Plus they stopped their good shopping bags as soon as Borders went down ;)<br>On the other hand my nook experience has been good as was this last purchase.<br>I had one infuriating experience buying a pre-order online. I pre-ordered a book and as usual was told I would not be charged until the book shipped BUT on a random date - not the day I ordered nor the day my book shipped - B&N ran an approval for the price of the book. It just so happened that that day my checking account was insufficient to cover that charge. This caused me to bounce two checks and of course incur an overdraft. Because it was only an approval the bank refunded my charges (they could see the money came back in 48 hours) and I got lucky the bounced checks went through the second time 3 days later, so no late fees or bounced check fees. The only reason this book did not cost me $150 instead of $18.77 was I had some understanding folks at the bank and my car company. The order number for this transaction was #384801604 <br>This random approval run is not acceptable, I have not renewed my loyalty card for that reason. "I have always received my NOOK Books from Barnes and Noble with out delay. It is so simple to go on line and order a book and have it in a matter of minutes.
