"Horrible communication. Ordered a $600 solid state drive. No confirmation of order. I had to email them to see what was up. They told me since it was such a large order, i would need to take a pic of front and back of my cc and driver's license and email it back. I did this immediately. Next day I get an email from them telling me they have received the above and are going to send this to a supervisor. I wait another day and they tell me everything is good with my credit card. Several hours later they email me back to let me know the item is unavailable. Then they have the gall to ask me what I want them to do. I immediately checked my Amex statement online and they had already processed the payment on my cc. Do you think I am upset??? You better believe I am. I have never heard of such disorganization. As of right now I am waiting for my credit on my Amex. UPDATE: a short time after I posted this review, Matt from CostCaptain contacted me via email and made sure that I got my proper credit. In my opinion I believe he was very concerned about the negative review I posted and wanted to mitigate the situation. But nevertheless, Matt was actually very polite and in the end I did receive my credit. Should you do business with CostCaptain? I guess at this point that is for you to decide. "

"Do NOT buy from CostCaptain.com! I placed an order for a multi-function printer on their website. The following day I received a very generic form email from them stating that my order may be mysteriously delayed. I waited 4 more days without any update before calling their Customer Support phone number during their regular business hours. I was on hold for a while before their customer service line gave up and rolled over to voicemail. I left a clear voicemail with all of my contact and order information. They never responded so 2 days later I wrote them an email explaining the situation and asking them to let me know what was going on. Finally, after over a week without any updates or response, I received a brief email stating my order was canceled due to unavailability, and that I would be refunded in 3 business days. I checked the following day, and they were still allowing the unavailable printer to be ordered on their website. This is one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had with any retailer. I understand mistakes happen, but if you look at the other reviews for CostCaptain.com, they happen a little too often with this company. But more importantly, their customer service is terrible after they make a mistake. Oh, and one other thing. They have a misleading Free Shipping promotion that requires you to pay for a special program to actually receive free shipping."
"They shipped me the wrong item. No invoice, no number to call them. Sent several emails, noticed that they have a horrible BBB rating. They did eventually get back to me and they did make a serious effort to fix it, albiet slowly. Does a low price justify slow service? You have to make that call, whole ordeal tool 3 weeks? 2.5 weeks to get the correct product."

"They are pretty good in sending out the orders. However, they suck at talking (that is cust. support) and fail to email you or notify you even when your order is on its way. I will say they don't know how to sell themselves, but their product range and pricing is so good that it overcomes it."
"Ordered a part on 4/24/2013, never received a confirmation email.Account was charged on between 4/24/2013 and 4/30/2013. Emailed them after the 48 hour buffer of not receiving the confirmation email/receipt on 4/30/2013.Received a reply on 5/1/2013 saying that my case was being "escalated" to the shipping manager. Emailed and called at the end of the day on 5/2/2013 and left information for 3 ways that they could contact me, still have not heard from them.It is clear to me that this company is seeding their reviews with positive reviews because this is ridiculous. I can't view any order information because I never received an order confirmation or number.It seems I will have to dispute the charge with the credit card company.But what is truly a shame is that the company I am ordering on behalf of is listed in this companies list of sponsors/clients.I would be willing to get this worked out before it comes to me disputing the charge, but I can't F@$%ING contact the company.I guess I can never trust the Google rating of a online store ever again because it definitely seems that they seed their reviews with positive ones. Had I known this I would have never ordered from this scamming/fraudulent company.UPDATE 5/6/2013: Received my confirmation email/order # today, 12 days after the order was placed. Along with my order number I received information that they don't have the product I ordered available though the product was listed as in stock. They've stated that they will be issuing a refund, still I will never ever order from this company and I urge you not to either. "
