact or have contacted the customer, which is bogus.The best thing you can do is file a charge back with your credit card company, which costs them a fee. In addition, if they get enough charge backs, their ability to accept credit cards will be suspended. I placed an order with them for 4 helicopters on Jan 8th. So far I haven't received anything and will be filing my charge back first thing tomorrow.I was contacted by Daily Deals almost immediately after posting the above complaint. It would suffice to say that, if they do what was promised, I am MORE than happy.I rec'd the helicopter but not a word about the $20 gift certificate I was promised...c'mon!"

"Hello my package was never delivered by USPS and I'm getting the run around by getting an update. I emailed daily steal 3times since last Thursday and no one called or emailede back. "ordered 6 desktops 3 weeks ago, one finally turned up after having issues with shipping and who knows what else. Contacted them and they told me I needed to contact the reseller, surely that's their job to do that? Anyhow after emailing the reseller they emailed me back saying dailysteals only told them to ship 1 to me. Have emailed their support to ask what happened and not getting any response. Going to file a refund on the Amex card as this is terrible service and no response from their sales office.Update: I guess writing these reviews does help, they did call me and said they would ship them this week. "Last month, they had Indoor/Outdoor Picnic Table as their deal. It arrived pretty quickly, but was very poorly packaged. The tabletop itself was cracked and the hinges were broken. I attempted to contact the company through their website, but didn't get a response. I then tried to use paypal's resolution center, but they didn't respond to that. I finally escalated it to a claim which they also didn't respond to. Paypal ruled in my favor but now I'm supposed to send the item back at my cost.. which probably equals the cost of the item itself so there's really no point.I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this was a terrible experience overall. Hopefully someone can learn from my experience and mistakes.UPDATE 2-13-13 - I was contacted by someone from Dailysteals and they took care of the problem. They gave a refund without me having to deal with the hassle of sending the item back. Apparently, my messages or their responses were getting caught in a spam filter. Regardless of what the problem was, in the end they made it right."
