"One of my items was damaged in shipping but Cymax sent a replacement out to me in very quick fashion. Instead of asking me to return the damaged item, they asked me to donate it to a local charity and forward them the receipt."

"This is almost comical - Cymax WILL NOT Respond to my direct emails yet, when I post a review on this site, they are right on it with their canned response. This is my third addition to the review and I bet I get the "we are so sorry" canned response which does not address any issues with this company. They totally disregard that I attempted to cancel, per their policy for THREE DAYS, via the website link and only got a server error message and voice messages. My next stop is the BBB.

I Received this response from Cymax in response to my 5/2/13 review:
“Hi there, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience. As we are a drop ship company and ship everything from the manufacturer to you, the order is forwarded directly to them. We are only able to cancel an order if it has not been shipped or prepared for shipment. Because of our commitment to fast and efficient shipping, the window of time to cancel an order is sometimes limited. If you have any questions feel free to contact us at 1-866-740-9830”
I have never written a bad review until my experience with Cymax. What I neglected to explain in the review, on 5/2, was that I followed their own procedure to cancel an order. For 3 days the website gave me a server down message which prevented me from canceling. I sent 3 emails and a fax to cancel order. I tried to cancel LESS than 24 hours after placing the order. I was WELL WITHIN THE “WINDOW OF TIME TO CANCEL AN ORDER”. To this date, I received not one reply to my emails or to my fax. Apparently if you contact them directly your complaints mean nothing. I pleaded to have the order cancelled because the "server error" prevented me from doing so for 3 days. The only acknowledgment or reply from this company appeared when I gave them this rating reflective of their level of customer service. I do not feel free to contact them by telephone. When I had finally reached them after getting numerous taped “not available messages,” their representative was curt and petulant. Who needs that type of treatment?"

Canceling an Item or Order

Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, there is a limited period of time in which your order can be cancelled. Cymax Stores is only able to accept cancellation requests via My Account or phone. Please follow the directions below to submit a cancellation request. Most requests are reviewed and responded to within 2-3 business days.

Connect with us on My Account using the password provided by email when your order was placed. With My Account, you may request a cancellation online or check the tracking information.

Please Note:

Your cancellation request will be sent to the manufacturer directly to confirm the order can be cancelled and that it has not been prepared for shipping.
You will receive an email from us confirming if your cancellation request has been approved or declined.

All cancellations are confirmed in writing: If you have not received an email confirmation, your order has not been cancelled. Cymax Stores is unable to cancel an order once it has shipped or if it has been prepared for shipping by the manufacturer.

If we are unable to cancel your order as requested, you will receive a notification in writing explaining that your order was too late to cancel. If this should happen and you do not wish to receive your product, you may return it under our Standard Return Policy. Please review this policy before refusing the product at delivery.

If your order has successfully been cancelled, Cymax will initiate a refund. The processing time frame for the refund to appear to your original method of payment is 7-10 business days from the date of the confirmation email. This item is great. Fast shipping!. Quality is that of expected really nice. Cherry cinnamon type finish. The free shipping and handling for that price was great. This item normally costs way more and i love it. I ordered a 2nd one for my other room!"

"I read the reviews and almost decided not to order. Now I wish I would have listened to my gut. I ordered a bunk bed, dresser and under bunk drawers. The bunk beds were complete but the quality is bearable but not good. The dresser was gouged and now they tell me it will be at least 8 days until I get a replacement. The under bed storage drawers were not received but I did get someone else's upper bunk panels. They won't refund the amount off my credit card until they send me the correct goods.

UPDATE - THEY STILL HAVE NOT RESOLVES MY ISSUE AND I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED THAT I DO NOT HAVE MY FURNITURE. THEY DO HAVE MY MONEY STILL. "
