"Seems like the standard operating procedure for this company is to be "Scam-Artist". I placed and order for a Garmin NUVI 255W as I found they had the best price on the internet. My order went in without a hitch. They called me that night 3 times but I was not available. "William" said for me to call him back to "confirm" my order. I called and William procedded to tell me that the unit was "useless" without an SD Card. I told him I didn't think I needed it and didn't want it. He said sarcastically, "Want are you going to do with a GPS that doesn't work. You have to have this SD Card to make it work." I told him again I didn't need or want an the Card. He said he would make me a deal by throwing in a carrying case if I bought the SD Card for $99. I admit I made my voice sound firmer the next time I told him I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING ELSE WITH MY ORDER. JUST THE GPS UNIT. He came back at me with, "Don't raise your voice to me or I'll hang up!" So I prcedded to hang up on him and immediately cancelled my order via e-mail. They said via e-mail my order was cancelled and my personal information was deleted from their system. I just hoping now that this is the end of it. Whatever you do DON'T buy from these Shisters! It's a shame nothing can be done about them with as many complaints as have come against them."

"I ordered a Canon G10 from Camera Giants. I was told it was going 3-day with UPS. The next day I received an e-mail from them saying it had shipped and they included a tracking number. The tracking number didn't show up in UPS' system and I still haven't gotten my camera. I've twice been disconnected from their customer service line and they don't respond to e-mail. I'll NEVER buy from these guys again."

"My experience is just as bad as everyone elses experience. I ordered a Garmin Nuvi 765T from them early in the afternoon. By late afternoon I received a phone call from them telling me that for an extra $99 I could buy a memory card. I wondered why I would want that since, they told that it came with no software or maps on the GPS. When I told him to cancel the order because they are screwing me, that operator laughed and asked me, "from the front or the back?". I got very upset at this point and told him to just cancel the &(** (&(*&(* order. "

"I had the same experiance as everyone else here. They are a scam operation and nothing more. I just wanted to post a review to see if I could lower their average score any more than it already is. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. RUN AWAY!"

"I went on line an ordered a Garmin 265 WT GPS. I received a confirmation, order #. I received a phone call the next day from Brian asking me which battery charger I wanted to order, the $7 or $99 one. I said it comes with one a rechargeable lithium-ion battery & it says so on your website. He said it doesn't. I said then send me the GPS as ordered without the charger. He said I can't separate the charger from the order. That means the unit that is for sale includes the charger! He was trying to get an additonal fee after falsely advertising his product. I told him I would contact the BBB & he said do what you want the order is cancelled. He would not listen & I realized this is just a scam. This type of practice should not be permitted. Cameragiants.com should lose there license & not be allowed to to sell on the interent under this name or another they may have.

As I stated previously, unsuspecting buyers should not have to tolerate this type of sales scam. He sells under everyone else's price to draw you in & then hits you with his line that the charger isn't included. If he gets 10 buyers & loses 6 he still comes out a head by scamming the ones you didn't want to cancel the order.Camergiants.com & any other name they are selling under should lose their license to sell on the internet or any where else.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE"

"By far the worst company and the most rude costumer service i have ever dealt with.Just like everyone else I ordered a Garmin nuvi 755T "best price i found online", the next day I received an e-mail saying that i have to call for confirmation, I called and a guy named Alex answered and tricked me in buying a 2GB memory card for 99.00$ "he said that it is not a standard SD card and it is something made for garmin". Anyway I said OK but felt fishy and googled the memory card and fount that it is just a standard SD card and it is online for 10.00$ so i called back just to cancel the memory card and the costumer service guy was so rude and told me that he will cancel the whole order "like threatening me or something" i told him how come you can add items to the order and can't cancel items and you have to cancel the whole order. HE told me "What part of i will cancel the order don't you understand", i told him that this is not a polite way of talking to costumers so the bastard HANG UP on me!! I called again to make an official complain, the same bastard answered, i told him get me your supervisor, he told me I am the supervisor, ok so i told him that this in not a professional way to talk to costumers and this it was really rude talk to me like that and to hang up , he told me " To you I am rude and this is my nature" can you believe that!I got really pissed off and told him give me a decent human being to talk to, he said "When you are one i'll give you one" and Hang up again.
So this is my story with this scam company it feels so bad to be helpless and can't do anything about it. Anyway I don't recommend anyone to deal with these bastards. "

"I had the exact same experience as everyone else. I Googled the Garmin Nuvi 755T to find the best price, and I stumbled upon cameragiantsinc.com. Since they had the best price by far compaired to any other store, this was a no brainer. I purchased the product on their website and received an email the next day saying that I need to call them at 888-900-7468 Ext. 207 (Chris). I called and spoke to Chris...he was actually pretty nice compared to the way it sounds like some other people were treated. He did however try to pressure me into buying accessories that I didn't want or need. He told me that I need to buy a special high-speed SD card, even though I told him I already have about 5 regular SD cards at home. He kept insisting that I need to buy the special high-speed one for the GPS to work correctly. I politely declined, then he tried to sell me a home charger, I declined that, then he tried to sell me a protection plan. By that point I was getting pretty pissed off so I wasn't as nice. He finally gave up and said that my order will be shipped. So I waited the rest of the day for a shipping confirmation email...never got one. The next day I checked my order status and it was on backorder. I found this strange considering their website didn't say anything about the GPS being on back order, and he didn't tell me that on the phone either. I started getting suspicious and Googled Camera Giants...that led me to this site. After reading EVERY review, I promptly cancelled my order from their web site. I then proceeded to place my order for the same GPS from a a more legit company for a little bit more money...pcnation.com. I don't see how these rotten bastards can go on for too long without getting into some serious legal trouble. If only all of us knew to research this company a little more before "buying" from them..."

"Same as everyone else.

Bought item online one night. Next day found this website with all the awful reviews. Just like everyone said... I received an email stating I had to call to confirm my order. Phones answered rudely (no, 'hi thank you for calling camera giants, just a muffled 'hello') which was a tip off. After I confirmed my camera order it seemed to be going okay, then he followed with "so did you want the 4 hour or 6 hour battery". Nowhere did it state the $149 camera came without a battery. I was told if I wanted a "kit" with a battery and fast charger it would be $299. The same battery he was trying to sell me was at Best Buy for $40 less. Told him to cancel order and he responded with "fine, it's canceled" then hung up on me.

Complete waste of time."

"Received the email verification to call them. Did not call but sent an email to cancel this order based on the reseller ratings posted here. Surprising to me they cancelled the order a few days later."

"Stay away! Their salesman tried to convince me that I HAD to have a preformatted SD card in order to use a GPS unit. 69.00 more. Just a variation of bait and switch. Which is a variation of dishonesty. "
