"It is scary to read about so many negative experiences this company is having with its customers. I was planning to buy a backyard fountain but when I read the reviews I decided to shop elsewhere. Its to bad, they offer competitive prices. The company needs to address and rectify the complaints that customers are lodging or else face the lose of business."

"I ordered two Uttermost preserved boxwood topiaries. I received both topiaries. One was damaged but I was able to fix it. The other one won't stand up at all and topples over. The topiary comes out of the pot at an angle because it was potted incorrectly. It is not usable and unsightly. Customer Service - GABBY - said I could get a replacement if there was damage. I have sent 3 emails now requesting a replacement and asking how to get a replacement with no response at all - complete silence. I know Uttermost is a reputable company and should stand behind their product. I hope Bath and Kitchen Decor will handle this the right way and get a replacement topiary. Order Number #BKD-115367. "I placed an order on May 30th for an in stock item. Last week, I was told the order would ship. They appear to have created a fedex tracking slip on Friday, but have not delivered the package to fedex or arranged for delivery. I was told the order would be picked up today. It has not been picked up. Their mail box is full. Stay tuned."

The customer service was excellent and I did receive my order in 4 weeks, which was what I was told the first time I called. For the price, it was worth waiting the 4 weeks. The item was received in perfect condition."
"The worst company I have ever dealt with - ripped off for $269.28. I had many of the same issues as other posters. Originally ordered on 1/20/2013 and am still dealing with them. First no confirmation email even though my card had been charged. Finally received my lights (damaged) on 2/19/2013 after several emails asking what is going on. Sent pics of damage. Have several emails from Larry Krayzman stating he will refund, but have never received a credit on my card. He either doesn't know how to post a refund or is just flat out lying. Please think twice before ordering from this company. They are either the worst run company I have ever dealt with or just a bunch of lying crooks."
“I apologize for this, the credit card company that we used to run our transactions through are no longer our merchant due to various reasons. They clearly showed that we were able to post this refund but never transferred funds. The only way we can post a refund is against a charge so the processing company we deal with now would have no record of a charge to you since it was done under another processor. The only way we can post a refund to you is VIA check or if disputed we will definitely not fight the dispute and accept chargeback. "CHEAPER THAN MOST, BUT ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. JUST PLAIN DONT CARE! They also opened a new website eagleslighting.com, don't be duped.Ordered from these guys 2 times. Both orders were for George Kovacs light fixtures. The first one (smaller test order) arrived in 2 weeks, they never sent any "shipment notification" contrary to their promise. The second order is taking 4 weeks to receive. They informed me that it would ship 2 weeks post order date, well at 3.5 weeks and after numerous calls they finally gave me a tracking number. The shipment still has't left the warehouse. The place is the cheapest I found, but if you actually need something in sensitive time, and want to receive any accurate order progress information AVOID this place. Sorry for generalization, but one of their male service reps (female is nice)is just plain disinterested and very annoyed with anyone calling them. He gave me wrong info and when on a follow up call I asked him why, he just brushed it off. Said the order just arrived - to where I ask? California or NJ... Where is it shipping from? Because that impacts the delivery time.UPDATE as of 6/11/13. FedEx tracking number was given on 6/4/13, and a whole week later (as of 6/11/13) the order still hasn't shipped. Why would anyone give a FedEx tracking number and not ship the darn thing?....On the call another rep was going to "give me a tracking number", - the same number I was given a week ago. I threatened to dispute the charges unless their manager called back in a few hours and gives me an honest answer about the progress of this order.UPDATE 6/12/13: No one in the manager role called me yet, so I called them the next day. The customer service rep stated that the item was backordered all along and I should have received a call or an email from them. She wondered whether I was checking my e-mails. I forwarded them the e-mail they send informing me that the item had shipped on 6/4/13. She plain ignored this and stated that the vendor is ready to ship tomorrow. I cancelled the order right away and disputed the charges with the credit card. This company is plain FRAUD. They use credit card charges as operating cash flow while the items are not shipped for weeks or months. AVOID!!!!RESPONSE to BathKithenDecor Rep:You are fraud for the following reasons:1) You lied to me for almost 3 weeks claiming that the item is "ready to ship tomorrow". I cancelled when it was obvious that you were blatantly lying.2) You gave me a fake tracking number, thus only reiterating that you weren't going to ship the item as you were promising.3) You took my money immediately after the order was placed, thus you had the use of my money.4 Your apology for "not keeping me informed" is an apology for the wrong action, you should be apologizing for LIES and providing false information to the customer. Even in your response you will not state the truth."

