"I ordered a book on March 13 from biggerbooks.com. I paid extra for shipping to get the book before my class started. The book is not coming in the mail until March 29th and biggerbooks.com had absolutely no remorse or resolution for rectifying the situation. I am taking an accelerated course and have a friend who gave me access to the book, but the book being shipped to me has an access code with it. I asked biggerbooks.com for a temporary access code in order to be able to pass the class and they said they apologize for their incompetence, but I will have to wait until March 29th to receive the book. It is unacceptable customer service and terrible to not have any sort of resolution for this type of situation. As a student, it is imperative that I am able to access my homework and my books and biggerbooks.com will never be receiving any orders from me anytime int he future. "
"I placed an order for a book that was advertised on their website. Three days later, they cancelled the order because they were "unable to locate a supplier"?? Why are they trying to sell a book that they don't have? They sent me a coupon for a "future order," but I will not order again."
"I placed my order with them on September 6th. It was a Tuesday and I needed this book by the next Wednesday. It's a lab book so the class meets once a week and we need the book to write in since we have experiments, etc. that we have to perform. Well, I figured the book would be here by the next week on the day I needed it. I kept checking the status and even though I never got an update through them, I didn't pay any mind since I order online often and sometimes websites don't really get updates. I was anxious however, but the status on their site changed and it should have shipped. Well, today, Tuesday (September 13th) I came home hoping to have the book at my house and when I checked my email they were just now shipping it today!!!! I am very upset. I should have just gotten it at school but now my school is sold out of this book and I was wanting to save some money. I don't think I'd do business with BB again. This is unacceptable. Most textbooks sellers have my books here by the first week of school. I'm upset but I had a friend copy the pages of their lab book so I can take them to class. "
"I ordered a Biology book and they sent the International version even though that isn't what their website listed. I emailed them several times and haven't heard a response. BAD or NO customer service! Be careful dealing with this company."
"I'm very disappointed in the customer service and shipping time for your product. I placed an order over a week ago (22 AUG 11) for a text book that I need for a class that began Saturday, 27 AUG 11. I didn't realize the small print, that describes that it takes at least 7-business days for you to receive the book and then an additional 3-5 business days for you to ship the product to me (according to the customer service representative). Additionally, the customer service representative mentioned that your (shipping) office is in KY and I'm in TN so it shouldn't take up to 5-days (we're border states; why so long). This is the first time I've used your service; other on-line business I've used has a significantly shorter delivery time and even simplified tracking system and customer service -- I don’t understand why your delivery time is so long or why it isn't otherwise conspicuously noted on your site. Your tracking system only gives limited information of the product ordered and I e-mailed you yesterday to inquire about my order: I have not yet received a reply from that message. I attempted to call your representative yesterday and finally when I was cued to the human customer service representative, the automated message said my wait time was 19-minutes (totally unacceptable). Today when I called, it wasn't nearly as long; but a 9-minute wait on the phone for a book that will potentially take more that 2-weeks to receive just means that dealing with your business is slow, unprofessional, and poorly organized. In order for me to be successful I will no longer use your services."
"LIke everyone else, I wish I looked at this site before buying with BiggerBooks. 23$ for expedited shipping and the book didn't go out until 6 days after the order was placed. I called to complain and they could care less. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! So I ordered from another company and if I want to return BiggerBooks text I will pay a 10% restocking fee!!!"
"It's been over 2 weeks and I still have not received my books. When I tried to call their customer service, I get disconnected after going through their little maze of phone options.Emailed them and was told "It says in our website it can take up to 9 days to get your book in..." By far the worst book company out their. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a kid working out of his mom's garage.EDIT: I did receive the book couple of days after this review and the product was in new condition.You might be ok with ordering from them if you have 4 weeks before your class starts. I changed the rating to reflect my experience"

"I ordered 3 books for my son on Jan. 18. After 2 days with no notification, I logged on and noticed that one of the books was "not available." So I emailed them and told them to ship the other 2 books out right away without waiting for the third one. IN the meantime, they had charged me the entire amount of the order.Another 2 days. I looked online and the order was STILL sitting (Jan. 24). I called and was on hold for 30 minutes (!), finally talked with someone, told her what to do (cancel the third book and send the other 2 and credit my account for the cancelled book).So I checked in yesterday and STILL nothing. ARG. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes this time and INSISTED that they ship the 2 books out THAT DAY and credit my account for the cancelled book.Looked online today and they sent the books out - NOT expedited, which is what I asked for (and paid for!), but by snail mail (USPS).Meanwhile, my son is having to borrow a book to get through the class.Guess who I'm calling again tomorrow?DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, WHICH IS ALSO KNOWN AS ECAMPUS.COMThey are UNRELIABLE WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE."
"I made the mistake of ordering without checking resellerratings...now I'm paying for it. I ordered a textbook on January 1st, 2011. 17 days later and I have yet to receive another e-mail from them. "I ordered a an algebra text on 9/1/10 and paid for 2 day shipping. It wasn't mailed until 9/9/10 and scheduled for delivery on 9/14/10. Is that really their idea of 2 day delivery? Maybe they should keep the book and read it themselves. They need a lot of help in the math and business areas. "
"I was extremely unhappy with your services. I ordered a textbook weeks in advance of my course start date. However, I never received it. I did receive an email stating that I would received my book as soon as possible. Yet, when I called your company myself I was told you didn't even have it in stock and that you had no idea when you would actually receive another copy. Now my class starts in five days. I've had to order from another source and I hope their services are better than yours. "
