"My ordeal began a few days ago. I ordered a product on circuitcity.com, and selected the 2-7 days UPS ground shipment. The delivery came rather quick, and I was not at home. Knowing that I would not be here on the estimated time of delivery the UPS driver left, I went to the UPS site to request a store pick-up instead. I found that the option was not there on my UPS tracking site. When I called UPS they said the sender (Circuit City.com) has a restriction indicating that no store pick-up is allowed. I knew that there would be three attempts at delivery, and that the next two would conflict with my work schedule. So I called Circuitcity.com's CS number. I was on hold for well over an hour. Early during the wait, I e-mailed my issue asking for the restriction on store pick-up to be lifted at UPS as UPS said that was the only way for the limitation to be removed on their end. I hung up on the phone after the long wait and no service. I received a response via e-mail this morning, but of course the package was already loaded on the truck. They mentioned in the e-mail to respond if the delivery failed again, and they would make the changes. I waited as long as I could before work, but had to leave eventually. So the second attempt at delivery failed again. I immediately responded to the previous e-mail. I have yet to receive a response on this time-sensitive request. I am again on hold with them. I imagine the package will be reloaded on the truck and the delivery will fail again, because it is at the same time everyday even though I asked UPS for a change of delivery time. I want this product, and do not want pay for reshipment when the package is just across town, and could easily be picked up in the morning by me, the recipient who is paying for the shipment. Why place this restriction on delivery? Why is the restriction not mentioned when selecting shipping options? I have attempted to communicate in the proper time frame to get this issue resolved without much success.Part 2: Thank you for your response. My tracking information I retrieved shows that my reorder has not shipped yet. "
