"Same deal as some of the others. I ordered Garmin Nuvi 760. Got a great price. Then an email to confirm some CC info. This was a bogus reason and they just wanted me to add the Map upgrade. The price for that was over $200.
I said no thanks. I knew Garmin will update it for free within the first few days (30 or 60, I can't remember exactly) of activation. The guy said the maps were "old". I didn't want to bother with the sales BS, so I just told him I had no more $$$.
So then I checked my order and it's suddenly backordered. then I go to the site and it says it available! I canceled my order. They do have my CC info, but haven't charged it.
They were hard to reach. The guy acted like I was stupid (or maybe poor) when I said I didn't want it. I'd like to take a road trip to the NY area...
Anyway, for those still looking, I found the 760 for 218 at walmart.com online only. As much as I hate to shop there, it's the cheapest I've found. Most sites are close in price. "

"Do not order from these companies: closeoutgenious.com and cameragiants.com EXTREMELY POOR service and questionable to be legitimate. The representative tried selling me several other different products (accessories), convincing me that I needed them because the once that come with the camera are not good enough. I ended up canceling my order and him hanging up on me. They wasted my time."
