"Placed order on 3/6/2010 for a stainless steel LG 25 cubic foot french door refrigerator. Got a call on 3/7/2010 regarding shipping options. They charged my credit card this same day (3/7/2010). I had not heard from them for a couple of weeks, so I called and was told that the item was being prepared for shipping. A few days later, no update, no tracking number, no communication whatsoever. So I call and am told that the item is being shipped directly from LG, so a tracking number will be issued shortly. A few days later, still nothing, so I call and am told their computer system was down, but a tracking number should be issued in the next day or two. What a major hastle! And still no outcome - no tracking number and no communication whatsoever. Highly recommend to avoid doing business with this so called company. "
"Buyer's Edge had the best combination of item price and freight cost on the microwave/convection oven I wanted to purchase. The ordering process was simple, and they kept me updated with shipping/tracking information. The oven was shipped promptly and came in on time as expected. They followed up with a courtesy call to make sure that I was happy with the service and that my item arrived in good shape. I order online frequently, and this is the type of service that is great to experience. I would shop with Buyer's Edge again."
"I ordered a 50-inch Samsung on March 3rd. This was after I ordered another TV that they didn't have but told me they did. (I got a call several days after my initial order). So on the 3rd I placed the order and got "3-5" days shipping on it.. I called back a day or two later to confirm that it was shipped. I noticed several days later that no tracking number was placed in my order number. I called several times and got an excuse each time. I was promised a call back on Thursday march 11. Guess what? Never got a call.. And each time I tried to call back I got a voicemail that I couldn't leave a voicemail on or the phone keeps ringing. Its now the 15th and still no TV or tracking number. They already charged me over 1200. I will be filing a police report and contacting my bank tomorrow if I don't get a call back. EDIT: I am happy to announce that I did receive my TV. There was apparently a mix up between their warehouse and samsung. I received a followup call by Tommy who seemed concerned about the issues I've pointed out. He was very patient and attentive. He assured me that the issues I have pointed will be taken to management to be addressed. I am confident that buyersedge will improve on these areas and even though I was not happy with the service I received, I understand mistakes are made I hope I helped buyers edge out and pointed out areas of improvement."
"I had an excellent experience! I purchased a commercial grade Maytag washer that would have cost me over $1500 to buy locally. But instead it was $875 and that was WITH the extended warranty! Received my order on time and the customer service was friendly. I researched online before I chose them, and then I placed my order by calling it in, even though I could have done it online. Received consistent information. My order had to ship from their Warehouse in NJ to me in Phx, AZ--- but it still arrived on time! That is impressive! I will shop them again!"

"Ordered a GE standard electric oven on 3/4/10 and item was delivered on 3/24/10. Also, website advertised FREE DELIVERY and subsequently emailed me saying that it's a curbside delivery. That got me worried knowing that the oven weighs about 100 lbs. However, I was notified the exact carrier by email and when I called them, they told me that they would in fact bring the oven inside the house. They also gave me a specific window of delivery (4 hrs) that enabled to schedule my day accordingly. However, during the more than 2 weeks between order and delivery, I kept checking the status on the website but it had absolutely no updated info. When I called, nobody knew the status either because "the item is shipped directly from the manufacturer" and not in their control. I don't think I'll buy from them again."

After original posting contacted by Buyer's Edge "Quality Control" and was offered a $20 gift certificate to change review to five stars.Disreputable attempt to manipulate ratings along with lack of customer service--not recommended."

I made one call to customer service on a Sunday and spoke with Victor who told me my issue would be taken care of on Monday. Monday morning I had an email response from Kevin, which included the rebate PDF that I could not download from the web site when I placed my order. Delivery was made in a little over a week. Product was delivered in perfect condition. My experience was excellent. Great price, quick friendly customer service (includes the shipping agent). The follow up call I received today to see if I was satisfied was a good finishing touch. I have told all my co-workers about Buyer's Edge. "Very quick delivery. I expected to wait 10 or more days to get this product and it came in less than 5. Very nice. The delivery person was very helpful and waited until I inspected the product for damages - which there weren't any. I would have been nice for the sales person to re-contact me about adding a service plan or purchasing additional product. "

"BuyersEdge.com or ButterflyPhoto.com (who ever they are) never responded to my order other than an automated invoice via email. I tried calling them 4 times, and was directed to a voice mail box, asked to leave a message and then was told no message was taken and then hung-up on. I was left with no choice but to call my credit card company cancel my order through them and report them for fraud. I would never recommend making an online purchase with either of these companies.Sincerely,Commtraveler."
"We bought a very high-end microwave. Not only did they call to confirm the details, but they had regular follow up to make sure we were happy. The shipment arrived fast... in fact, much faster than the local Sears store could have gotten the same appliance in. I would recommend them to someone else any time."
"I placed an order on Feb. 15 2010 at buyersedge.com for a 55" Samsung TV along with a Hanging kit cable and cleaner . The person who sold this to me told me that all items were in stock and would ship the next day. He clearly said to me that the item would get to me within 10 days when he saw i wasnt so interested in making the purchase anymore because of the wait time he proceede to inform me that if i paid 110 dollars extra with a special he had because it usually was 199.00 i would get the shipment within 3 to 5 days i got convinced and said ok. Tuesday Feb.23 2010 as specified i received the TV .... thats it no other items. mind you i bought the hanging kit for the wall because i did not have another place to put it .. the HDMI cable because it is a HDTV and its vital ... the cleaning kit well .. to protect my investment .. so with out all four of these elements i might as well not have any ... i called to see what the problem was .. and found that besides having the WORST costumer service ever .. it is also a no choice deal and i quote " Sir your items were back ordered and will be shipping today and for the inconvinience we put a 2-3 day shipping rush ....ok .. thank you for calling ". WOW you dont even have the choice o complain .. i figuered ok at least its before the weekend .. TUESDAY Mar. 2 2010 .. I FINALLY recieve what i thought were the rest of my things . i open the package surprise i get to do the next step and hang the useless TV .. NO cables .. i proceeded once agin to call this out standing customer service and i quote " Sir heres the tracking number for the rest of your things .. the should be there this week id sayyy uhm .. Thursday .. ok anyting else i can do for you ... Seriously how can you even think your a company .. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID .. make your own decision when shopping at this site but dont say i didnt warn you... THE WORST EVER..."
"THE WORST EVER, they have no class at all. Sold 52" TV, that dont work name brand. & then when I called them for customer service, they told me that they do not replace or exchange any TV's over 46". Before you buy read their terms & conditions. they are missleading big time If you wanna give away $1200+ then go buy TV form them. it took me week with Sony to get them to fix the TV. “Please be truthful. This customer called us 20 days after he recieved delivery of his TV with an issue with the brightness. We DID offer to give him a return authorization but when he told us he threw out his manufacture's box that option was not possible. Our policy is very clear and fair. Kabariti called us with his credit card company on the line and they did understand and sided with us. No store can or would take back a 52 inch TV without a manufactures box for the mere simple reason that we would not be able to return it back to the manufacturer/vendor in that conditon and chances are it probably wouldnt be in one piece. We were more than reasonable with him. The unit came with a full manufacture's warranty but he refused to call Sony to look at it. He just was not understanding and threatened to slander us if we didnt do as he said which was to ship out a new one and he will put the old one in that box and he would cut the serial number off the box so that there wouldnt be an issue with them matching. Once again Mr.Kabariti, that is illegal and unethical.”
