"I have to say I was extremely skeptical of CheetahDeals when I started researching their reviews. One review that stood out above all was by this one fellow accusing CheetahDeals for making up cushy reviews to boost its ratings on resellerratings and I somewhat understand where that user is coming from. Most of the reviews on this site for cheetahdeals didnt really review much about their experiences with cheetahdeals but about how generically satisfied they were with the product. I'd like to elaborate on my experience with this particular merchant.I ordered an Acer Iconia W500 refurb on their website 12-13-2011. They had the lowest price by far compared to other sellers (New: $450, Used/Refurb: $400, their site: $370+freeship) so I felt that even though I was skeptical, I'd take a risk. I chose the standard shipping 5-7 business days and checked out. I got a confirmation email right after the order was place and 12/14/2011 (a day later) I got an email saying it's shipped. I got the package 12/20/2011 in it's refurbished box and worked just as described. All in all I didnt have a problem with this merchant. To recap, my experience is: speedy delivery, promised condition, and it seems like they take customer service seriously (what more can you ask for?). I would buy from them again if the price is right. As a side note, as of today, their rating is 8.67 and with my experience, I'd say cheetahdeals met my expectations, if not exceeded it."
"I purchased an Acer netbook (Scratch & Dent) last week. The scratches were barely noticable unless you were looking for them. I did need to air clean the keyboard, but other than that, this thing was just like new. It came with Windows 7 premium, and a larger hard drive than most of the other netbooks I have seen available. I had ordered a different product that got caught up in shipping, decided to change my order, and they were very helpful through the whole process. Much appreciated!"
"I ordered an Acer Aspire One netbook (scratch & dent) for a very reasonable price. However the next day, a rep told me the unit I ordered was out of stock. Clearly I wasn't very happy at that time because I thought it was an issue with their inventory tracking. Also because I missed out on another good netbook deal because I got this one. I wondered how a store that's operating in the year 2011 can still have issues with inventory tracking?Later I was told that the issue was more complicated. It happened that the unit they sold me was audited before being shipped and it didn't pass the audit. That's good if you consider that Cheetahdeals (Seneca Data) apparently has a process in place to prevent substandard units from being shipped. It's bad if you consider that their process should have prevented the unit from getting into their inventory in the first place.Having said that though, the rep who helped me was really amazing and went out of his way to find me a replacement that's even better than the unit I ordered. Despite being super busy, he explained what had happened, called me and made sure I was OK with the replacement and expedited shipping. Kudos to him and to Seneca for handling this situation better than some big box retailer would have handled it. I received the unit today and it's working great for the last 5 hours or so, and hopefully a lot longer. You can hardly tell it's a refurb unless you inspect it closely."

"UPDATE-Thanks for the offer to swap out- it has already gone to the garbage dump Ordered a ACER refurbished netbook 11/11/11. Received on 11/18/11 by UPS in genuine ACER Factory brown refurbished box.Box contained the Netbook, Battery and Power Supply. Also a copy of my invoice and ACER refurbished information.Hooked it up and started getting rid of all the added programs "Try&Buy" stuff. Noticed that although I had the power supply plugged in, it was not charging the battery. Battery was continuing to drain and Power LED not lit. Used until battery died and then tried my SONY power supply (also 19v DC) and it works fine (LED light) and charges battery also. Using the SONY power supply while waiting for a new power supply I ordered on eBay.Would be nice if CheetahDeals checked out these things before shipping them.Other than that, the Netbook is fine. Has a few light scratches which is expected for a "Scratch & Dent" refurbished unit.Having to buy a power supply reduced the value I got from CheetahDeals. Would be nice if they sent me a working power supply that I should have received in the first place."
"I ordered two Acer tablets and paid for 3-5 day shipping via ups and it took six days to receive my product. I made contact with cheetah deals and they would not refund my money for the shipping. I also contacted ups and they said the package was shipped standard ground delivery and I paid extra for 3-5 day shipping. So basicly they took my extra shipping money and then sent my package standard ground delivery. I have been very happy with the product once we received it but there customer service sucks."
"Second experience a minor letdown versus the first. For some reason the order didn't get past "Processing" status for many days. When I checked with online assistant, I was told it would be released that day and the "warehouse was sitting on it for some reason." Moral - call after a couple of days to make sure order is processed. Speed in receipt after that was excellent. Quality of products were excellent, too. "

I'm saying that I can spot a shill a mile away and most of the reviews I have read here pertaining to your company were written by shills. I am 99% convinced of this. There are 2 things I do well in this world: Arm wrestle and spot faux reality. I'm not even offended by the fact that you more than likely are writing your own reviews and that these sites are being ruined by this exact type of behavior. I am offended by how BAD and obvious they are. But as a result of your civilized response, I have slightly edited. "