If we are actually trying to scam customers then how did you receive any order from us? Your second order was ready to go, unfortunately for you it was on the same day that you cancelled it. We actually have the merchandise in the warehouse due to you cancelling your order. The comments you made are untrue, we have been in business almost 4 years and serviced over 10,000 customers in that time. However, I do understand where your frustration is coming from and apologize for the mistreatment of your order. It took too long to get in the items and you should have definitely been kept up to date on this.”
"Save yourself sometime and order from some where else. Placed an order and only received a generic order received you will receive a follow-up email. One week later- nothing. I tried calling customer service and received a mailbox full message- bad sign. I sent an email inquiry which was responded to and I was told it takes two weeks from order placement for the vendor to ship. However, they ship to their warehouse and then they will ship to me. I was not happy with how long it was going to take, but figured that's what I get for trying to save a few bucks. However, a week later I received an email from PayPal stating I had received a refund from BKD. No email or phone call from BKD explaining what happened. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received from an Internet company. I just placed an order for the same item from another site and they guarantee it will be at my house in a week. Save yourself some headaches and order from a reputable company that charges a little more."

"I cannot say anything negative about this company. I placed an order several days ago and made note that I didn't want any items unless they could all be shipped. I was notified that one item was unavailable and my order was immediately cancelled upon request. I ordered another order and then read these reviews. I called the company (after the listed business hours) and spoke with a gentleman in regards to my order. He told me that it was available but could not be shipped for 5-7 days. I was afraid to continue with the order because of the comments left here. I requested that he cancel my order and send me an email confirmation. He did so immediately. I had great customer service on my issues. I feel that I probably should have continued with my order but didn't want to take a chance because of the importance of receiving my order complete and timely. Please don't make negative comments if they aren't justified. "
"Wish I had seen all the "Stay Away" posts prior to placing my order. I placed my ceiling fan order on 5/6/13. Customer service answers the phone with 'Hello? Yeah, let me check that. So instead of shipping to us on wednesday, it is going to get there on friday" Get where? No concrete details and 'it's not what i wrote down from our last conversation'. And then the same crap happening next week. And getting adamant about my impatience about a month since order placed and still no positive feedback. And the latest today - after which i cancelled my order - earlier today "will send you tracking number soon" - what is soon - how do you stay in business giving vague, lame details?? Two hours later, its not going to arrive today, thats what the vendor just told me. So that was the last straw...I shop online all the time and have never experienced such slow and unprofessional service. "we are open until 8pm - HAVE YOU HEARD OF TIME ZONES? how do i know what your 8pm means to me? my 6 year old could have done a better job answering the phone. I was consoled at one point, that someone else has been waiting since April 20...How does that make things better, thats a huge red flag in my opinion!! In the end, it was too good to be true, $100 difference in my case. But if you estimate all the time I wasted listening to all the lies about supposed shipping dates, it goes way beyond $100...Shoppers beware!!!"

"DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! WORST ONLINE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! Terrible customer service and they lie to you about ship dates. It took me 3 months to get a light fixture that I ordered and once I received it, it was the wrong color. I then had to pay $100 to ship it back in order to get a refund. 3 months later, I'm still fighting them for the refund of a $500 light fixture. Horrible! Just look at how they respond to other customer complaints. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Bath Kitchen Decor!"

When I called to check shipping status only thing I heard was "you can still cancel it" not a word for an apology. Worst ever customer experience."
