"I ordered the Leatherman 860011 Crater c33 Knife from Botach-Tactical on April 10th for $8.98. I received an email on April 16th stating the item is "on backorder for approximately 2-3 weeks"I wait until May 7th (3 weeks) to contact them again since I have not had any email updates about the status of my order.The reply: "The following item(s) highlighted below from order botach-984153 are on backorder for approximately 1-2 weeks."My reply: "Cancel my order, I'm extremely disappointed and will never order from Botach."I do NOT recommend ordering from Botach Tactical."
"Poor, poor, poor customer service. 5 days and no response to an email concerning a defective item I received. Their live chat that their website encourages you to use? Never open. A friend warned me against even trying to call. Several wasted minutes of cell phone service later I was still listening to music before I finally hang up. fter getting pissed off enough to give up on asking a question about an exchange of the one defective part, I follow thier online instructions to request a return authorization. Still no response. I assume I will get a response at some point, but it won't matter next time I decide who to order (or not order) from."
"Buyers Beware,I purchase the Smith & Wesson Tritium watch from Amazon and there vender was Botach. Love the watch until the fourth day it stop working so I return the watch. Then Botach requested I pay for the return shipping. Very disappointing, but I have to return it for a refund. Few days later they e-mail me to apologies and will return the shipping cost and 10% off the exchange. I responded to there message and no reply, again very disappointing. Can not trust a company who has a very bad customer service, and do not respond to there customer. Next time I purchase anything from Amazon I will make sure it is not from Botach."
"Botach Tactical (BT) has a wide array of shooting and camping accessories and their online catalog is easy to maneuver. The main reason for my order was BT having the lowest prices that I could find on the web. The frosting on the cake was that BT does not charge sales tax, nor shipping! This was a no-brainer. Shipping was fast and my order arrived in great condition. The only issue I encountered was initially paying by Paypal, who in their wisdom, would not remit the funds (MY FUNDS!) to a company which probably goes against their political ideals. This was not BT's fault, and I finally ordered through conventional channels with a credit card. I have told others of this website and I look forward to ordering with BT in the future. Thanks, BT! "
"I have placed orders with Botach several times and have never had a problem with either their service. I have had to call them to redirect a shipment already being handled by UPS and they followed through quickly and professionally. Maybe I have been lucky the dozen or so times I have dealt with Botach but I have never had any of the problems that people have complaints about. I however don't really like how their stock check is slow and supposedly cannot be done over the phone w/ their customer service reps. I have always been cautious when ordering from Botach but have yet to run into any real problems."
"Not Pleased at all... I feel that this company sends emails with all these deals on their goods and when you place an order instead of the items showing not available they wait 4 to 7 days to send you an email stating item is backordered and there is not eta on availabiliy. That to me is wrong to do and i feel if thy cant even have common items in stock then they probably dont have atleast 10% of their advertised items in stock. I know they show great deals as long as your willing to wait weeks to get it. I wouldnt buy from them ever again."
"Placed order 3/31, received confirmation of order in E-Mail quickly but that is all thus far. If they are truly legit, then you better have patience because they certainly are NOT fast. Of the other 5 or so orders I placed the same day with other vendors all have arrived and all had tracking information to me within a day. Sub-par customer service4/4: Credit card is showing a hold but no charges at this time so they probably haven't even processed my order yet or don't even have the items... 3 days and no movement?!4/4: BBB.org complaint opened.More updates as I get them..."
"Botach went above and beyond to fulfill my backorder Magpul PMAGS! They contacted me via email to see if I would accept upgraded PMAGS. Of course I wouldn't pass up on the opportunity. They promptly shipped my order and it arrived 3 days later. I will be back to shop at Botach Tactical! "
"Beat everyone elses prices by a wide margin & free shipping. Can't beat it, if you are not in a hurry...If you need any customer service, expect to send an email and wait 4-5 days for a response. If you call, you will have to leave a message and wait the same amount of time.Items did arrive on time and both were in stock."
"About a week ago I ordered two MSA CBRN millennium gas masks from this seller. Price was the cheapest out of everywhere else. Delivery was timely they sent me an order confirmation tracking number and when the product was shipped another email. So far everything was going great. When I recieved the product what I got was disgusting, the masks were very old, rubber was hard, dry rot all over the mask especially hard and cracked at the edges and the straps shotty. I contacted botach through email (because it seems nearly impossible to reach them on the phone,I tried many times but no avail) as well as MSA to see what can ne done about this problem and I will update my review based upon what happens."
"Before you try this company call their phone number and see if you can get an answer. No answer? I didnt think so. So after your credit card has been charged what kind of service do you think you will recieve when you dont get your order, if it is late, back orderd, wrong product, returns, Ect... "I have placed 5 orders with Botach in the last 2 months and all have been out of stock and backordered, and they have not responded to my emails. Also, none of those orders have a status showning on their website (only in the email notifying me of the backorder).I suspect that most of the glowing 5-star reviews are submitted by Botach employees, since they all say the same thing (scripted?), gushing on about prompt shipping and great customer service which just doesn't jive with my experience. Note that other reviewers either echo my experience, or give them 5 stars; does it not seem strange that there is no middle ground?Don't be suckered in by their low prices; you will be lucky if you ever receive the product."
"Prices are great, but you'll never get your product and they'll waste your time, cause you frustration, and then not resolve your problem. Who needs that? Seriously go spend your money for a company that want your business and cares for it.One of the worst experiences that I've had with a online vendor in a long time. I take the time to Chat and Call the company, so in this case 2 people confirmed that an order for magazines can be made to be shipped to a friend in another state. I take the time to collect orders from my friends because *TWO* of their employees have now stated that the order would be fine, and I make the order. The order goes through okay and then, 2 days later, I get an email from a person that didn't look at the order, know who they were talking to, or see the destination of the order telling me that they would not fulfill my order.I wrote back that it was being sent to another state and that their employees had told me that there were going to be no problems. She states that a new "rule" was that I would be unable to make the order.Well, fine, make all the "rules" you want, but state it on the website and don't waste my time. Also train your employees so they know your own policies, both in answering my initial questions and professionally (not using stock, "sorry for the inconvenience" and "have a nice day") when your company screws up, it just makes them madder.I told the last person that I would make sure that my experience is relayed, and here's to honoring my promises. I will not order from them again at any price. Their bad service is well known and proven again with a new customer."
"I believe they've restructered their company and seems more reliable now. In the past, BT was notorious for advertising products not in stock with the dreaded delay shipping email the next day after payment. However, i placed my order and received my items within 2 days w/ tracking avail the next day after ordering. i'm very satisfied with my order and hope to continue business with BT. "
