"I am a Canon user and first heard of Berger Brothers when I was interested in purchasing a Canon EOS 1D Mark III. I have since, made three large purchases with them and I do recommend them without hesitation. I have done business with the large, online Camera dealers as well as my local Camera Store and have chosen Berger Brothers as my number one choice for the following reasons. They will go the extra mile to see that you get the product you need. They treat you as a real person rather than just another order. I felt as if I could trust what they told me and because of this, I felt comfortable making expensive purchases from them. They will follow your order from beginning all the way through shipping and if there is any problem they will make sure it is right. The owner cares about his customers and if I have a question about my order, tracking number, etc. I have always received a prompt reply even on a weekend. This is the way business should be done. The most important thing of all I have found about Berger Brothers is that when there has been a new camera announced by Canon, it is often hard to get. Even the big New York stores do not get the cameras but Berger Brothers is often the first to get them. This is important to me. "

"It all looked very good, until I learned that the $1300+ lens I had ordered was not in stock and would take 5 more days. Not a problem. When I took advantage of the wait and extended my order volume, I was told that my lens would be in "in 10 days or so". I called and asked for an urgently needed screen protector to be shipped now and I expected not to be charged for this partial shipment. Mr. Berger didn't see it that way and was worried about his profit being reduced. The fact that my order was over 13 times the minimum amount for free shipping didn't sway him.I went ahead and cancelled my order, not minding that I am now paying $20 more for the same, and I get it shipped tomorrow.Edit: Mr. Berger did call me back after I cancelled. I have to give him credit for fighting for his business. When I told him that I am now paying $20 more for the same order, he called it foolish. I call it integrity."

The camera was out of stock from nearly every reputable retailer; Berger Brothers said that they could have one to me in September. On September 10th they called to let me know they were shipping the camera.What impressed me the most, however, was their customer response during the sale. Most retailers would barely give me the time of day, but were more than happy to take my credit card number. Berger Brothers was honest about their shipment frequency and wait list time.
