The lens is question was removed from a camera kit for sale individually and is brand new as advertised. We apologize for any inconvenience as that was not our intention.”

"Excellent overall experience. The customer service department is staffed by friendly, professional people, and Cameta Camera has a great return policy, so no worries about buying from them.
The only thing I was dissatisfied with is that they will take 2 full days to ship if your order is placed using their free shipping. It's like they are punishing you for using free shipping, because if you pay extra, they will ship the same day if the order is in by 1pm, or the next day if it's later than that. I think it's just a way to try to make you cave in to a higher shipping cost.
But otherwise, I am extremely happy with Cameta Camera, and I will consider them and Amazon first before any other source. (Of course, if Amazon's price is the same, I'll probably order from Amazon because of faster shipping.) But some of Cameta's prices are lower than Amazon, and they've earned my business with great service, slow shipping excepted."
